Wonderful stay. Ample space. Beautiful Northern Lights watched from the hot tub! Good driving to Snaefellsnes Peninsula and around Borgarnes. Close to Hraunafossar falls and Krauma for a geothermal soak! Nice stay

What an experience with weather that brought blowing snow and wind gusts to add to the challenge of a visit in Winter!! Einar and Oli kept in touch and gave us great advice about navigating the conditions, plus we saw the Northern Lights! The cabin was perfect, really well equipped, with extras like spices and cooking oil. The things you don’t think to buy for a two night stay. It was warm, clean, charming and incredibly comfortable. The view and snowscape scenery was spectacular and we were well looked after on the way out too, clearing snow for us to drive safely on to the next destination.

Bjarni's place is perfect for a quiet and relaxing night. It is not in the village but it is not a problem because it gives you many directions to arrive more easily. The place is very clean, and her dog is lovely. Thank you!

Beautiful location with ocean view, incredible hosts, and pristine place! We really enjoyed our stay here and came back for a second night during our trip. The heated floors were a huge plus! They were kind enough to allow us to meet their horses, who were exceptional. It was a pleasure staying here, highly recommend!

Lovely cabin just outside Borgarnes, the common area was large enough for us to enjoy making meals and playing games as a group. The bedrooms are a little cramped so we did have luggage spilling out into the common areas but it was large enough to accommodate that! The hot tub and back porch were absolutely fantastic we had wonderful views of the northern lights just outside the cabin. The host is excellent with instructions, being from a different country there are a lot of appliances that were different than we’re used to but the instructions were fantastic, even down to how to use the oven. Would absolutely recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a quiet place to enjoy the outdoors with great access to the golden circle and other attractions near by.

Karl’s house was lovely! It was secluded from main areas and we got beautiful pictures of the Northern Lights. We stayed for 10 days and Karl was very responsive to any questions, and was easy to contact. We had a lovely stay and hope to come back with our kids in a few years!
