We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-equipped property. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located—close to town yet peaceful with stunning views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing. One highlight was the spa pool—a great addition to the property. However, the water felt a bit over-chlorinated, which meant we couldn’t stay in for more than 10 minutes at a time. That’s just a small detail in an otherwise perfect stay, and I’m sure it’s something that can be easily adjusted. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ohakune. It’s a wonderful spot, and we would happily return in the future!

The house is a beautiful little unit/house. All though the house is on/by main road, the unit is surrounded by quiet neighbours and across was the river. Beds are comfy and have electric blankets 🤗 Adrienne is a very kind host.

A Clean, comfortable, and quiet stay. Centred by a Beautiful solid wood dining table there was good indoor/outdoor flow in an older wooden home. Everything in working order (did not use the sauna or wood burner). Responsive and proactive host with clear instructions. Our party was sad to leave, so would stay here again.

This is an excellent place—I would say even better and more beautiful than the pictures suggest. It is modern, clean, warm, well-equipped, and really big. There were just four of us, but I think a group twice as big could be comfortable there. The spa pool was a wonderful feature. Thank you for hosting us, Lindsay!

The home was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of 3’s needs. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would reconsider if we were to visit again. Property managers were responsive, helpful and gracious. One minor issue - we felt that ‘there were too many rules’ - this didn’t take away from our overall strongly positive impression, however. Walkable distance to the town and good options for meals - The Cypress Tree and Osteria Ohakune were excellent.

Although a little hard to find initially (I didn't read ALL the instructions like what roadside sign to look out for), this turned out to be a very positive side effect because it is a very quiet location off the beaten track. Which is a great thing come night time when all the wildlife come out to play. The unit has everything you need and nothing you don't need. We could have taken a Bluetooth speaker for music but we didn't. WARNING: shower may be the most powerful ever experienced. Definitely hot. If it's just the 2 of you then this is the space for you. Just don't book it the next time we want to come back .... that would just be annoying.
