Vacation rentals in Blakeney Rapids

I can't say enough good things about Marla's Airbnb. We were there with another family in December and it's gorgeous! There was enough room to comfortably fit 2 families (collectively with 3 preschoolers and an infant). The separate but connected apartments were perfect for each family to have their privacy when needed but also come together. We had meals enjoying the beautiful view, snug next to the fireplace. The hot tub was wonderful. Communication was easy and Marla is graciously accommodating. For those of you traveling with infants, there's a baby bathtub and a pack n' play. I highly recommend and am hoping to come back soon.

We loved our time and plan to stay again! We visited with two kids (2 yrs & under), a blind dog, grandma, and aunt & uncle - everyone enjoyed it! (The loft is a better fit for older kids, but we made it work). The breeze mostly kept the bugs at bay so we didn’t need the screened room, but it’s a great option to have. The lake is shallow and beautiful! Dad & 2 yr old swam all day every day! Those that didn’t like the lake bottom (some weedy sections & old dock lumber) still enjoyed the water thanks to the paddle boards & canoe. Probably my favourite part was seeing how much our blind dog enjoyed her stay! She’s easily stressed out and doesn’t like change, but the quiet location & private yard (it’s mostly closed in with tall grasses and shrubbery that she wouldn’t cross) made it perfect for her! For the first time in years she was able to move freely and enjoy the vacation, too. The whole family loved it and we will likely be back! Fully enjoyed it

Our family and dog had a great Christmas time at Blake’s place. Right on the lake and within walking distance to the town of Westport. Cottage was fully stocked and comfortable for the family of 4. Kids enjoyed ice fishing and star gazing. Blake and Lizzie were wonderful hosts and very responsive.

We had this plsce for 10 days. It was very spacious and easy to get to. It was clean and well kept. I would definitely use this spot again if I had to go to Ottawa. Troy

Sheridon's place was great. It was the closest place to stay to the lifts at Calabogie, not counting the resort right beside the hill. Super easy to get to and from the ski lifts. Normally a ski in/ski out, some of the runs at Calabogie weren't open yet which meant we couldn't ski in ski out. That's not a issue with Sheridon's chalet, it was just timing and run availability at the hill. Great fireplace. Awesome water pressure. Renovated kitchen with all the expected amenities. My kids loved it. We will definitely stay at Sheridon's place again in early 2025 when we get back to Calabogie.

We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was beautiful as well as the property. It was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I and felt very homey. Short drive to Nordik, Chelsea Pub, and Gatineau Park. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area! Very happy!

Another great weekend at this property. Everything was spot on, and very well appointed. Super cozy, and super close to the ski hill.

We stayed at this cabin with my school’s outdoors club, and it was amazing! The place is very beautiful, it had so many amenities, and the layout and extra things provided such as board games, sports equipment, a guitar, and outdoor speakers were all very thoughtful. Dan was very helpful in reaching out to us to make sure everything was okay, and provided ample information about the place and clear instructions. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and have no complaints!
