Luxury Thatched Cotswold Cottage, amazing location

MadeleineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Really enjoyed our stay, found Polly great! She was very helpful and friendly even before our trip and could tell she’s very happy to give recommendations for different things in the area. Her response time seems low on the app but she was at a wreath class one of the nights we stayed so can’t blame her :p. Everything seemed well organised - even the sofa bed bedding was made up and put on the side for us. A couple small things were forgotten but again polly was very helpful and made sure to get bits over to us. Would say the area was quiet, not loads to do, but we quite enjoyed that and found it was quite beautiful to walk through and find a place for coffee in the morning before exploring some further areas. She also left out some fresh eggs for us and some bread which was super nice to arrive too!

Our stay was the perfect weekend reset celebrating my partners birthday. The views were incredible and the whole weekend was so peaceful. 30 seconds from the front door there is access to beautiful walks round the lakes, or into the neighbouring villages Through Greystones Nature Reserve. Bourton is just a short walk and definitely worth a visit. Overall, easy check in with super friendly hosts, great place, great location We will definitely be back and would 100% recommend!

Camside, Chipping Campden - Taswell Retreats

DavidRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Camside is very comfortable and a lovely place to stay. It is very well appointed and has everything you need for a great stay. The setting by the river with rural views is beautiful and the shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. I love Chipping Campden and have stayed there many times and I really hope to use Camside again. Thank you very much, Ed and team.

We stayed over a New Years Eve and it was cosy warm and the theatre, sights, restaurants were just a short walk away. Stratford upon Avon is a town worth visiting. The house is well cut, nicely furnished and we can only recommend.

STOW-ON-THE-WOLD TALL TREES HOLIDAY COTTAGE

KatieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This is a lovely place to stay for a gathering. The cottage is as described, clean, comfortable and well equipped and there were lots of lovely touches like making up the wood burner for our first evening. The view from the lounge and front is beautiful. Our host, Jenny, was super helpful and flexible and was able to offer us early check in and later check out which made our last day far more relaxed. The property is close to all Stow has to offer. We had a lovely meal at The Bell Inn which is a stone’s throw from the property. Thoroughly recommend!

Chipping Campden private House and Garden

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Compton House was the perfect place for our early Christmas family get together. We especially appreciated the welcome hamper (v generous) and also all the equipment for small children… we were so well catered for. Chipping Campden itself really delivers on Cotswolds charm and it was lovely to not have to use the car to get there each morning. Thanks to Barry for a brilliant stay!

La Kaz Rue Bristol

BillRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A wonderful stay in a lovely house. Tastefully and comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen, this provided everything we needed for an enjoyable and intimate family Christmas. Communications with our host, Sam, throughout our brief stay was excellent although we had very few occasions to make contact. Access and use instructions were clear and comprehensive. Beds were very comfortable with good quality linen and towels provided. Cleanliness throughout the house was super, and we made sure not to wear outdoor footwear in carpeted areas. The lounge area was very welcoming, although could have benefitted from some additional seating (for 3 of us, only having a 2-seater sofa was a little difficult). Overall, we loved staying at your home, and we found the area very hospitable with easy access to local shops and eateries. Very many thanks, Sam

Spacious House Cotswold border

TrevorRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Orchard House is lovely family home, very comfortable for a large family group stay. Our weekend was a birthday treat for a grandparent and two families with 5 children. Agnes left her own children's toys available to play with and that made the venue a great hit with our youngsters. That and the spacious and extremely well equipped rooms made our weekend a great success. The location is easy to find and well placed for anyone visiting Oxford and the surrounding areas, particularly convenient for Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. An all round 5 star venue and a great and considerate host, Agnes.

Cotswold Thatched Barn

MaxRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Wow! You couldn’t wish to find a more beautiful setting for a cosy break in the Cotswolds! We had the most amazing time at the Barn. We stayed for just the weekend but wish we could have stayed for longer. The barn is a stunning renovation in a picturesque setting, immaculately tidy, spacious, beautifully dressed throughout, a little slice of English paradise. Our hosts Becky & Tom were so helpful and lovely, they gave us a host of recommendations, from restaurants, pubs and bars to local farm shops and walks. We were greeted with a variety of local treats on arrival. Communication was fantastic and they made us feel so at home. If you’re looking for a romantic break or a little peaceful getaway, you must visit the barn! We will definitely be returning and can’t thank Becky & Tom enough for making our stay so special. Can’t wait to go back x

Quirky Cotswold Country Cottage, Tranquil Village

VickiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were looking for a quiet spot where we could go for daily walks, work on puzzles, read and relax. This charming house had it all. Edwina gave us excellent advice on walks and dining in the area and it was spot on. Edwina always responded promptly with answers to our multiple questions. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and a fire was laid in the Inglenook fireplace ready to be lit upon arrival. There was also a welcome basket with goodies with everything needed to get us started. Edwina and the house could not be more cozy and welcoming.
