House vacation rentals in British Isles

This was the second time we have stayed as a family at Graham's house when visiting Suffolk, and it was just as comfortable and welcoming as the first time. Graham was a great host who was able to accommodate our requested dates and offered a flexible check-in. The house is really well equipped and clean and in a lovely location with a lot of character. The beds are very comfy too, and we really valued the treats on arrival to toast the New Year - thank you so much - would highly recommend staying here!

We were a group of 15 friends and family - adults, teenagers and children - celebrating new year together. The property suited us perfectly and had everything we needed for a great few days. The location is excellent for the Jurassic coast beaches and Lyme Regis.

Just fabulous! Beautiful property in a Perfect spot. Emily most welcoming & there to greet us. Extremely comfy beds! Our only complaint is we wished to have booked more then one night ! The pool looked amazing - we will just have to come back in the Summer! Highly recommend

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

We spent 3 nights at this house with extended family members. We ranged in age from 4 -54 and we all had a great time. The house was immaculate and we had no faults. Plenty of space if you needed 5 minutes alone it was amazing. We will definitely be back. Kris was very friendly and explained everything, thanks kris

The house was easy to find and provided a lovely social space for our family to get together. The property was clean and there was a lovely welcome hamper. The house is very well equipped and beds were comfortable. The pool and steam room were wonderful. The property is in a peaceful location but good walks from it and plenty to do in the local area. We really enjoyed our time in the property and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We really loved our stay, which we booked at short notice at the weekend, so were delighted that it was made possible. Thank you for having us!

Had a fantastic stay with a group of friends over the weekend! Views out of this world. So calm, peaceful and relaxing! Incredible for stargazing at night, beautiful view of the Skelligs and Derrynane Bay. Great walks and scenery and friendly locals. Brilliant kayaking experience facilitated by neighbour Noel. Mark was very responsive. We had an issue on New Year’s Day which was addressed very quickly, and fairly dealt with subsequently. Great location and great fun.

We stayed in the house for a weekend and enjoyed it immensely. Friendly and clear communication from the time of booking. Very nice video with useful tips for the cottage. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival with explanations about the last things. All amenities were provided and upon arrival there were even some treats with the coffee! A lovely spacious house with a really great garden for the children to play in and also super furnished inside such as a play area, high chairs and stair gate! In short, it is highly recommended!

A lovely property, home from home and the host was so informative and answered any questions I had. The location was perfect for our needs and very quiet. The welcome hamper was really nice and attention to detail in all areas was very evident with nice touch’s and fragrances made the home feel clean and comfortable. Pool table and games consoles make it a stand out location for all ages to enjoy when in the house. Heating was great though the house as we had some very cold days on our stay. Hot tub and gardens well presented too and not over looked. We collectively as a family have said we will return to this property next year in the warmer months for a longer stay. Honestly, what's not to love about this place? Upon arrival, we were surprised at how spacious the entire house was. It was well presented and homely with all the furniture and appliances one would need for a comfortable stay. As someone who loves to cook, I was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was. The garden is beautiful and offered plenty of privacy. We even caught glimpse of a rabbit making its way around! Perranuthnoe Beach is just a few minutes drive away, a great spot to run the dogs when the tide is out. Be sure to check this! The Tipsy Crab Cafe offered stunning views to sit and have a cuppa after a walk along the beach. There is a pretty little church, 5 minutes walk down the road. Well worth the visit, if that's your thing. Valerie provided us with a welcome pack of Eggs, milk, butter, bread and juice - this felt very generous indeed and a very nice touch. There was honestly nothing negative we can say about our stay. Thank you Valerie!

We had a fab time over New Year and loved the local area, especially Chester. Jacob was an ace host and super responsive to an issue we had (someone was round in less than 30 minutes!!). Highly recommended!

From Start to Finish Paul was the perfect host, could not do enough for us making sure that the log burners were lit every morning for us - hosting he was great fun and even joined in our activities. Paul has a great place here - you just have to realise that there is no kitchen in the main house but that did not bother us as we spent most of the time up in the area by the Hot Tub which had fantastic kitchen, games, karaoke, bar facilities - thank you Paul you made a great weekend even better !

Johanna’s place is lovely, in a quiet neighbourhood and is in a very convenient location, she is a great host who catered to my last minute request, highly recommend!

This was our second time staying in Camm house. Once again a perfect stay, a real home from home. Lee and Sarah gave good instructions and were easily contactable, thank you for a fantastic stay again!! The house has everything required for your stay, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a spacious living and dining area. We had 8 people and a small dog staying for the week, the house still felt spacious. Just a fairly short walk to the town and beach, which has a fantastic stretch of sand, and some good bars!!

Stayed with family for a trip to Warner bros studio tour and to visit central London. Great location for both. Short drive to Warner bros and walkable to train station for easy access to central London. The property was well equipped and spotless. Host left really clear info and instruction and offered lots of info about the property and made themselves easily available to contact.
