Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the waterfront. The house is very well-equipped and also very clean. We loved our canoe and paddle board rides as well as the beautiful large glass dining room. Thanks to the hosts!!

We had another great stay at the Beach house. We were 7 adults and 2 kids and never felt like we were on top of each other. Having 3 full bathrooms is so nice to have. it is very easy to run into Pembroke if we needed anything. The water was great and so shallow, the kids could safely be there for hours. If you are a swimmer, this might prove tricky, but it is fantastic for families with young kids. There were kayaks and live jackets available so you could easily go out and explore. The kitchen is huge and well equipped and the table was big enough for all of us to have supper together. The grownups enjoyed the pool table and it was well used. We had a lovely evening campfire on the beach with a beautiful sunset. All in all, a great trip. One of our party is older with a bit of mobility issues and getting down to the beach area was a bit tricky due to the high steps , but this did not affect our enjoyment of this place. Highly recommended.

Li was very respectful and responsible host. She called me before check in to confirm that everything was ready and to contact her if we need something. All amenities were in the house made it easy for us to be like at home with friends. It was snowing a lot and she arranged snow plower to timely removal of snow that helped. Kids could not use the playing equipments outside because of the weather and snow. Otherwise I felt we had all amenities in the property for a family with friends. Thanks Li and Bin.

Had a great long weekend in Carleton Place with my husband and parents. Steven's place was exactly as shown in the photos - very clean and super comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked, and the hosts were responsive to any questions. There was plenty of room with the two living rooms. It was nice that there are two bedrooms on the main floor so my parents didn't have to use the stairs. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again for a nice little getaway!

I had an incredible stay here! The property lives up to the photos and description, and was a beautiful place to spend the weekend. Would definitely stay here again the next time I need to host a group in the Ottawa area!

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

What a beautiful home and property. We had my fiancés 30th birthday here for the weekend and everyone who came had only great things to say about Olivias home. Thank you very much for having us. We were able to create memorable memories here.
