Elis was very quick to respond to the questions we had. Beautiful surroundings with a view of the water and cows that grazed. Cozy bedroom perfect for the family with children. The window at the dining area was like a beautiful painting. We really enjoyed the whole family.

Super cozy and well-planned little cottage. We were two adults and three children (6, 11 and 13 years), the kids loved the cabin and the cozy sleeping alcoves. Örjan was helpful and responded quickly if needed. Would really recommend this home.

We had an amazing time on Isön! It’s a beautiful place to… relax in a wonderful wood-fired sauna on its own jetty with the most amazing lake view during sunset… or go for a hike in the nature reserve on the island right next to it… or go for a skate on the frozen lake… and so much more. The house itself is also very nice, good kitchen and a nice shared living/bedroom. And Jessica was also very nice and responsive. Can 100% recommend it.

Cozy cottage in Byskogen just 5 km from Östersund

Certainly one of our best Airbnb stays so far! Eveline went above and beyond what's required to make us feel welcome, providing very helpful local tips and anything we needed, really. It felt more like visiting a friend than staying in Airbnb. At the same time we had a nice private unit with a veranda and were never disturbed by anything there. On the contrary, it was very quiet and cozy, warm with a real fireplace. Ah yes and we saw Auroras directly above us in the backyard in their full glory! (Admittedly, we got a bit lucky there.) The place is a couple of minutes away on foot from a beautiful lake which is great for ice-skating. Besides that, there are nice back-country ski runs through the forest that are reachable. We traveled everywhere by public transport (mainly bus) and while connections to and within the city are fine, going elsewhere required planning as buses are infrequent. A car would be more convenient, but in the winter one should be prepared to drive on snow/ice.

This was the best Airbnb on our trip. We would have loved to stay even longer. The place was perfectly clean and organized. We felt at home from the first time entering the house. Sune is a very nice host, he gave us detailted instructions and was always there for questions. Our personal highlights were the hot tub outside in the snow and renting the snow mobile to explore the area. I can without a doubt recommend this Airbnb to anyone travelling to the Östersund & Åre region. There is not a single thing I would change, we had an amazing time.

Wonderful stay at Inger's place. The place was very nice and the surroundings surrounded by nature quite what we needed. Inger and her husband were adorable with recommendations and always attentive. Many activities in the area. It was a lovely stay.

Family friendly house with amazing views

We stayed there for two months early 2024 and had an absolutely amazing time. The home is spartanly decorated with no TV or dishwasher but the price matched expectations and all the conditions were honestly described. We arrived at made beds which was a great bonus that we had not counted on. Both Robin and Signe are absolutely great to deal with. Very professional, friendly and helpful. We felt very safe and well taken care of. We'd love to come back in the future :)

Cottage paradise with sauna and barbecue area!

We spontaneously asked Robin and immediately we were able to make our way to his great cabin. The location is incredibly beautiful, were there in the snowy winter and enjoyed the hot oven. The sauna on the terrace with a mega overview of the infinitely large lake was impressive and you were able to enjoy the sauna so intensively. The cooling in the snow was so nice. The tranquility in the 3 days was fantastic, you could fully enjoy the nature around you. A walk on the Great Frozen Lake was a great experience. We didn't miss anything about the amenities, the bed was super comfortable and the sofa by the oven invited you to linger. We would love to come back! Thanks to Robin, who was always available for questions.

Easy to sleep one night on the way to the sports holiday, we were happy to easily check in a little later (at 8 pm) and sleep well after a long drive. Everything worked fine in the cabin and we were extra happy with the comfortable bed. Everything was exactly as in the pictures, we are very satisfied.
