Lovely stay, really felt at home at sue and Neil’s getaway

The 2 acre bit was beautiful! I could fault and couldn’t recommend more if I tired. Joanne and John were extremely helpful and communication was brilliant, they even recommended areas and things to do nearby. The welcome cake and the hot tub was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back! 10/10 ☺️

Absolute gem of a place and would recommend to anyone. beautiful views and would be superb in the summer. Hot tub was fantastic very hot and clean with good powerful jets and very secluded. Tastefully decorated with the bonus of sky sports.

We arrived during storm Eowyn and Emma offered us the option to check in early, allowing us to travel in the light. The cottage was great and the gaming barn was a good addition too. The cats were very friendly ! All in all a great stay

We booked Dot’s place as a treat for our dad and it did not disappoint! A beautiful cabin with a peaceful and tranquil vibe, perfect for relaxing and being with nature. We loved the log burner and the hot tub was an extra bonus! Dot was a fab host, always friendly and responsive, helping with anything we needed. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family, and will return in the near future. Thank you for a great stay!

Had a lovely New Years holiday with family (and dogs) and it did feel like a holiday. Hosts were very attentive (with hot tub, and asking about wi-fi) yet I think made sure to let us feel comfortable and give us our privacy. A 15 minute walk to shop, or 2 minute drive - we also visited Blackpool (30 minute drive). Clean beds, lovely living room and can't fault value for money, and would recommend. Thanks for having us!!

We *loved* our stay at Mike’s place! Everything was clean, the amenities were above and beyond and the whole place felt very comfortable. Mike has gone a long way to make this place feel very homey and relaxing and we’d definitely be staying again. Thank you Mike!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful village, Very private even when on the ground of the host's property. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short as we were in the middle of a big freeze : frozen ground, ice and very treacherous conditions to do any walking anywhere. Pot luck when you decide to visit the Yorkshire Dales in January but thankfully , the little cottage kept us warm even with - 2 temperatures day time and even lower at night time. The cottage is well equipped , a little gem surrounded by beautiful walks ( in normal weather conditions! )

This is a wonderful home with everything needed for us as a family of 5. It's on the door step to lots of different locations, so a perfect base for people/families wanting to do different things. Comms we proactive and clear up front and we were met with a friendly welcome on arrival. We'd definitely stay again if we are ever back up that way.

Really enjoyed our stay, the cottage had everything we needed. Great communication from Jane and clear instructions. It was peaceful and the view was lovely. The kids liked the pull out tables, they came in handy. Would highly recommend, thank you.

We loved our visit and will definitely book the cottage again. It was adequate for our needs, comfortable and clean. We particularly loved having a log burner. The location was excellent, local pubs great and all very welcoming. The hosts communicated well in a prompt way and were so very helpful. We also appreciated that, on this occasion, the hosts were able to be flexible for the requirements of our trip. Lovely, quaint and quiet village too. All in all very happy!

We had a great visit to Janes place in Airton. All we needed was provided for us, and Jane was very kind to help us out with transport assistance. A warm and friendly host in a superb location.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Despite the weather not being great you still made it a lovely night away for me and my son. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay, pub with nice food 10 minute walk away. A lovely touch with the chicken feed for the morning, so my son could feed the ducks and chicken. Also nice to have a walk around the farm to see all the animals. Thank you again for a relaxing night and we will be booking again in the future.

Lovely welcoming and clean cottage. Hosts on site for any difficulties. Great for our hen weekend. Pool was warm and each cottage has an allocated time so that meant we were the only ones in there. Thinking of booking again for a soon to be significant birthday

Fantastic stay, a lovely spacious static. Stayed for 4 nights during New Year so was very cold and windy outside. Loved being inside, heating was very good. It’s exactly what you would want. Location is great and just 10 minute drive away from anything you may need or want to do. We will be back!!

Me and my partner had a lovely time here. Will definitely be recommending it to family and friends. Was lovely to have some piece and quiet surrounded by animals definitely my happy place.

Visited Lower Gill Farmhouse as part of my mum's 70th Birthday celebrations. 12 of us ranging in age from 5 to 75! All rooms were a great size, was excellent having 3 en-suite rooms along with a very large main bathroom and a downstairs toilet. The Kitchen was lovely, everything we needed and more - might have been nice to have tea/coffee and a little milk left for when we arrived after a long drive but luckily our tesco delivery arrived early so this wasn't too much of a problem. The living room had 3 good size sofas so we could all relax in front of the log burner. We made full use of the pool, games room, football pitch and tennis courts - a great addition especially for the kids and 4 hours allocation each day was perfect. Our dogs had a ball too - lots of places for them to run and play. Even in January we managed to spend lots of time outside and the little stream at the back of the cottaqe was wonderful. Great response from our host too, even though she was on holiday herself.

A beautiful cottage in an amazing area. we walked most days and did bot require the car all that much. we walkedto 4 local villages...visiting The Ablingdon Arms at Beckley on a few occasions. Our doggo was super happy in the cottage as were we! Cosy nights watching TV in the living room to big breakfasts around the dining table...and yhe odd midday nap. There has been alot of thought put into this place by the owners and it shows!
