Cabin vacation rentals in Black Lake

Beautiful cabin right next to the lake. We went in the winter and the lake is pretty when partially frozen. Of course, the fireplace was very cozy with the cold weather. This made us want to try out a different cabin in the summer soon! We won’t go back to this cabin - we chose the location randomly and learned quickly the nearby town of Cheboygan is not gay friendly. We got a lot of odd stares and didn’t feel safe. It’s unfortunate because it looks like it could be fun to go back.

Whiskey Pines is a hidden gem! Shasta and Chris are truly amazing hosts who have thought of everything. Also incredibly quick to respond when one need arose. The cabin is so cozy and tucked away, offering unmatched views Lake Huron. We especially loved waking up to the sound of crashing waves each morning. It was the perfect place to escape Chicago for a New Years reset. We found the nearby towns super charming, and enjoyed the Ocqueoc Falls Bicentennial Path for a dash of nature. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Northern Michigan!

Monica Made sure we were set up from the booking on with clear instructions for check-in and directions. We arrive to a very clean cabin and a sweet gift basket which was perfect for us! She sent us a list of local things to do and restaurants which was extremely helpful. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we could ever need for our stay and there was clear expectations for check out. The entire experience was amazing and we enjoyed the cabin so much we want to build one of our own! Thank you so much for sharing it with us and making our anniversary weekend stay phenomenal!

We loved our stay at the 3 little cottages! It has everything we needed and more. The lakeside area was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as well. The cottages were clean and comfortable and had all basic amenities covered. We enjoyed all the extra toys provided in the shed. Lori was so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave and can not wait to come back next year!

What a great house along with fantastic hosts. Everything you need is provided for your stay. The location is perfect for seeing the wonderful sights in Northern Michigan., We loved every minute at the house and were sad to leave. You will not find a better home base with all the beauty that surrounds this Paradise Lake home. We will return. Thanks Stacy for the great communication and your lovely home.

The name says it all. It’s a very cozy cabin. It was clean and we enjoyed our stay there. We tend to be repeat visitors, we will keep this place in mind for the next time

Excellent host, Michael & Kelly were so nice. Check in & check out was easy. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing. It is a great place for family and children. The lake is quiet and they have canoeing, kayaks as well as fishing. I recommend this resort for relaxing lakeside experiences. The shopping in Charlevoix, Petosky, Glen Arbor and Traverse City was better than Door Country. The beaches along the coastlines were also a must see.

We had such a great time. Winter in the UP is so peaceful. Danielle's place was great to come back to after exploring from White Fish Point to Kitichi-ti-kipi spring to Tahquamenon falls. We never had to stop at the grocery store. Danielle's place had coffee, tea, creamer, dish soap, toilet paper, etc. We'll be back!

Such a perfect cozy place in a beautiful setting. We loved all the interesting details and appreciated the holiday decorations and the snacks! Would love to come back in any season but especially in winter!

We had an amazing stay at Phil’s Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Phil was a fantastic host—communicative, welcoming, and thoughtful. The location was perfect for our group, and we truly appreciated all the little touches that made our stay even better.

Great location and home to stay for a quick skiing weekend. Quiet area and the outdoor hot tub is in a great location away from the one neighbor.

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

We absolutely loved this little cabin. It was so close to the lake and a perfect place to retreat to after a day of ice fishing. Especially with the hot tub waiting for us. We enjoyed how private it was even though it was nestled in the midst of several other places. The entrance and hot tub facing the woods with an ample privacy fence made us feel like we had the whole area to ourselves. The entire place was clean and well organized with all of the little creature comforts we could need. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. We are considering another trip down!

We stayed there for our honeymoon. Talking to the host was easy and very responsive when we couldny book it for some reason. So Stephanie booked it on her end figured out the issue. We are so happy with our stay. It felt just like home yet at the same time a getaway. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We are hoping to come back in the summer!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, kitchen was well stocked with supplies we ate all our meals at the cabin. Hot tub was awesome and the location was peaceful! Communication was great and we were so appreciative when we asked about a late checkout with kiddos to get out the door too. They were able to accommodate us as there wasn’t any one checking in the day we left. Lovely stay! Thank you!

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

Mabel's Place is cuter than the photos! It was perfectly cozy with a great yard space just close enough to town and other recreation areas! Roger always responded in a timely matter. This is a hidden gem!

A great weekend getaway for my fiancés birthday! The cabin was very clean and cozy. We truly enjoyed the location as we live in the city and the silence was so peaceful. Lots of amenities in cabin and updated appliances! Now for you guest, please stop using metal utensils in pots/pans whether at home or here! Thank you Kyle for offering this beautiful location and well kept cabin for guest.

This AirBnB brought us such peace during our visit to the area. It was nice and quiet. The house is super cute especially when the fireplace is on - we felt very comfortable. The fencing is nice if you have dogs as well. Fire pit was very relaxing! Easy check in/check out process. Thank you for the welcome goodies as well. We found out that Kirkland popcorn is now our favorite :)

Our stay here was very nice! It was very dog friendly and the house was very cozy. You have to keep the doors open in the bedrooms for the heat to radiate properly, but we didn’t mind that. It was a perfect cabin for our trip!

The setting is so idyllic and peaceful! The cabin is clean, well maintained and a fun place to hang out. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to stay there again in the future.

Cozy, comfortable cabin for quick weekend trip to Pigeon River Country. Super clean and just what we needed while spending the days on the trail. Easy to get to the High Country Pathway, Lewiston, and Atlanta.
