Since the time of booking, Manuel has been very detailed in the information and very agile in answering questions. In addition, Dimitriv and his wife, who support locally, were extremely attentive and always present to answer any questions. I suggest organizing the taxi with Manuel at the airport for ease. It wasn't my first time in Cuba and having trusted contacts locally is key. Always ask Dimitriv and Manuel about any need, from currency exchange to reliable indications of purchases. Havana remains the same pulsating city it has always been - with its good things (restaurants, historical collections, beautiful buildings) and its bad things (constant approach to tourists for not always reliable services such as taxi and shopping). We were between December 2024 and January 2025 - In this period the city was experiencing utility problems, but we had no power outage issues or safety issues. The terrace is too much

Mr Navi and his team once again proved just how great they are After a minor unexpected issue was encountered upon arrival they mustered all their efforts and quickly and professionally handled it. They went WAY above and beyond what I would have ever expected. What an absolutely perfect place. Amazing location, super clean, and by far the best host ever. Everything is in walking distance and extremely safe. This is the only place I will stay at if I have the opportunity to return to Havana. I loved every second of my stay and highly recommend it.

This was my ninth trip to Cuba since 2016 and my ninth trip staying at this particular air BNB. The host and the entire family is always so friendly, helpful, amazing food and just an over all amazing experience. I love staying here and will continue to stay here each time I visit. It is walking distance or a quick ferry ride or quick taxi / bus ride to so many fun things to do. Pablo also is a fantastic tour guide if you choose to have him take you around. Very knowledgeable of Cuba and the history, always picks the best restaurants and activities to do while there. His aunt is an amazing cook if you get the chance to have her cook for you and makes the best juices. This is one of my favorites places to come visit and to stay. Thank you to Pablo and his family for always being amazing.

This guy single handedly saved our last 3 days in Cuba with his solarpanels during the nation wide blackout. (This way we manage to check in for our flights) We never planned on visiting Matanzas, but boy, Alay made it very interesting with his background in tourism. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our time at the Casa Azul. We plan to make another trip, just to stay there. Maikel was an excellent resource and help locally! We felt so safe. He saved the day many times and helped us find the best local restaurant Oasis! Thank you so much for wonderful hospitality and friendship at Casa Azul!
