Beachfront vacation rentals in Bute

Simon was never intrusive, but quick to respond with any query we had. The flat has a beautiful outlook over the lock with a large garden at the back which our cat enjoyed. The flat is warm and peaceful, and only 20 minutes from the car ferry at Hunter's Quay with Benmore Botanic Gardens, Kilmun Arboretum and Puck's Glen even closer for long walks. There are cafes and restaurants a short distance from the flat - we particularly enjoyed the Blairmore Cafe and shop - great for late breakfasts and late lunches. Will be back

Great view and location, comfy bed, kitchen had everything needed to cook meals especially as we were stuck in all day due to red weather warning. We had a small issue with the heating but the host was super responsive and explained how to fix it straight away.

I had a great stay at Norrie’s place, the house is in a beautiful location and was lovely and warm when I arrived.

Had a lovely stay over Christmas at Ari’s place. A lovely gesture of a gift bag full of treats under the tree when we arrived! Love the feel of the place and its location even more with being just a few steps away from the beach. Loved waking up to the view of the Holy Isle every day! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Peaceful and private cottage with amazing views. We enjoyed watching the seals and walking by the loch. The cottage was stunning and well equipped.

East Kirk was just like the pictures, both the ‘chapel’, the views, and the area were beautiful. One member of our party has said it’s a ‘beautiful reconstruction.’ Lots of space within the building. We came out of season and were able to walk locally to a pub for a meal - enjoyed by all; there was also a bookshop just down the road. It was a good location, very peaceful.

Lovely apartment within walking distance of Dunoon town centre. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and even had a slow cooker and air fryer if you wanted to cook ( we didn’t). Always cosy

Lovely little cottage with everything required for a short stay (or longer if you’re lucky enough!). Victoria was a lovely and communicative host from the second we made our booking. Very quiet and comfortable accommodation with easy access to the centre of town and just 30 seconds from the sea. A sweet welcome pack was very much appreciated.

We had a wonderful New Year here. The stunning and ever changing views across the Clyde from the large living room windows are excellent. A great place to relax, draw and spot wildlife. The place is spacious and plenty of room for 2 couples. This is our 2nd stay and we loved it.

We stayed at Chris’ place over new year and it was perfect. A stunning setting with some lovely walks and right by the water. We saw red squirrels, an otter, a heron and lots of other birds. It was a short stay but there was a lot more to see and do than we managed.

I've just returned from a week on the Isle of Bute, where I stayed at Ettrick Cottage. The accommodation is fantastic and really high quality with great views across Ettrick Bay. The hosts were very helpful with their communication prior to arrival and were very discrete. It was a wonderful stay in well appointed accommodation.

We had a great stay at this property, sea views over 3 levels, ample space for us all (3 families (6 adults, 6 children). And there was literally everything we needed in the kitchen, every utensil possible, we were very impressed. The overall temperature of the property was really good, considering at times it felt like -5 degrees outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you for a great stay.

Jill was truly a blessing to me and my group of friends after we got stuck inside because of a horrible storm. She was kind enough to care after us and made sure me and my friends were okay the whole way through. The Airbnb was really nice and cozy, a shame we didn’t get to explore the area but we are already thinking of coming back and actually doing it! Thank you Jill for such an amazing stay. 🫶🏼

Dear Laura and Lee We had a wonderful stay at Cuilabhaila House.The position and views are perfection and also the house itself.There is nothing we have needed it is all provided Thankyou.The house is beautiful and full of interesting things to look at. The house is perfect for a large family group like ours, plenty of space to do our own thing but also a large table to gather around at mealtimes. Time on Arran has gone all too quickly as we knew it would.We have managed to do lots to suit everyone.The younger ones did horse riding on the beach.The energetic ones walked up Goat Fell and have been cold water swimming each morning.Some of us explored the history of Brodick Castle and we walked the autumn forest above Lamlash.We drove into the north of the island and made notes of more we would like to explore on Arran in the future. We had a really fantastic family trip to Joshua’s place. He is a fantastic host. The house is perfect for a large group get together with lots of indoor and outdoor space.

Fantastic place for our very special family Christmas. Rae & Justin pulled out all the stops for Christmas including welcome gifts in our room. Great location and surroundings, fabulous easily accessible walks, towns and castles an hour away. The house was very accommodating and perfect for our group our 9, the use of the hot tub in December made it extra special

A lovely stay in a picturesque village. Would highly recommend Colette’s spot to stay anytime you are near Luss. Clean, spacious, well stocked. Perfect for a big group!
