Cottage vacation rentals in Bridgwater

I stayed at poppy’s with my sister and two other friends. The cottage was perfect for our little break- beautifully decorated, lovely log burner. The hot tub was amazing and the fairy lights around the garden made it feel really special. Robes provided as well as bathroom towels and towels to take out to hot tub. Bathroom was lovely as was kitchen. Nice pubs/restaurants nearby as well as countryside walks. Last lovely touch was Prosecco, milk and chocolates in the fridge for us!

Absolutely loved our stay at Dovecote, the photos are lovely but the place is beautiful in real life. Kayleigh was just at the end of a message and very helpful. check in was really easy. we always think it's a good sign when there is milk available on arrival for a cup of tea after a long drive too! a few minor things could make things a little easier, oven gloves (ouch), instructions for oven and hot tub and standard tv apps on the TV (itv & 4 on demand). these are only minor and my personal opinion which has not put me off as we really look forward to booking again to come in the summer! Thank you for making my birthday weekend getaway a really lovely, relaxing time!

A beautiful home with a stunning view. It was lovely and warm and comfortable, with space for relaxation and games. We went on some lovely walks. The hot tub was also great! Highly recommend.

Great property, exactly as described - cosy, with everything you need (and more!) and in a great location for local amenities. Above everything else, Joy's communication is brilliant, from the moment of booking and throughout our stay, which helped to ensure a perfect break for us. A truly exceptional host.

Sweetings Barton is a beautiful property in a stunning location. Helen and Paul were wonderful hosts. We arrived to some lovely goodies that they left us. The hot tub is a great way to relax in the evening. We would definitely return.

Had the most beautiful and peaceful stay here. The property is true to the pictures if anything it is better. The bed is comfy, and the surroundings are perfectly quiet for a fab night sleep. As well, the property is spotless, comes equipped with the right amount of amenities like pots and pans, baking trays etc which a lot of other property’s seem to forget. Nothing was missing! The hot tub really makes the stay as it faces onto the fields surrounding the property, such a focal point! Linsey was on hand to answer any questions, a fabulous host. Must recommend purchasing a jar of the honey made on the farm!

Absolutely loved it here! Great communication throughout. Fantastic house and location, spotlessly clean, very homely, great facilities ie.. pool table cinema room jacuzzi, table tennis , park for the kids - all ages loved it - Can’t wait to return - fabulous

We had a wonderful stay at Timbercombe Lodge. We especially loved the big hot tub which was immaculately clean, as was the rest of the house, and the coffee machine! The beds were comfy and the house well provisioned with everything we needed for our stay, and more. We met Dan, the gardener, who was super friendly and kind, and Iveta was also very kind and generous in her messages. Thank you again for a fab time.

A clean, well stocked and charming cottage. Carol was excellent at responding to any query and very accommodating when our plans changed slightly. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch too, and my daughter and her children thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Thank you, Carol.

We spent a lovely couple of nights at Chris and Freya's cottage which is as described with a homely feel and beautiful views. Sadly we were hampered a little by storm Bert so didn't get a chance to visit the farm but nonetheless thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you're travelling from London Stourhead is a great stop!

A really lovely cosy little cottage, very comfortable and well equipped with beautiful surroundings. Tulip the dog came to greet us one morning and was super cute and friendly! Peter and Sue were lovely too. Would highly recommend!

The cottage was a few minutes drive from the beach and also close to enjoyable places to eat. All the facilities we needed and despite the cold weather outside, we were nice and warm inside. An excellent fenced off garden for our dog who thoroughly enjoyed his stay here, as did we, Thank you, Bryn.

Stunning countryside, warm and welcome cottage, great facilities, fireplace, kitchen living rooms all neat and warm design. Great beds, wonderfull bathing towels bath and shower. Super to have stayed in the garden cottage for the second time. Thanks everybody!!

We had a great stay at Owls we were beteen homes and so needed somewhere to stay. Ben and family were welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble including providing fresh bedding as we were staying for more than 2 weeks. We had our own hot tub which we did take advantage of. We would recommend it for any kind of stay. Thank you Nicky and Noel xx

Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway - perfect location, relaxing and beautiful surroundings and everything at the cottage you could possibly need. It enabled us to totally switch off for 5 days over Christmas and was exactly what we needed - thank you so much, 10/10 host and pure bliss

I was visiting with my friend and her two year old daughter and Lucy-Ann could not have made the cottage any more comfortable for us, the toys in the child’s room were perfect. It was New Year’s Eve while we were there and the decorations around the cottage were so beautiful and festive. There was even a welcome basket with all the ingredients for a festive cocktail (which was delicious!) The kitchen is so well equipped and clean. The bathroom was spotless and the beds comfortable. At one point we managed to lock ourselves out and Lucy-Ann was so kind and quick to get us back inside - which we greatly appreciated! I would highly recommend this cottage and we would definitely want to book again in the future.

Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough. We stayed here over New Year’s Eve and it was the perfect getaway. The views from the house are stunning and we felt right at home. We will definitely be back in the summer!

A home away from home. Scrumpy Cottage is an incredibly cosy, truely English experience. Our stay was in the middle of winter and the cottage was warm and welcoming on arrival. The cottage was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. I must mention the linen was amazing. The most fluffy and warm duvet I have ever experienced. We ate at the New Inn close by and visited Perry Cider. We stayed at Penelope’s place for two nights and wished that we could stay longer! It felt very cosy and held by the surrounding valley… the cob walls were a treat and the luxurious, large log burner and bed! Our 20 month old son loved the Christmas tree, jumping on the bed and being able to run around the garden ☀️ thank you for a lovely stay! We would love to come back one day.

A perfect spot in the countryside easily located between Taunton and Minehead. This cosy cottage met all our needs, and Linda was a thoughtful but unobtrusive host. It made a wonderful spot to spend Christmas with a local pub, a carol service and panto on the doorstep. We’d definitely book again.

My daughter and I had a super enjoyable stay with Wendy. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated inside. One of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in, as it was so well equipped inside, everything had been thoroughly considered. Wendy was super lovely and welcoming, also very helpful. Although we are super local it felt like a special treat to stay for the weekend. It’s a great spot to stay in, peaceful and beautiful countryside.
