Family-friendly vacation rentals in Brimbank City

We had a fantastic stay at Alix and Taj's property! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly maintained. Alix and Taj were wonderful hosts—helpful, friendly, and responsive. We loved the thoughtful touches like hotel-style bathroom products, fresh milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and even ramen (a big hit with the kids!). There were plenty of towels, adding to the comfort. The building lobby had a beautiful perfume—we even asked the concierge about it, though they didn’t know the scent. The location is unbeatable, with Southbank attractions nearby and easy access to public transport. We stayed over New Year’s and enjoyed a stunning view of the fireworks from The Shrine Celebration Zone—an unforgettable highlight! Highly recommend staying here, and we’d love to return. A lovely, shaded, fully equipped apartment with all amenities for a comfortable stay, and close to public transport. In the apartment there was plenty of information on the surrounding area, places of interest and visit. The apartment is located on the first floor of the building with two small flights of stares to negotiate to access. There isn't a lift which could be an issue for some. Anne was very helpful and responsive to any questions and proactive in ensuring that we were happy with everything. She was also very flexible with entry and exit times which helped us immensely. We could not have wished for a better host.

Place was cozy and really nice. Location was the best, we walked outside and the tram station is right there with trams leaving every 5 min to the city. There is a woolies nearby which is good for supplies. Would recommend for couples or people going solo.

We had a fabulous stay at the apartment for our 3 generation family celebrations. The apartment is very comfortable and beautifully appointed and was brilliant for our family of 7. It is well situated in Southbank, the Australian Open tennis at Melbourne Park, the National Gallery Victoria for the Kusama exhibition, the Arts Centre for the Penn &Teller show, all within walking distance. Kate was very helpful and always responded promptly to emails and was proactive in promptly dealing with any issues. The wifi was excellent and welcome snacks much appreciated. We had an amazing stay at Freshwater. The apartment was great, incredible views and the location is perfect. Colin was a great host- he met us at the property to check in, showed us up to the apartment, was super friendly, informative and accommodating! Will definitely stay again in the future!

My girlfriends and I booked Charlotte's place for a week and absolutely loved our stay. The garden is just gorgeous, and we loved the easy indoor/outdoor flow from the large living area. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfy and the kitchen is very well equipped. It was also a big bonus having two bathrooms. The local speciality supermarket is amazing - make sure you check out the deli section! With great coffee only a one minute walk away and the tramline close by we found being here so relaxing and easy. A definite must-stay if you're heading to Melbourne.

I would stay again, great location. You have a Coles just around the corner plus all the shops you could dream of close by. Tram stop just a block away to get you into the city. Parking I had luck going up Victoria onto Chapel st and there’s 4hr parking there. 5 min walk away. I got a spot there daily.

If I had to use one word to describe our stay it would be generous: Thank you so much for allowing us to use your lovely house as our base: It's gorgeous, roomy and homely. It's also well placed for getting around Melbourne. Griselda is also the most generous and responsive of hosts with lots of supplies for us when we arrived that were most were most welcome. The house is also very generous with all the space and things that make it feel like home. The house is much bigger than it appears on the photographs and has lots of different living areas internally and externally. We couldn't have been happier during our time here. It really was a home away from home for the weeks we have stayed. Thanks again and lovely to have visited:-))

Reasonable value for 4 pax for one night. Definitely worth staying again.

The accommodation is perfect, very spacious and comfortable, well equipped with all you need. Location is perfect, easy walk to cafes, restaurants, beach and tram. We highly recommend this place.

This house is gorgeous with a very cosy & relaxed vibe. Fantastic location, walking distance to lots of cafe's, restaurants, bars and parkland. Kali is exceptional as a host, friendly, knowledgeable & excellent communication.

Such a great house for a family to stay in. Open space was ideal, lounge and kitchen perfect for all of us being together. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Can’t fault the house at all, hope we stay again in the future!

Very nice apartment, well fitted out and in a handy location for St Kilda. Lots of local bars, cafes and restaurants. Quiet apartment considering busy location. Geri was very helpful. Would definitely return for another stay.

Great location with luxury amenities at a good price, especially over NYE. Views hard to beat. Kids loved the pool near the top of the building. Would definitely stay again.

It was a great location, close to everything especially the trams. The unit was clean and comfortable. We were very happy with its location and easy access to everything. It suited the purpose of our trip to Melbourne.

We absolutely loved our stay in Southbank. An absolute gem location wise with beautiful night views of the city. Close to restaurants, Woolworths underneath the complex and trams close by. Lots to do within walking distance. Yi's communication was brilliant and she even helped organise a later check-in with the concierge as well as other requests. We are already planning our next stay. Great location, 300m from tram, 500m from train station. Clean, quiet, super comfy bed, toiletries were a nice touch which made the place feel more luxurious, outstanding communication - best I’ve ever had with an airbnb host. Great place to stay as a solo traveller or a couple.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts along with Ollie (dog). We had two grandsons staying, along with their parents all of whom found the games and pool a great distraction from their electronic devices. Plenty of crockery and cutlery and bathroom essentials. Linen and pillows along with comfortable beds added to our wonderful stay. Location to restaurants and walking trails atpour doorstep.

The view is amazing and the place is in the centre of everything. It is clean and cozy, just the microwave location is not ideal as too high to reach and no tea towel to dry dishes but that's the dishwasher is for as well.
