Cabin vacation rentals in Cable

Great cabin, lots of good space. We used the garage space but it was chilly since it is only a single auxiliary heater. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Voyager village amenities are great too, and the club house is an easy walk. The hiking trail right out back is very convenient. We’d happily stay here again!

The place was spacious. It was a great place for 3 couples to stay. Each couple had their own floor and bathroom. The sauna was an added value. We would definitely stay again.

Despite this being the 2nd year in a row without snow, we had a great time at this cabin! The space was perfect for our extended family. We enjoyed hiking on the trails right outside the back door. We had them all to ourselves! The fish fry at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. The pool, sauna and work out room were fabulous! I highly recommend this place.

Our girls weekend at Hillary’s was lovely! So peaceful and relaxing! We spent hours at the fire pit. We enjoyed the resort amenities. The place was so adorable. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the Danbury area. I really loved that there was a piece of artwork from the owner hanging in the living room. That was a cool touch! Thanks Hillary for a fantastic stay!

This was our second year staying in Tom’s cabin at Schoolhouse Lake for our family of 4. The cabin was spotless upon our arrival. We were able to pack lighter bringing just food/drink, clothes, and fishing gear due to all of the essentials being provided. We rented the Jon boat and caught Northern Pike, Perch, many Bass and Crappie, and a lot of Bluegills in the lake. Our sons are 14 and 11 and loved fishing and swimming everyday. The pool is super nice! We also made the 7 minute trip to Hayward a few times for go-carts, bait, and the nice shops to get some candy and souvenirs. On our last day we went horseback riding in Spider Lake which was a great experience for our whole family. We have already booked our trip for next year!

We had an awesome stay here! The cabin is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. This is one of those places where they thought of everything you would need to feel comfortable and right at home. The hot tub was very nice, fun pool table in the basement (though they need some new pool sticks), the beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, etc. We also really enjoyed walking around in the woods behind the cabin with our kids - very peaceful and quiet. We would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed over New Year’s Eve with friends. Marla was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed the place and especially the hot tub. Would stay here again.

What a wonderful place! My Bookclub rented Wendy’s beautiful property for a long weekend of reading, relaxing, and hanging out and it was a wonderful space. Great to gather together to cook, play games, or just chat. It also has lovely views of the lake and a fantastic hot tub. The cabin was honestly even more beautiful than the pictures and very clean. Wendy was responsive to any questions we had. We all hope to come back in the future!

The place was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful views, gorgeous place, and lots of fun activities to do. Don’t have a bad thing to say about my stay here. Would definitely recommend to others.

Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect place for 5 adults to unwind over a weekend. Hiked in the woods on trails and cooked tasty meals. Great hot tub. Comfortable beds.

This was a perfect place for a winter family getaway! The home was very clean and is just as the pictures depict. The host has done a great job providing all that you need, as well as so many touches that made it feel right at home. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return again!

For a friends weekend trip this was the perfect place! We absolutely loved the cabin. It was way better looking in person than in the photos! The amenities were amazing and we truly appreciated the short “check out” list. We are already planning our next trip at the hideout!

Great place and a great host! Katelyn responded to messages almost immediately every time we had a question. Place is peaceful and clean! Beautiful cabin on the lake. Exactly like the pictures show. Owners explained everything in detail so we didn’t have any questions or concerns when we arrived, but still provided contact information. So looking forward to going back next year!

We love the Cable Cabin. This was our second stay here. We were in town for a cross country ski race. Location was perfect as we could walk to The Rivers Eatery, book shop, Velo Cafe and grocery store. At last stay we walked to the local ice skating rink. Love lounging in the warm living room watching the snow fall on the trees. Enjoyed playing Galaga! Appreciate the yoga mats and foam roller. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Was also nice to do a load of laundry. Ben was a great host. I highly recommend the Cable Cabin.

We loved our long weekend at this cabin! Though it was an extreme cold snap, we ventured out for short walks on the peninsula, and mostly stayed cozy inside with a fire in the wood stove all day long. No issues at all with heat or hot water in the severely cold weather. Eric was so helpful when my car wouldn't start at check-out time, accommodated my delayed departure, and talked me through using his car battery charger. This made sure our great weekend ended on a high note!

This was a wonderful and cozy getaway during the coldest cold snap of the season! Got down to -19° F outside but thanks to the wood burning stove, we were able to get the cabin as warm as 100° F...probably overkill on our part, but let that speak as a testament to the insulation, lol. Anyways, great stay, exactly as described. So quiet, beautiful starry skies, and surprisingly comfortable beds. We’d love to come back and explore more of the trails when weather isn’t sub-zero!

We had a very peaceful stay, which is just what we wanted. It’s beautiful there @ Teal lake. Victoria was very, very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely go again.

Perfect location for Nordic skiing, mountain biking and hiking. Startline sports is fantastic and can support all your needs. Great spot and great hosts!
