Vacation rentals with beach access in Buskerud

It was a great stay for halfway between Oslo and Bergen. Roomy and kitchen was well stocked with essentials.

Absolutely amazing accommodation. Incredibly hospitable. Was like borrowing an apartment from a friend. There was everything. We didn't have to take advantage of the hospitable things that existed, but the idea itself, that you lend your home in such a way that it really feels like a home is unusual and becomes cozy in a completely different way. Then the apartment was nicely located near the ski slopes in beautiful surroundings and Ellen also helpful and friendly. I have nothing else to wish for in a space other than this. My kids were also thrilled. We are very happy to come back both winter or summer.

Highly recommend the lovely apartment in Geilo. Great host who responds quickly to messages. The apartment is very well located, close to beautiful nature and ski lift. We'd love to come back.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

A huge thank you to Mette for this little cocoon nestled a stone's throw from the sea! My friend and I spent three amazing days in this enchanting place. This haven of peace, ideal for relaxing and regaining serenity, allowed us to fully enjoy our stay between walks and moments of relaxation. The bedding is amazing, and the cabin has everything you need, with impeccable cleanliness. The location is perfect, with the beach and beautiful hiking trails nearby. This is the perfect place for a real break. I highly recommend it!

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. You can walk to a large shopping center quite quickly, where there is everything your heart desires. In general, you get along very well on foot. I did not test public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I was also happy to do. He gave many tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all very great 5 weeks.

Beautiful views to wake up to! I’m sure in the summer kayaking out on the water would have been awesome! Felt like a very safe neighborhood.

My family of four highly recommends staying in Beate and Jakob’s schoolhouse. We slept great, had everything we needed and felt right at home in the beautiful setting. We even got to borrow snow racers and go sledding! I hope we can be back to enjoy the beach in the summer.

We really enjoyed our stay at Anne’s place. Great find. It matched the descriptions, the place is beyond peaceful. Very warm, cozy. We were alway comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped so we were able to make meals comfortably. Anne is a very caring host. We hope to visit again!

We (family with two adults and two big children) have had a wonderful week in the house. Both the house and the surroundings are wonderful. The house is very cozy, well-maintained and clean and feels homey and nice from the moment you enter. The bedrooms are good with lovely beds (even slept better than at home), the living room with wood-burning stove is cozy and comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped and super clean. The view is absolutely stunning over the Oslo fjord and the changing weather constantly changed the light, and it is very breathtaking. We have felt very welcome with good directions before arrival, and when we arrived with made beds, flowers, etc. The area invites good walks, visits to Drøbak and other cozy towns in the area, disc golf courses if you play it, swim in the fjord in the summer and it takes less than an hour to Oslo. All in all, a super nice fall break in a lovely house in a beautiful location. We are happy to come back again and can only recommend the house to others.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

My wife, our two sons ages 15 and 25, and I enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Berit and her husband Knut have been super nice and helpful throughout the stay. Rauland has a super middle-stage ski resort, and the apartment is a 10-15 minute drive away with shopping opportunities on the way. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed the view from the place, as it is more beautiful than pictures can reproduce.

Our stay with Paula was so great! She is super sweet and caring, we loved the privacy of the apartment in combination with our chats when coming in or leaving the apartment! The area is great for snowkiting, skiing and cross-country skiing, so we did all that and then came back home to this lovely warm place with a hot shower, great bed and cute christmas decorations. Thanks Paula for this warm welcome to Norway!

We had an amazing stay at Mari’s apartment. Mari is a wonderful host, gave great information of the local area. The apartment was so cosy, and clean, and had everything we needed. It backed right onto some woods with lovely walks. The best thing of all was the stunning view from the balcony over the lake and hills. And if the northern lights are out (which they were but we were asleep, oblivious!) then I can only imagine the beauty from the photos I saw! Highly recommend Mari’s place.

Gro & Lars were excellent host—responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, even leaving a welcome treat. Synnes cottage was very cozy, well equipped and is perfectly located with a short walk to the slopes. The contact with Synne was perfect, great information and quick answers to questions. We're thrilled!
