Cottage vacation rentals in Buck Lake

This cottage is absolutely gorgeous! There is so much space, with my group of 6 we didn't even get to spend time everywhere because of how much they have. There's two separate patio sets on the deck, sun room, two separate living rooms, gorgeous spacious kitchen all open concept, all right in front of a body of water with kayaks, sail boats, etc. The dock is a beautiful spot to also spend time and gaze at the stars at night. I can't recommend this spot enough.

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. Enjoy if you do book in the future!

We had an amazing stay at Caroline’s place. A very relaxing weekend getaway. The place smelled clean as soon as you walked in. The beds were so comfortable and clean. The sauna was amazing while it was snowing, very cool feature !! Has everything you need from entertainment to dishes, we finished a couple puzzles while we were there and there were tons of games and the tv has surround sounds so it was great for hockey games and movies! Would love to stay again in the summer. The description of the place was 100% accurate. Thanks for hosting us !!

A fantastic cottage in a beautiful, private location. The place has everything you need. It also offers a chance to get away and unwind — with plenty of space for friends and family to join. Westport is just down the road and worth a visit, especially the brewery. Yvonne is also a conscientious and responsive host, so you’ll be in good hands. Great host, great stay!

Second time coming staying at Sam’s. Just as magical and peaceful as before. Can’t wait to come again next year.

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

My large group enjoyed our stay. The home was comfortable and had all amenities. We were a bit confused about some of the instructions and some of our questions after arrival went unanswered but the hosts provided a lot of information ahead of time and gave great instructions for getting in. Despite receiving one of the largest snowfalls right before we arrived, we found the property access cleared and well maintained making it easy to get in.

We had a wonderful time at the LA LA Land cottage! It is really relaxing, quiet, clean, welcoming and comfortable! We are really happy we booked this cottage. The spa is great and it is close from Bon Echo National Park. The host is responding really fast and he is very helpful. We will go back!

One of the most beautiful stays with a beautiful view. We had an amazing time . The plus was the Jacuzzi overlooking the lake and the Sauna.

Thank you Scott for a great stay! Definitely a bit of a "lived in" airbnb, but it was very affordable for our group so ultimately no complaints. Tons of bedding and pillows to make our stay comfortable. so many board games and table games which was awesome for our group. Typically Airbnb's that have hot tubs, I've found to be very hit or miss. Not this one! It was very hot and worked perfectly even in the cold winter. really made for a relaxing stay as we used it everyday. Finally, Scott allowed us to bring our pet which was much appreciated, however do suggest you keep close watch. At one point our dog strayed on to the neighbor's yard and despite apologizing he threatened the dog and us if it were to happen again. Guy was unhinged so be mindful. otherwise great communication from Scott, and he even let us check out a bit later since no one else was staying that evening. Thanks Scott for the great stay! will be back again!

I'll admit, based on the reviews our expectations were high. They were exceeded in nearly every facet of our stay. We desperately needed ( election fatigue) to get away and have a week of peace, quiet, and serenity. Danielle and Jorden's home was perfect. there was not one single time while staying there that we looked for something that didn't exist. The bathrooms and kitchen are fabulous, and all are very well appointed. The radiant floors in the ensuite bath were a nice touch. The location is ideal, you are right on the lake with wonderful views from both inside and out, and despite having neighbors, it feels incredibly private. We had one small mechanical issue which Danielle took care of immediately. they were a pleasure to speak with, and their response time was always nearly immediate. The locals were incredibly friendly, the supermarket is just across the lake, and there's a nice dog park for those bringing their fur babies. We look forward to a returning to this ideal spot.

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Our stay was great! No issues whatsoever, host was accommodating and friendly, house had everything we needed, we stayed for work, so didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit with wood provided which I thought was very nice of the hosts! Water was not potable but the hosts leave you lots of drinking water, and water to make coffee!!

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was warm, inviting, and all it was advertised to be. It was exactly what we needed—a comfortable and peaceful spot to relax. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in a bit early. The personal touches really made the place feel like a home away from home. We rented this place over the long weekend and just loved it. Robert was a very response host. Everything was perfect. Very spacious place with everything you could possibly need. Very close to town, grocery store and sight seeing. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at Glenn's beautiful cottages. We were able to sleep 5 in each cottage with plenty of beds to spare. We enjoyed canoeing, swimming in the lake, grilling on the barbecue, and staying in playing board games when it rained. It would have been nice to have the hot tubs active during the rain, but we made do with the indoor jacuzzi tub! Glenn was super helpful, informative, and responsive which we all appreciated. And we loved that this was one of the only places around with a large enough kitchen table to seat everyone for a meal! Overall a very pleasant stay, highly recommended.

We immediately fell in love with Krista's charming riverfront cottage. The interior was clean, open and bright with a lovely view. My husband enjoyed making a fire in the firepit. I enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the sunshine. It was beautifully quiet and private feeling. My husband said Krista's cottage is his favorite of all the places I have ever found for us and he wants us to go back. He won't have to twist my arm.

Beautiful and peaceful location right by the lake surrounded by trees. Host was kind and responsive, cabin is older but functional and has everything you need. The view from the balcony overlooks the lake and you can enjoy your meal there or have barbecue. There is also direct access to the lake and you can use the motor boat and the canoes. We were here in the fall with our two dogs and really enjoyed the colors on the trees. Be aware that there are ticks and if you bring a dog, they absolutely need to have protection against ticks. Would recommend to those who appreciate nature and are not looking for luxury but a cozy cabin experience.

My family of 5 stayed over Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed our time at The Crescent Cottage. The location and views of the bay are spectacular. Shirley has many thoughtful touches throughout and my kids enjoyed the s’mores. We brought a boat and launched at the nearby state park and enjoyed the bay. We tried some fishing, wading in the water, and my youngest caught crayfish along the shoreline and even saw a salamander. Very quiet, friendly community and we enjoyed our morning and evening walks. On a rainy day we took a day trip to Alex Bay to take a boat tour and visit Boldt Castle. Some good wineries in the area as well (Coyote Moon in Clayton is my fav). A nice mix of old and new bring this quaint cottage its charm. Thanks, Shirley!
