Our stay at Crested Pidgeon Cottage was such a treat! I’ve stayed at over 30 Airbnb’s, in over 15 countries…and this was my favorite experience thus far. Clive the Camel was the selling point, but the entire stay was great. It was so peaceful, and the nature watching was top notch. We saw a family of kangaroo on the drive in, got to watch the sheep, alpaca and camel out the back door, and plenty of bird watching as well. We also got an extra special surprise when we found out she was fostering a joey, which we got to meet and hold. Emmie was super friendly and we learned a lot about their farm and the area. We enjoyed it so much we ended up staying an extra night. If you are in need of accommodations in the area, I highly recommend!

Melaleuca Cottage was lovely & cosy. It was very comfortable & there were a number of thoughtful inclusions. Simon greeted us on arrival & was very friendly & helpful during out stay. We got to meet & feed Bobby & Magee as well as the 3 sheep. Annie, their dog, greeted us with loads of excitement each time we met her. Orange town centre is only a few minutes away & the wine district is on your doorstep. We will definitely be back & would recommend Melaleuca Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away.

Beautiful quiet country cottage. Only noise was the neighbours donkey, which we loved. Quirky decor gives a great feel to the place. Close to Canowindra and Cowra for day trips. Japanese Gardens at Cowra definitely worth a look. Recommended.

Another incredible stay for us at The Resting Place. We have come to feel that this is a home away from home for us, and in the words of my daughter “it’s not truly summer holidays until we have had a stay at Molong” Restful, relaxing, peaceful, homely - we could go on and on. There is a reason this is our favourite AirBnB - this is because Neil, Jan and Megs have always looked after us so well. We loved catching up with you on this visit, and hope we get to see you again. Beautiful home and beautiful people. 💞
