It seems that we have rated Cara's place very well and five stars, that's because it has earned this rating. From the moment we drove in the gate we loved it. It was my wife's 70th birthday celebration and her family all arrived the following day. They were in awe as much as we were. The perfect place for a family gathering, relaxation, beautiful views. The house - everything - was amazing! There was no way anyone wanted to leave and we are already hoping for a return soon. We absolutely loved the kitchen and it was so easy to prepare a High Tea for the morning and birthday cake, and then a roast dinner at night. Cosy fire at night. Thank you so much. Mads' cottage is a fabulous place to relax and unwind. It's a very nice cottage in a beautiful setting with lots of birdlife, wallabies and kangaroos. We'd highly recommend it to everyone. The expansive gardens are an added bonus as is the lovely township of Tenterfield, 10 minutes away. Thanks again, Mads. Your place was just what we needed.

Lizzy and Trav have put a lot of love and thought into the space, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As a family with Adult children, it was the perfect space for all of us to fit and enjoy together. A big thank you to them both for the lovely weekend away.

Wow. What a stunning cabin this is. Perfectly appointed with everything you need for a few days of bliss. The huge bath with a view, the kangaroos outside and the stunning sunsets are all superb. Kind hosts who added little touches to make this an enjoyable experience. We would recommend to everyone and we hope to be back soon.

After many stays in Stanthorpe, this was our first time staying at Davadi Cottage, and we will definitely be back! The cottage is just gorgeous with so many lovely little touches! It was spotlessly clean, with lovely quality furnishings. The beds were so very comfortable, made up with actual Doonas in covers which we loved, and good quality linen. It wasn't cold enough for us to use the indoor fireplace (which was well stocked with firewood), however we took advantage of the fabulous outdoor fireplace set up to roast marshmallows under the stars! Anneke was a wonderful host, and we felt very much safe and at home. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Anneke and her beautiful cottage to anyone!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful B&B, and it was an unforgettable experience! The home is spacious and perfect for large families, with plenty of comfortable beds to accommodate everyone. The wide-open spaces allowed us to relax and enjoy our time together, whether we were playing games in the living room/play area or enjoying the fresh air outside. There was even a separate 'play area' with my favourites game "pong-pong and Jenga. The decor is charming and welcoming, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly friendly; the home had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. If you’re looking for a cozy yet spacious retreat for your family, I highly recommend this B&B! We can't wait to return!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having 2 toddlers in a very homey accommodation was amazing. They as well as the rest of my family felt at right at home. Location is right next to a park where my kids would go down to and have a play and my parents enjoyed the crisp morning walk by the lake which is also so close. Thank you so much for hosting my family and I. Definately reccomend staying at Kilpa Cottage.

The wine tasting with Tim was incredible and he was a great person to have chats with. Also gave us good recommendations on what to do and was super flexible with check in and check out. Thanks Tim!

We felt that every need we might have had was anticipated before it even occurred to us. A lovely home, peaceful spot, wonderful hosts. We spent Summer evenings watching sunset from the verandah, using the barbecue and the spa, and mornings curled up on the day bed reading. All the little luxuries - coffee machine, lovely crockery and furnishings and a thoughtful welcome basket.

A group of 6 of us stayed for 2 nights for a ladies weekend. It was beautiful, exactly like the pictures. It was comfortable and clean. It was a really hot weekend, but the house was lovely and cool. We spent a lot of time in the garden just talking. We walked down to wander the shops which were lovely. We had two delicious meals out as well. On the second day we opted to go out for lunch instead of dinner so that we could just settle in and stay and enjoy the beautiful garden into the evening with our drins and nibbles. Merrillee welcome to us when we arrived and provided home-made jams and butter to go with some croissant's that she left us. She also picked some fresh mulberries for us on our arrival. Made us feel so comfortable and was really thoughtful in leaving us to enjoy our weekend.

Beautiful, unique property! We loved the 12 sided yurt with windows and amazing views in all directions. The nights were cold but the heated blankets on the beds and the wood burner kept us cosy. Lovely bathroom with local Washpool toiletries that smelt great (so we went to the shop to buy more). Great spot for walks in the stunning Girraween National Park. We enjoyed watching the kangaroos bounce through the garden! Highly recommended.
