Villa Villa

EricRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Great place to stay for a peaceful vacation. As advertised, Diniwid Beach is just a few minutes walk from the property and Station 1 could be accessed from Diniwid Beach though a lighted pathway. The rooms were properly maintained, spacious, and clean. Basic toiletries and towels are also provided. Units with kitchen have kitchenware and dinnerware available for use. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The host was responsive to queries as well. Wifi is available, and the property is backed-up with a generator. Over-all, a place you can highly recommend.

4Bedroom Home 10 Steps to Beach for Family/Friends

JoshRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a great place to stay on Boracay. It was in station 3 so we only had to do a short walk to be in the tourist area but we didn't have all the crowded beaches like in station 2 and station 1. The restaurants were good. The host was very accommodating. We had a little trouble initially with the jeep not getting us close enough to the accommodation. But it was only a short walk. Would highly recommend!

Bluefin diveresort with Roofdeck,Beam Room 303

MarcusRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A 5-10 min. walk to d'mall. A lot of nearby restaurants if you prefer a leas crowded location. Near Bulabog beach (3 min. walk). 2 towels were given to us upon check-in. Water pressure is a bit weak for my liking since the unit in the 3rd floor. It's a decent place to stay. However, during our stay, Boracay had a blackout for 14-hours and the unit doesn't have a generator - something to consider. Overall, stay was nice. Jungmin was very responsive. Thank you!

Sunset Point Boracay

LukeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Our stay was perfect! Boracay is a lovely place to visit and the villa is no exception. It’s located in a quiet area which is only a short trike ride to all the tourist activities. Peter is super responsive and always able to help and so is Marilou the in-house maid. For a fee, she can cook breakfast, grocery shop and babysit etc so it’s very convenient if you’re not familiar with the area.

Hey Jude Bulabog Beachfront Residence

DanielRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time. The house is clean, spacious & in a great location. Outside is very windy, so we didn’t eat outside as we expected to, however it wasn’t an issue for us. Easy walking distance to d’mall, etc. but just that little bit removed, which was ideal for our needs. Thanks for a great stay!

Palmhill - 2 Bungalows privat

JoeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The environmentally friendly Palm Hill Villa is so beautiful. Birds and cats come to play every day, and the sound of rain on a rainy day was more beautiful than any singing. Relaxed and serene, Palm Hill Villa has been a haven for our family. And Rudy took care of all the details, so I was able to spend a pleasant day without any inconvenience. Rudy is always very responsive. I was very satisfied with the pickup, sanding, and breakfast service, and the free laundry service was also very good. The occasional power outage is uncomfortable, but it was also romantic. I was so happy to swim privately while listening to my favorite music in my quiet house. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, we recommend Palm Hill Villa. As in other reviews, if you say you want to get off on the main road of Helios Spa, you can also go to a tricycle for 20-25 pesos.

The Luxury Beachfront Residence

JesseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This luxury is amazing! Everything looks like the photos, very spacious and clean, great view of the beach and we have our own swimming pool and easy access to the beach. It was like a dream that we did not want to wake up! Staff are polite and attentive, they can pretty much provide all of our requests. We were there to celebrate our daughter’s 20th birthday and they did everything they can to decorate the room, got fresh flowers and a really cute cake to make the day special. We used their chef service too on the birthday and everything was great. The price was definitely on the higher side, but considering how nice the apartment was and all of the service they provide, I’d say it’s worth it. It was a great stay and my family made great memories together during our stay there!

DIWA-Exquisite Island Gem

LuRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My family and I stayed one week at Rosemarie’s Diwa house. She had been very responsive before and throughout our stay. Diwa House is a little hidden gem with beautiful decoration and all the comfort we needed. It’s a short walk from the beautiful Diniwid Beach and near many local eateries and just 8 minutes from a mall. Sharon and Dennis have been coming daily to clean the house which is extraordinary for an Airbnb. We had towels and bed linens changed almost on daily basis. I highly recommend Rosemarie’s place.

Villa Onyx in Boracay (Villa Ambria)

ChadRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Quiet house away for the busy downtown area. It’s .3 miles from beach and .6 miles to Main Street. They have electric trikes to transport for 200 pesos. Take the hop on hop off city buses for cheaper travel. This villa has all the amenities, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, large bathrooms for each bedroom, pool and very secure. Two locked gates to enter your private villa. Never felt the need to lock the villa. Jerry and the owner are the best host I’ve experienced. When you walk to the beach it feels like your private area. It’s the most western end of the most popular beech on the island. 10/10 You should stay here.

Your Quiet Boracay home near beach

CarolRating, 5 stars27 months ago
The place is actually huge, we're a group of 7. They provided enough mattress. Place is safe with security personnel 24 hours. They have Mochi, a very cute puppy :). If you're looking for a place away from the buzz and party noise of Station 1and 2, this place is highly recommended. However, they have poor internet connection but it is a really good way to disconnect and reconnect with the people you are with. I'd like to commend Ate Sara who is very helpful and is always there ready to assist us with our needs. Place is not beach front but like a 2 -3 mins walk away from the beach.

Luxury house in Cubay sur, Malay. Philippines

AlannaRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Seeking a relaxing vacation, this home provided us exactly what we needed for quality family time. The grounds and the home itself were breathtaking. While the beach in front was a bit rocky for swimming, the compensating pool became a favorite spot for my kids. Anjie, the caretaker, enhanced our experience significantly. He is such a hard worker, keeping the grounds so beautiful. He assisted with transport arrangements upon arrival and facilitated private tricycles for our trips to Caticlan (just 10 minutes away). Additionally, you can find a shared tricycle at the end of the road quite easily for only 20 pesos per person. Caticlan has a 7-11 and markets for eggs and other cooking ingredients. For a larger grocery run, Boracay had ample options. Anjie's recommendation, Cafe Tribu (a 5 minute ride from the house) became a favorite spot for pizza and more. Wifi was occasionally spotty, but the fantastic cable TV package allowed plenty of entertainment for us. Thanks for a nice week.

