Cabin vacation rentals in Cable

Great cabin, lots of good space. We used the garage space but it was chilly since it is only a single auxiliary heater. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Voyager village amenities are great too, and the club house is an easy walk. The hiking trail right out back is very convenient. We’d happily stay here again!

The place was spacious. It was a great place for 3 couples to stay. Each couple had their own floor and bathroom. The sauna was an added value. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place and location. We loved the cabin’s kitschy personality. Yes the stairs are steep but we were anticipating that based on other reviews. It worked out fine for us. We had small dogs with us that were carried up and down the stairs when went to bed in the evening. Couple small things would have made the stay a little more comfortable. A few board games for rainy days. A couple basic cooking items like oil, sugar and garlic powder. The pillows are pretty beat up and could use replacing. All of these things are pretty easily overlooked though for the location alone. Woodsy and magical and so close to Big Bay Town Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautifully crafted cabin.

Despite this being the 2nd year in a row without snow, we had a great time at this cabin! The space was perfect for our extended family. We enjoyed hiking on the trails right outside the back door. We had them all to ourselves! The fish fry at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. The pool, sauna and work out room were fabulous! I highly recommend this place.

Our girls weekend at Hillary’s was lovely! So peaceful and relaxing! We spent hours at the fire pit. We enjoyed the resort amenities. The place was so adorable. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the Danbury area. I really loved that there was a piece of artwork from the owner hanging in the living room. That was a cool touch! Thanks Hillary for a fantastic stay!

We had a great time! Nice location …walking distance to the hotel pub where you can get a great fish fry/ food. Family friendly. You can also use the hotel pool for a small fee. Great for kids!

This was our second year staying in Tom’s cabin at Schoolhouse Lake for our family of 4. The cabin was spotless upon our arrival. We were able to pack lighter bringing just food/drink, clothes, and fishing gear due to all of the essentials being provided. We rented the Jon boat and caught Northern Pike, Perch, many Bass and Crappie, and a lot of Bluegills in the lake. Our sons are 14 and 11 and loved fishing and swimming everyday. The pool is super nice! We also made the 7 minute trip to Hayward a few times for go-carts, bait, and the nice shops to get some candy and souvenirs. On our last day we went horseback riding in Spider Lake which was a great experience for our whole family. We have already booked our trip for next year!

Gorgeous cabin. The woods were pristine after a stunning snowfall! The hot tub was perfect. Great weekend getaway!

Wow - this place was incredible. Arriving to sit in the hot tub while it was snowing, spending time with friends in the game garage, hanging by the fire with an old fashioned…it was the perfect winter getaway. I wish I could live here 😅

Stayed over New Year’s Eve with friends. Marla was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed the place and especially the hot tub. Would stay here again.

This is a lovely spot that sleeps a group. We appreciated how well-appointed it is -lots of plates and glassware, ample towels and sharp knives! Lovely spot to watch the lake or walk around. We went into town for antique and art shopping.

Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful cabin perfect for a quiet getaway. Close to both Shell Lake and Spooner to get a bite to eat or supplies yet feel like you are away from it all. Great appliances to make meals, we had a amazing prime rib dinner. Comfortable beds made for great sleep. And the hot tub was awesome! We will definitely be back!!!

A small group of friends and I stayed here for our annual girls winter weekend getaway. We look for a cozy cabin where we can hunker down and relax for the weekend. This place was perfect! It was very comfortable and homey. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with dishes and pot and pans for cooking dinner in. There were also a few local eateries that we checked out and they were delicious. Having two bathrooms was really nice! The beds were also very comfortable! We all slept well and were very cozy! The hot tub onsite was operational and ready to use. It was really nice that they had beach towels for the hot tub and separate bath towels for showering. Jim's cabin was exactly what we were looking for! A cute and rustic cabin where we could rest, relax and recharge for the weekend. We would definitely come back here!

The house was as beautiful and clean as the pictures. The large hot tub was a wonderful extra along with the dart board and other games. We so enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place in a secluded area on Moose Lake. We were there in winter and it was so quiet and peaceful. Nice newer-built lake cabin. All the basic necessities, including internet. Small, simple kitchen (no dishwasher). No laundry. Internet. TV. Nice wood-burning fireplace! Comfortable for one or two couples and two small kids with its three sleeping areas. Would rent again.

My wife and I stayed at Cabin #2 for our anniversary, and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The cabin was perfect in every way, the location was more beautiful than I expected, and Scott went above and beyond in his accommodations and communications. We would definitely go back, and we are very grateful!

We travel A LOT and this sweet little spot was perfect for our little fam. We bring our 12 month old with us and this place made it very accommodating. All of the amenities were amazing and the small touches of baby toys, blankets, and shower stuff really exceeded my expectations. We would stay here again if we come back!

The cabin was quiet, and everyone was friendly that were renting the other cabins. The amenities were wonderful - they even provided firewood for the fire pits. The cabin was clean and not at all cluttered. The location was beautiful.

Great cabin for a nice getaway, wish we had more time to spend there! Nice area and the lake was great for ice fishing. Clean cabin that had everything we needed.

The cabin was just what you want from a cabin on a beautiful lake in the north. The porch, the fire pit, the dock, the canoe... all very useable and well kept. There were board games, great wifi, and even a small library of books. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make and eat a meal. The only negatives I would say are the water tank was small and the master bedroom was an open loft to the kitchen and living room. We had a larger group of adults, 8 of us, and we had to schedule our showers and bed times accordingly. But even with that it was totally worth it! The sunsets on the lake were so breathtaking and peaceful. And don't forget to look up and see the stars, northern lights and the milky way and listen for the loons and owls. It was magical!

This unit is small, and cozy, and extremely well stocked with all kinds of cooking paraphernalia, a comfortable mattress, a very serviceable shower, a nice table to prep food on, and eat at with bar stools. The TV with Netflix was nice, and we appreciated how secure you could fasten the door with a deadbolt, and chain. Conveniently located in town with lots of things within easy walking distance, but set amongst trees, and right on the lakeshore, so it doesn't feel like you're in town, it's beautiful!
