I spend a whole month, together with my dog, in this lovely serene place to write. Vezelay and its surroundings inspired me enormous and help me to unlock my creativity. The. house is cosy and has a wood stove that is so romantic. At sunny days I could use a little patio to sit in the sun. Philippe and Francois really welcomed me into their live and shared tips, friends, stories and food with me. They really took good care of me, making sure I had enough wood pellets for the wood stove. An experience I will treasure for life. Esther

We had a great time in Lirey. The accommodation is as described, very clean, well-equipped, the bedding is very comfortable and the place is very quiet and peaceful. We will not hesitate to return if we are visiting this area again.

Thanks Igor for hosting us. We had a lovely short stay at this house. nothing to complain about , because everything was compliant . a pleasure to come home in the evening and put a 33t vinyl on the turntable Igor , very responsive, gave us some good places to dine. we recommend 👌

This place is wonderful! The pictures really don’t do it justice. The pool is fabulous and the peace and quiet and the views make it the perfect spot for a relaxing break. The bedrooms were all generous sizes. The place is very rural (great for walks and runs) but that adds to its charm.

Our family stay (2 nights/7 people) in this cozy and tastefully decorated home will remain an unforgettable Christmas for us. Maelig had even taken care to arrange a nice Christmas tree and decorations in the living room. In order to allow me to organize New Year's Eve in the best possible way, Maelig agreed to give us the keys earlier in the day, and also provided us with champagne flutes. She is extremely responsive, and you can feel that she is committed to making her guests feel welcome. The little extra for me was the stove in the living room... warmth and Christmas atmosphere. Everything was perfect. Thank you very much Maelig!
