Raven's Crossing - Kate's Cottage

CaitlinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. Thanks Lori!
The charming exterior of a historic farmhouse is captured, featuring white clapboard siding and dark green shutters. A bold red door serves as a focal point, framed by small manicured bushes. Lush green grass surrounds the entrance, contributing to a welcoming outdoor atmosphere.

Latham Blueberry Farm for up to 6 guests.

AshleyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Latham blueberry farm. Doug and Brenda were incredibly helpful and friendly- they introduced us to the house and farm as soon as we checked in and were always available if needed. The beds were comfy, the kitchenette stocked, and the grounds were gorgeous. Their beautiful 1826 farm house was an authentic experience of staying on a farm- our kids loved feeding the animals (especially Ernie the pig and Moses the horse); picking fresh blueberries; and swimming and paddleboating in the private pond. Our hosts had great recommendations for local outings, and we loved chatting with them and playing with their puppy Jackie. Our family made lifetime memories.

Chalet Central

AndreanaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Very cozy home! The place is exactly as the pictures show. Also the couch in the living room is super comfy, great place for a nap. The nearby gas station and grocery store is convenient for anything you might need and Bangor is not a far drive for some good local restaurants. Overall great place. Would stay here again. Dwayne even came out and plowed the driveway himself so we could get out safely after some heavy snow falls!
A calm bay scene captures a historic shipwreck on the left, framed by leafy trees. The water reflects a soft sunset palette of pink and orange hues, blending into a serene horizon, while a sandy beach leads to the gentle shoreline.

Waterfront Loft w/ Bold Ocean Views

LiaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had an amazing stay here! The loft was spacious and comfortable. The property was gorgeous - we went down to the beach area for a sunrise which was lovely! It was a quick drive to the main area of Lincolnville and to Camden which were both really cute. Lots of great food in the area too - Kate gave some great restaurant recommendations! Would definitely return to this Airbnb if we visit the area again!!

Raven's Crossing - Retreat Cottage

EllaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Lori’s place twice during warm months in Kate’s cottage and finally got brave enough to check it out in a winter and stay in a Retreat cabin. The cabin was warm upon our arrival and wood stove was going. We had a thermos with hot tea and our dinner that could be enjoyable at the room temperature with us. The place has no electricity but there are plenty of candles. The sauna was nice and hot as usual and a mattress was comfortable. Next morning Lori delivered a hot tasty breakfast to our cabin. The weather was perfect, the moon shone bright at night and made our short trips to the outhouse almost enjoyable. It was an unusual stay for us, we don’t do off-grid in winter; just wanted the sauna- snow combination. No regrets. Thank you, Lori!

Becka's farm is everything as described except better. Excellent location, easy to find, easy entry and it was the best stocked abnb I have ever stayed at, it had everything you could possibly need and better yet everything you may have forgotten. Would for sure recommend and we will be back with the Mother-in-Law in the Spring.

Bungalhigh with Swimming Cove

JillRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This was such a delightful, peaceful & beautiful place to stay. Shelby was extremely responsive & helpful. I appreciated that she went the extra mile to alert me to the Aurora Borealis & encourage me to see it from the point. When the power went out b/c of a local car accident, she kept me updated with information about cause & when power was expected to return & provided flashlights & a special battery powered lightbulb to provide light. I couldn't have asked for more!

Plovers Cottage, Waterfront

SierraRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This was hands down the best place we have ever stayed both on AirBnB and through other platforms. Mark & Kathy were so incredibly kind. The house is private with stunning water views and so clean and comfortable. The home was truly amazing. I can’t say enough about this place and the hosts. Everything was perfect and while we typically go somewhere new every travel, this has us already thinking about coming back just to enjoy it again! It’s close to Acadia though with how busy Acadia is I recommend visiting Schoodic Peninsula and the other preserves in the area. Sunset here was spectacular.

Aaron's place was fantastic for our party of 6 (my partner and me, our kids, her parents). The house was located perfectly on the North end of Mt. Desert Island by Hadley Point Beach (where we were lucky to catch both a meteor shower and the Northern Lights.) While the lower level had a separate entrance, the kids appreciated the additional privacy/area away from adults. The entire house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. All of the amenities (well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, washer/dryer, patio) were much appreciated. We'd definitely stay again when visiting Acadia.

Large private area, close to Rockland

RachelRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We found the home clean and welcoming. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed the back deck very much. The kitchen was well equipped and although we did not do any cooking, if we had, everything was there for us. We really liked how private the home was. Had the weather been warmer we definitely would have checked out the pool. It is also very close to Thomaston, Rockland and Owls Head. So much to do in this area. We would recommend this home to anyone who wants a quiet retreat in Maine that is close to the coast.
An outdoor pool area is framed by a wooden fence, featuring several white lounge chairs and small tables under umbrellas. A building with dark siding is visible in the background, complemented by surrounding greenery and an American flag gently waving overhead.

Western Way Townhouse Village of Southwest Harbor

GreggRating, 5 stars31 months ago
We have a family of 5 and This was our First time in Acadia. This is Really a magical place. We are in the mid atlantic and we flew into Bangor airport which was easy and worth it. This condo was an excellent location for our family as we enjoyed the quiet side of bar harbor. Lot of under rated things to do on this harbor. The owners were very responsive and have everything we needed at the house. The house was set up well with an open plan and several decks to look out to southwest harbor. The space has all you need and the kitchen was equipped to cook your own meals. I highly recommend cooking or eating at home during the peak summer tourist dates as it is way over priced and also our experience most restaurants/ places were just over rated. I dont often write reviews but we liked the location, property, and the owners enough that i felt compelled to do so.
The exterior of a light-colored house is shown, featuring a sloped roof and multiple windows. Lush green grass surrounds the building, which is accented by neatly arranged shrubs and flowering plants. A bicycle is spotted against the wall, adding to the quaint atmosphere.

Shore Cottage - Newly Renovated

AndrewRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Bautiful waterfront cottage close to downtown Belfast. We come to Belfast annually and it's always a struggle to find a waterfront cottage that is pet friendly. We chose this location because we don't vacation without our four-legged companion, Benji the Belgium Malinois. The location was great; at low tide we could walk on the beach and Benji could run. It felt very private here despite being on the hotel grounds. it was also nice to be able to use the hotel sauna and pool. The hotel itself is a bit out-dated, but the cottage was furnished in modern style. At night we played board games. We always enjoy a fresh lobster from Young's which was right down the road. We will likely stay here again.
