We found the house very nice,it is nicely decorated. In the kitchen is everything you need. The landlord is very nice. We can only recommend 😊

Gorgeous area, great views. The accommodation has everything you need, but is also a bit outdated and could use renovation/maintenance in some places. We still felt comfortable and welcome with dog and children, enjoyed the sunny afternoons on the large terrace and the evenings by the fireplace and had a great time.

There had been a hick up with the check in at first, but the host was really responsive and very helpful. It didn’t take long to get into the bungalow. If the website is updated with better check in instructions than this place is all you need to calm your mind 😊

We were very happy with the place. Our two large dogs were warmly welcome. The property is solidly fenced, so the dogs can also walk outside. The location on the outskirts was ideal for us and the car was safely under a carport right by the house. The place is very centrally located and ideal as a starting point for things to do in the Harz. The hostess was very friendly.

Very good accommodation for large groups, especially if a few beds remain free and the through room with bathroom is available to everyone. Great scenery and little things to discover in the area. Definitely recommended!

Very quiet and peaceful place. It’s the last house in the street and has a great view over the fields and forest. We enjoyed our stay very much. The town is quite small so for groceries you need to go nearby towns therefore having a car is almost essential. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would really recommend.

The place was not super modern, but really clean. the large room was great for eating or playing together as a large group. From the house there are a few smaller hiking routes. Everything else is quickly accessible by car. (playgrounds, swimming pool, hiking routes...) All in all, we were very satisfied.

We stayed with Gunnar with a group of friendly families. Upon arrival the house was a bit cold, but thanks to the fireplace we were able to heat up quickly. The equipment of the property has left nothing to be desired and children in particular have been thought of. If it turns out again, we'll be happy to come back.

Everything worked out here! We were seven adults and three kids. Everyone has their own bedroom and for us older there was something like a small apartment with a private bathroom. There was a playroom for the children, where they felt right at home. The kitchen is really fully equipped. Since we basically cook for ourselves, this was a pleasure there. Everything is in very good condition. In the garden, everyone could sit together at large tables and the barbecue is so large that everyone can also be served their food at the same time perfectly 100% recommendation. Basically, we were very satisfied. In total, I would like to give 4.9/5 stars for this. There are two things I find worth mentioning for future vacationers. 1. We stayed at the place in the summer and there were an incredible number of wasps there. With the balcony door open, it didn't take a minute for the first wasp in the living room. We were often only a short time in the garden because it was unbearable due to the wasps. 2. First of all, it is important to say that you are basically already relatively isolated. But what is not visible in the pictures, you are directly on the "main street" of Misery and half of the garden can be seen from the neighboring parking lot. At least in the summer the parking lot is quite weakly frequented, so no big deal. If you imagine a remote forest house from the pictures, you are wrong and should look at Google Maps beforehand.

Very great hosts, even with bread service. In the sauna and in the swimming pool you could relax wonderfully. The house was very clean
