What a gem! We spent the New Year in this cottage and it was such a good choice. We looked to disconnect from the city and for a more rural experience, and it was just perfect. Although it's a simple accomodation, it has everything you need. There is electrical heating which warms the place up very fast even when it's freezing outside. A beautiful fireplace with firewood available and cozily decorated with traditional furniture. Small kitchen with everything you need. Not connected to water during winter, but you have large water tanks with taps provided by the host. Impressively clean and well kept! Hosts are very responsive and help you with anything you might need. Safe parking spot available right next to host's house. Will definitely go on our "saved" list and will rebook for sure in the future! Thank you for a lovely stay and Gott Nytt År!

We arrived late but it was no problem. Great host with quick communication. Smooth. Fantastic beautiful location with the lake just around the corner. Great with beds for everyone and two bathrooms with shower which was great. We were going up the country so only one stop overnight but we would have loved to stay longer 💕

We were three guests who visited Bollnäs over the weekend to compete in Archery-SM. The accommodation suited us perfectly, each bedroom and nice bathroom as well as an extra toilet and shower downstairs. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of space in the living room. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Very affordable and perfect for us that the cleaning was included so we could only leave in the morning😊. Will definitely come back if we are in Bollnäs.

We spent 10 wonderful days at Villa Källyckan, reading in the cozy living room, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, and playing with the Brio toy train and the many toys at the house. There are several opportunities for beautiful scenic walks in the area, and the nearby towns of Ljusdal and Järvsö are definitely worth a visit. Reine and Madde welcomed us very warmly and were always quick to respond throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The place was cozy and the decor was nicely matched in green. Great porcelain so the meals were a delight. We saunaed and sat in the relaxation area and everything went well. Since there was quite little snow, we took the car to the ski center for convenience reasons, but it would also have worked to walk.

We had the pleasure to stay for three nights in the cabin. Our kids stayed in the shed, which they really liked. We had great spring weather and enjoyed sitting and playing in the garden. There are no bedsheets so bring your own (or rent them). Pleasant place to have a rest.

The moment I entered the house, I felt like home. The way the owners prepare things in the house saying that they have customer-oriented mindset. They think for their guests. How sweet. The house has 2 toilets, that's good. Very quiet and peaceful, all the time. Dining room is spacious. Parking right at the door, enough to park anything, even a bus. I think family with maximum 6 people can stay. Besides, only 4 minutes walk to bus station, such a perfect location. From X-trafik app, or buy ticket on board, we can go to Järvsö skiing resort, or to Arbrå train station (and from this station to Gävle and then Stockholm). What a pity that I did have a chance to meet the owners face to face.

We have spent four lovely days at Ol-Lar's bakery with skiing in Järvsö during the days and cozy evenings in the cabin in the evenings. Our host Pär was very nice and helpful and the communication with him was very quick. He greeted us upon arrival and showed us the cabin. The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed. The old part of the house and its history was well preserved. The new part of the house had a modern kitchen and bathroom with all the amenities that we needed. The surroundings were very peaceful and beautiful. We are happy to come back here even in the summer.

We got the top floor for ourselves. plenty of space and good view. A simple and relaxing place. Kitchen could need an upgrade but works fine for a short holiday, kids loved it.

Perfect place with all amenities you could ask for. Perfect size for our family with two adults and three children. Beautiful surroundings and yet very close to the town center. A bit hard to find, but that could also have been me having trouble reading instructions. The picture in the description is not of the house itself but a view from one of the windows.

It was easy to find using the exact description stated. Clean, nice and well-kept. Very large and handicap adapted toilets. Large kitchen/dining room with TV. There were no fixed channels, but there was a Google Chrome, which you could use to use the TV. Well-equipped kitchen with the essentials you need. The bunk beds felt a little unsafe and a bit dated getting into the top bed. Didn't find a ladder, you had to climb up via chair and foot end. The host was very nice and responded quite quickly. Definitely recommend.

Great cabin (with associated little cabin) in beautiful surroundings and by short drive to Järvsö with amazing Järvsöbacken! Exceptional communication with the host who gave us valuable tips on activities and responded quickly to questions both before and during our stay. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for and would love to come back!
