House vacation rentals in British Isles

This was the second time we have stayed as a family at Graham's house when visiting Suffolk, and it was just as comfortable and welcoming as the first time. Graham was a great host who was able to accommodate our requested dates and offered a flexible check-in. The house is really well equipped and clean and in a lovely location with a lot of character. The beds are very comfy too, and we really valued the treats on arrival to toast the New Year - thank you so much - would highly recommend staying here!

We were a group of 15 friends and family - adults, teenagers and children - celebrating new year together. The property suited us perfectly and had everything we needed for a great few days. The location is excellent for the Jurassic coast beaches and Lyme Regis.

The house was extremely beautiful. We were there for a girls staycation and felt very safe and homely. The host was extremely kind and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at the barn this November. Michelle was a great communicator for any questions I had which made the whole process effortless. The owners are lovely and the barn exactly as described. Hoping to return in the Summer to be able to take advantage of the pool.

We spent 3 nights at this house with extended family members. We ranged in age from 4 -54 and we all had a great time. The house was immaculate and we had no faults. Plenty of space if you needed 5 minutes alone it was amazing. We will definitely be back. Kris was very friendly and explained everything, thanks kris

Had an amazing stay for my Mums birthday, the spa complex was incredible and definitely made the trip! Comfy beds and the bath and shower was incredible. Thank you so much for letting us stay - the dog enjoyed the beach only 20 mins away as well!!

Amazing! Aurelien’s Airbnb was 5*! Large and spacious, for two people we had plenty of space and many amenities to enjoy. We arrived much later than expected and Aurelien very kindly provided photos and detailed instructions so we arrived safely even in the dark. I have already recommended this location to friends and colleagues and really hope to stay here again! I would say this location is best enjoyed with a car - the secure and private parking on site makes driving here a great experience.

only a few % of the population ever get to experance the "Millionaire Lyfestyle" for real, so Mill Cottage Pool House offered us a rare glimpse into another side of life Yes, this may once have been G M,s get a way home, but if you were blinkered enough not to know that, you could spend some tranquil hours exploring a very beautiful arcititle English village and be none the wiser, and I guess that was some of the attraction of Goring to George. The Pool House is a self contained building that is both secluded and open at the same time by virtue of the floor to ceiling windows that run along the front of the building. we spent time just watching the wildlife and listening to music. Abi gave us an introductory tour when we arrived, and we were left alone to enjoy our stay. walks down the river, evening meal in the pub..make sure you book "George's table" and a browse around the local shops topped off a very restful couple of days. highly recommend, lovely hosts, we will be back.

On arrival the house was homely and perfect for a family gathering. The open fire and massive dining table were a real bonus! Very well equipped with some lovely personal touches. It was too cold to make the most of the outdoor space but we will be back in the summer for sure.

We had a great pet friendly stay at Dermot’s cottage. Very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Dermot called in just after our arrival to demonstrate heating etc, friendly and helpful. Cosy living room and bedrooms, comfortable beds too! The enclosed back garden was great for our dog and table and chairs there for summer bbqs etc loved it, thanks Dermot.

Perfect family retreat! All bedrooms are spacious and ideal. Would definitely stay again and 100% recommend

We stayed at The Old Bakery for a family get together over the Christmas week, there were 8 adults. Frances was really accommodating and put in an extra fridge for us, which was really useful. The cottage was always cosy and warm with enough firewood for us to use the wood burner every evening which gave it an extra festive and warm vibe. Always hot water in baths and showers. Fantastic amount of pots and pans to cook for 8 - including our Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. Lovely quiet location so a real getaway! The Old Bakery is a really warm and friendly cottage, we had a very happy time!

Incredibly beautiful, matched the descriptions and photographs. Tracey gave great directions and loads of tips of things to do. It was so peaceful, only the sound of the waves and the odd sheep. Wholeheartedly recommend it!

The house was very very nice and pretty large which we needed and in a superb location. Very nice quiet street but also very close to Church Street and all its amen. The kids playroom basement was a real bonus for our kids. Kaz was very friendly and really helped us out by letting us drop our 4 suitcases when we arrived in Stoke Newington otherwise we would have had an awkward few hours! She also let us move into the house early which was also very appreciated. Overall it was probably our best Airbnb experience to date.

Great cozy place with an amazing view. We felt ‘at home’ from the moment we entered the house. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant stay with the family discovering the Opal Coast. The location of the listing is ideal and located in a peaceful area. Very warm welcome from the owners.

we really enjoyed our stay, place was lovely and clean. The girls were pleased with the hot tub and everything else, I would love to book again.

I stayed at Sonia’s house with a group of friends. We were 6 adults and 5 children aged 3 to 7. The house was perfect and I actually think the photos don’t quite do it justice. There is plenty of space for the children and adults to do their own thing but also come together. Reception spaces were so cosy with lots of space and made a great cinema room or snug, depending what mood you’re in. Bedrooms were all a great size and and beds were so comfortable! Sonia is a great host. Very responsive, kind and helpful. We have already said, we will be back as it’s such a great house for a gathering with friends.

Had a great time a Louis's place. went 7 friends and all was as expected. good communication, we had no problems and Louis was very good at accommodating our needs. Would recommend.

Thank you Paul, Sandra & Sam for a wonderful stay at Mistletoe Farm to celebrate my Mum’s 60th birthday. Everything was exactly as we hoped and more! The bar, garden kitchen and party room were fantastic areas. We loved the hot tub, karaoke, log burner and twinkly lights! The Somerset evening was brilliant - welly wanging was so much fun and we all really enjoyed the cider tasting and hog roast. Thank you so much for catering for the non-drinkers and veggies in the group! Paul was always available on his phone if we needed assistance, and always made sure we were warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed spending time in the kitchen and living area in the annexe - this is a really cosy spot. The surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk to Hornsbury Mill nearby. We would also recommend the 5 dials pub which is a 5 minute drive away - really lovely food, good service and a great atmosphere. The guests ages ranged from 2 to 80+ and everyone had a fantastic time! 🥳🎉

we had a great stay in Lisa's place it was perfect for our few days in Brugge between Christmas and New Year. Super close to the city center which is a must for those going to see the sights but more importantly when we were at the place it was perfect for our family of 5. plenty of space, comfortable beds and the table football kept us busy for hours!! Lisa was great host, really proactive and great communication. would highly recommend!!!

With 4 beer lovers we were looking for a place where we could stay quietly but which was also not far from the village where we could get fresh bread in the morning and drink a pint in the evening. It is beautiful place with enough space to stay cozy. We were able to visit various breweries both locally of fame and world-famous from here. A winter barque was also possible and due to Isabelle's cheerful and warm welcome we felt right at home.

Love staying at the property very clean and had everything we needed and more will be staying again