3 bdr luxury villa with rooftop jacuzzi in boracay

ArnaudRating, 5 stars84 months ago
I stayed for 3 nights at the Villa with a friend so we only use the 2 master ensuite bedrooms. The place Is located on the hills of Boracay, which is great if you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful. The jacuzzi is on the roof and offer a lovely view on the south east part of the island. You can use a tuk tuk to travel back into the different stations or rent a scooter (which we did) Overall it was a great experience and Samuel was a great host.

Simons place is great. Its ecerything there you need. Kitchen, tv, big terrace and also a soundbar for music. My stay there was relaxed even we had bad weather for 2 days. There is a restaurant next to his place. If you order seafood there ask for the prize before you order, otherwise you will get mad when they bring the bill. Will go there again in simons place. I come there as a guest and go as a friend

Aloe de Diniwid Private House with Pool & Gym

석범Rating, 5 stars63 months ago
Although I did not enjoy it as much as I did because of the typhoon, the house was very satisfied. Especially, the swimming pool was large enough and deep enough for children and adults to play. But there are ants and worms it personally has not been great inconvenience as by regional characteristics. And it was a very satisfying trip because the kind landlady cared about many things.

Spacious 4 bedroom house big garden

JesseRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Amazing home. We had 3 adults and 3 children and were very comfortable. Very spacious rooms and bathrooms, with several other areas in the home to relax in. Also has a billiards table to play on. All bedrooms have strong AC and fans. Fans are also plentiful all throughout the rest of the house which helps keep down the heat. As the description states, it’s about a 5 minute walk to Diniwid Beach. I really liked this beach area as it is much more peaceful than White Beach. However, the north end of White Beach is only about a 5-10 minute walk from Diniwid Beach along a beautiful beachside walkway. Compared to most Filipino Airbnbs, the accommodations here are excellent! -Fresh tropical fruit upon arrival -Paper towels in the kitchen -Each bathroom had its own soap and shampoo (full size) -Purified water (with replenishment) -Tons of towels available to use (20+) The assistant on the property was very helpful with local knowledge and recommendations. Thank you for a great stay!

Your guide to Boracay

Welcome to Boracay

Sand so pale you’d swear it was made of crushed eggshells. A translucent ocean that darkens from aqua to royal blue. Lush greenery and gently arching palm trees. If the tropical beauty of Boracay doesn’t stir the senses, you might as well stay at home. This tiny island — only five miles long and less than a mile wide — is located in the Western Visayas, about 200 miles south of Manila, at once remote and one of the Philippines’ best-known getaways.

The 13 beaches circling the island offer you every flavor of relaxation, from lolling about on the beach to parasailing and snorkeling to drinking cocktails under a cabana from sunset well into the night. Book a boat ride to visit some of the neighboring islands, with a swimming stop or two along the way. Pick up a freshly caught fish at the market and bring it to a nearby restaurant to prepare your dinner. Boracay actually became too popular too quickly, and in 2018, the national government closed the island to visitors for six months to restore the beaches. Now you have to make a reservation in order to stay. Which means, of course, that your trip to paradise won’t be ruined by overcrowding.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Boracay

When you travel to tropical Boracay, you rarely have to guess what to pack. With lows in the 70s Fahrenheit and highs in the 80s and 90s year round, light, breathable clothes are a must. Do check the calendar regarding rain gear, however: The monsoons begin in June and go through September, raining as much as 8 inches a month. The dry season in this corner of the Philippines — and peak tourist season, too — runs from October through April, making it a popular time to stay in one of the area’s house rentals. New Year celebrations on Boracay are particularly festive, followed soon after by the Ati-Atihan Festival, when musicians and partiers with brightly painted faces take to the streets.

Top things to do in Boracay

White Beach

Stretching two miles along the west coast of Boracay, the stunning White Beach is in some ways the island’s main strip, lined with hotels, restaurants, shops, and all manner of amenities for visitors. You can parasail in the waters above the beach or stretch out on a towel and run your fingers through the powdery white sands. In some spots, sandbanks stretch out far into the water, allowing you to bask in the ocean and, for those traveling with kids, safely play. Tip: The farther south you wander along the beach, especially in the Station 3 region, the more chill the vibes become.

Snorkeling on Punta Bunga Beach

Though tourism has taken a toll on the coral reefs that encircle Boracay, the Philippine government has been working to restore and protect this vital natural resource. One of the best spots for snorkeling among the corals is the Punta Bunga Beach, near the northern tip of the island. From April to June the water is especially clear for spotting colorful parrotfish, lionfish, and angelfish —and if you head out a little farther, you might catch a glimpse of reef sharks or barracuda. Consider wading into the water soon after sunrise, when human activity is at its lowest.

Playing on Bulabog Beach

The eastern coast of Boracay is the windier side, especially from November to April, and folks who’d rather play on the water than relax beside it certainly take advantage. Just across the island from White Beach, Bulabog Beach teems with sails and parachutes. Outfitters along this 1.5-mile stretch will set you up with the equipment and training you need to kiteboard or windsurf, and soon you’ll find yourself zipping along the water.
