The cottage is in a quiet location, with extensive views from the dining-room over fields. The house is spotlessly clean, excellently equipped and extremely comfortable. The house is even more spacious than the photographs suggest, and it made a superb base from which we explored north Norfolk. There is a lot to do near by as well as some great restaurants. Within walking distance is a good Thai restaurant (the Crawfish Inn), and at Letheringsett, just a mile west of Holt, is the excellent King's Head pub, where the food is top notch. We would strongly recommend Julia's fabulous cottage. Thank you, Julia, for making our stay so comfortable.

We had a very pleasant stay at Twixt, where everything worked and when we needed help we always received it very quickly. The kitchen and bathroom are quite new and modern and the rest of the house retains period features. We were there in late autumn so during the day we tended to spend more time in the kitchen/dining area which had much more light than the front room, which was suted to evenings with the fire going. In the vicinity there is just one pub/restaurant, The Hero, which is a (dog-)friendly establishment. So, if you are looking for an active nightlife, this woudl be the wrong place. If on the other hand, you want somewhere right by the water, quiet and with good access to the marshes and beach, Twixt would be a good choice. Holkham Hall and Beach, Wells-next-the-Sea, Morston Quay, Brancaster, Burnham Market are all within easy reach by car. Thank you, Rebecca, we enjoyed ourselves!

After a rocky start at another property which was entirely unsuitable we found Georgie’s home nearby and it was perfect! We were so lucky it was available and Georgie was so accommodating at the last minute. It really felt like we were staying at a friends house and we felt immediately at home the moment we walked in the door. It was clean, welcoming and you could tell it was a loved and happy home. Staying at Georgie’s house made our Christmas so special and relaxing. It was like a home away from home; full of love and warmth in the decor and atmosphere. Great to be so close to the coast and great amenities yet in a very quiet and peaceful environment. We were sad to leave and will definitely always consider it as a go to place when visiting north Norfolk.

We had a great time staying at The Old Bakery with our young children and friends with their young children. The house is comfy and well equipped, and has a load of interesting historical features and character. The large open plan living and dining space, collection of board games and books, and the wood burning stove were real highlights. The cottage also has a lovely peaceful garden which would have been great in warmer weather. The location is great if you have a car, within an easy drive of most of the North Norfolk coast. We also found it an added bonus that there is a children's play area and playing field right opposite the cottage. Frances was a very helpful host, and the homemade cake and local apple juice waiting for us on arrival was a lovely touch.

We had a lovely stay, the position was perfect for us as we were visiting our daughter in the village. Stunning views from the house, which was very comfortable.

I have stayed at the cottage a few times now and it always delivers. Ben keeps his properties in pristine condition and ensures a warm welcome. when we arrived on a cold night the log burner had been lit so it was literally a very warm welcome. Ben the owner as usual checked in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory then leaves you to enjoy your break. However, if you do need anything or have any questions he is really responsive. As stated I have stayed here multiple times and can highly recommend the properties and Ben as a host.

What a fantastic location. We hope to return. And we loved the place, the kitchen is really nice (bigger than it looks on the photos) and everything about the flat was lovely. You won't find a better located place to stay in Cromer if you want a one bedroomed flat. I can't wait until we return (as we surely will). A lovely October weekend.

We had a wonderful stay, the accommodation was bigger than I expected and in perfect condition throughout. The Woodburner was cosy at night and the patio doors were great to open up in the day, to enjoy the enclosed patio with the wonderful hottub. Our dog loved being able to run around the paddock which is just a short walk away from the lodge. The grounds are immaculately kept and felt peaceful and private.

Angie's place is a brilliantly located, comfy and cosy apartment literally steps from the centre of Sheringham but without any of the noise you get with town centre living. For "cosy" there's no need to read "small" - the living spaces were a really good size, as were the two bedrooms. Having off road parking right outside the gate was also a huge plus. Angie was very responsive and dealt with a minor issue really quickly. All in all, a great stay in our favourite place in Norfolk.

The Phoenix by the Sea suited my Wife & I perfectly. It was warm & clean with excellent Wi-Fi. The description and photos are spot on. Would we stay again? Most definitely.

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful weekend base for sons couple of football games that happened to be in the same area. Incredibly responsive host, and probably the most immaculately clean airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Board games and card games were played and the dvds in the kids bedroom were watched. A wonderful couple of family nights spent away. Highly, highly recommended.

What an amazing place Shepley House is! We had a great family time and enjoyed the place very much. The attention to details is lovely (hamper on arrival with card, dog towels, wood for the burner, everything you can think about and need in the kitchen!). The garden and woods are beautiful and the whole place has a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. We had few questions during our stay and the communication was quick and helpful. Thank you so much to the Shepley team, we made some great memories to cherish! We recommend this place with no hesitation!

Just the best way to welcome in 2025! The house was so warm and welcoming - and the best equipped kitchen ever!!! Such a joy - felt right at home, space for the family and what a sociable kitchen/dining area. Fantastic.... Location in Heacham is great - we drove to various beaches to walk the dogs and everywhere was very accessible. Never stayed in such a dog friendly house before - even equipped with a dog shower! Lots of really thoughtful touches like covers on the sofas so we could relax and so could the pooches! Definitely recommend Holly House and hopefully we will be back!

Lovely lodge in an excellent location. The lodge was much bigger than we were expecting. The bedrooms are a great size and had so much wardrobe space. Upstairs the kitchen was big and has everything you need for cooking and has a great variety of utensils. Lovely big comfy sofas and table and chairs in the living room. The lodge would fit a big family or two families comfortably. The site is lovely with a golf course, lake and good dog walking trail. There is also a pool and spa facilities that looked lovely but they were not open when we stayed. We will definitely come back here in the summer as it’s such a lovely location/site and it would be great to use the outside balcony/patio area and BBQ facilities. Marc is a great host and sent through lots of information before the stay and was very responsive to messages. We had friends staying at the site at the same time who had a smaller lodge, they loved ours and are also going to book in the summer. Would definitely recommend booking.

We had a lovely time at Sam's home. Myself and partner stayed with our 11 month baby, 2 year old, and 3 other family members. We all agreed that the good aspects of this home were VERY good and enabled us to have a brilliant time. The garden, pool and outdoor shower were the definite highlights of the stay. Inside the house was clean and the layout and space worked well for all 7 of us. As stated above, certain features of the stay were outstanding which is why we gave it 5 stars but there are a few aspects we felt could really take it to the next level. Not being able to flush toilet paper, electric bin not working, big crack in top landing window, bizarre food left in fridge, freezer and cupboards (beetroot in fridge, cat food in cupboards), door handle broken in downstairs bedroom leading to garden, dishwasher full on arrival, blinds not rolling down/up properly etc All things that are easily sorted and would ensure the same high standard throughout.

A lovely stay, in a lovely house. Perfectly situated for being right in the middle of town, which our boys loved as the weather wasn’t great this time.. so the amusements got a fair few visits. Lovely kitchen and great for the extended family we had come with us. Christian was so accommodating with us having a young son with diabetes and travelling with insulin. Lovely welcome pack too, which was much appreciated. Thank you !

Our stay at this beautiful house made sure Christmas 2024 was wonderful! Three generations were so very comfortable, the house has everything you need and so much more! The grandson's adored the warm pool and the space the house provided. The adults loved the home from home feel, the top quality appliances in the kitchen used for Christmas lunch, the amazing facilities, the short walk round the corner to the lovely beach and the nearby pub where everyone was so welcoming! Couldn't have wished for a better stay.
