House vacation rentals in Breckland District

This was the second time we have stayed as a family at Graham's house when visiting Suffolk, and it was just as comfortable and welcoming as the first time. Graham was a great host who was able to accommodate our requested dates and offered a flexible check-in. The house is really well equipped and clean and in a lovely location with a lot of character. The beds are very comfy too, and we really valued the treats on arrival to toast the New Year - thank you so much - would highly recommend staying here!

We’ve just arrived home after a 2 night stay at James’s place. Very comfortable and well equipped. James kindly let us check in early as it was cleaned and ready for us. Nice and quiet area and lovely warm indoor pool. There is a pub opposite where everyone was very friendly and darts and pool is free. We had fish and chips delivered from Oulton Road fish and chip shop and they were amazing. I would recommend and definitely stay again.

Perfect accommodation for the Family. Busy but not rushed. Swimming pool a fantastic bonus. Grandchildren and myself swam every day. Other adults enjoyed the sauna as well. Didn't travel far from our home to get there but had such a brilliant time it could have been anywhere. Dogs loved the garden and beach. We absolutely loved our stay in Augusta Dreams, absolutely beautiful lodge, set in an idylic spot overlooking the lake and golf course! We arrived on the friday to a welcome bottle of bubbly in the fridge, we cooked in the lodge that evening and our friends arrived on the Saturday, we had breakfast in the lodge and ate out at The Barn and The Dabbling Duck for the other 2 evenings very lovely, we visited Worzals Garden Centre, Bar and Grill on the Monday and the boys played golf as the course was shut over the weekend due to the weather!! Our friends were just as impressed with the lodge and vista!! Everything we needed was catered for!! The lodge is incredibly spacious, private and very tranquil, even during "Storm Bert", we barely noticed the wind for most of the stay, only the strong gusts were noticeble really!! Marc was very quick in responding to any queries and sharing information!! Thanks again Marc, we look forward to another stay soon!! Nikki, Bri, Kay and Paul from Essex.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

We had a lovely few days in Tern Cottage, which was just the right size for us with two small kids. Having the cot, highchair, booster seat etc provided made it all very easy and the kids loved the garden, the games room and the pool. Lynne and John were very helpful whenever we needed them. The weather was freezing but we still enjoyed active mornings on Holkham Beach and at Pensthorpe Park, as well as lots of indoor cosy play time. The nearby farm shop is great, various supermarkets deliver, and we found a fabulous restaurant called Flour in Wells-by-the-Sea for our last evening. Hope to return in warmer weather with friends/family in the other cottages - it’s the perfect setting for groups who want a mix of together/alone time.

Wonderful house in great location. Dunwich and surrounding area is one of our favourite places and this is a perfect house. Very close to the great Ship pub and the sea. House beautifully laid out and decorated. Great to have the two sitting rooms. Lots of room for eight of us. Kitchen really well equipped and lovely to eat in. Views from top front bedrooms over the marches to the sea really wonderful - saw deer and kestrel every day. Great garden for summertime- a bit cold in January! Certainly one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in

We loved our stay at Kristel’s place. It’s all tastefully decorated, everything looked brand new. The house is very comfortable and felt very homely. We loved being close to everything in Wells but at the same time tucked away a little making the surroundings very peaceful. Welcome pack and toiletries are a very nice touch. Very convenient to have private parking space as well. Kristel was very helpful and quickly responded to any questions we’ve had.

We had a fantastic four night stay. The property is very easy to find and the check in instructions very clear and easy. There was a beautiful lemon drizzle cake and some lovely apple juice waiting for us on arrival which was much appreciated and enjoyed by everyone. There were 7 of us but the property is very spacious and laid out in such a way that we never felt on top of each other. It is also extremely cosy and welcoming. When we ate in we could all fit round the table comfortably and when we sat down in the evening to relax there was ample room for everyone to be comfortable. This is probably the best equipped Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The range of crockery, glasses, pots and pans etc is enormous and there was nothing we needed that we didn’t find. Frances is a very responsive, friendly and efficient host and we would love to return in the future.

Our 4th stay here and loved it once again! Perfect location to enjoy this incredible part of the country. House is great as always and Sophie was on hand to help when needed. Already booked to come back later this year!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Marcus ensured we were very well informed before arrival providing a guest book with comprehensive information and recommendations. We were greeted with bottles of wine & the house was very warm & music sound system set up. The barn is absolutely beautiful & immaculate. It is in a very remote area but this suited us all as we were happy to stay in and enjoy it. The log burner, games room & hot tub were added bonuses. A big thank you to Marcus for a truly amazing weekend break away with good friends ❤️

The cottage was more than we expected, all of it!! We felt at home as soon as we walked in - thank you so much Cate & for the very generous treats - flowers, chocolates plus bread, butter & milk - how lovely is that?! Our dog Winnie LOVED the garden & as the weather was so gorgeous we even managed a G&T on the patio - at the beginning of March!! Cate also kindly held onto one of our forgotten bags until we returned to get it a few hours later 🙈🙈

Very cosy home even though it was freezing outside we felt very comfortable and the house was lovely and warm. Great location and we will return when it warms up as we have family who live close by. Exactly as it looks in the pictures.

Anne’s place is the perfect home from home, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. You have everything you need and more to be fair. Hot tub in the garden, we travelled with our dog and she had a secure garden area at the rear. Highly recommend this house for those looking to have a relaxing place to stay.

The house was even better than the pictures, so inviting and easy to settle straight in and begin to relax and explore the lovely village of Holt. Super clean, cosy, very well equipped kitchen, beautiful clean white bedding and such style throughout the house. I was in love with their radiators! ;) We only had two nights, so the ease of the stay was wonderful. All the extra touches really made it wonderful, the scrumptious cake and fizz on arrival, the local hand and dish soap and the cute pillows on the bed with the house's name to name just a few. Communication from Scott was first class with tons of helpful information on the area, plenty to dive in to and start enjoying our stay. We loved our mini vacation, it broke up half term perfectly and would love to stay at Parva House again one day - with more nights next time ;)

The house was amazing in person. The photos don’t do it justice. Luke was very welcoming and accommodating as well. Extremely clean and spacious house to spend time with family, celebrate, or just relax. There was beautiful weather so the views were top notch! We would definitely book again in the future. Highly Recommend!

Stayed at this Airbnb for my 20th birthday celebration. The house was very spacious and cosy, the place was nice and clean and all instructions were clear.

We recently stayed here and it was a great spot for a peaceful getaway with friends. The house was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The outdoor space has potential if you are lucky to have good weather as you can spend evenings chatting or just lounging around on Jacuzzi and BBQ.

We had a fantastic stay here, the location was perfect for our new years break. The house was just want we were looking for as a group of 14 with 2 dogs. There was a pub, shop & cafe directly across the road which were all very nice. The space downstairs in the house is ideal for a group as you can all socialise together & we even cooked a large roast dinner on New Year’s Day in the kitchen, which worked out really well as the kitchen had everything that we needed & the dining area meant we were all together. The house is just a few minutes away from the beach with some lovely walk’s & fantastic views. We would 100% recommend this house & location. The communication I received before, during & after our stay was also most appreciated & personable with helpful instructions for check in, what not to forget & tips to make our stay the best it could be, Thankyou June!
