The villa is located 4 km from Storsjön's pearl, Årsunda Strandbad. 30 minutes drive from Kungsberget Ski resort and 20 minutes from popular Högbo Bruk. Currently only access to the lake in winter.

Forest close gives possibilities for hiking, biking, picking berries and mushrooms. 31 slopes and 13 lifts, ski resort Romme Alpin has something for all. In the winter, when the lake is covered with ice, it is also possible to take long walks, skate and ski. For cross-country skiing we recommend Gyllbergen.

Iconic 19th century Dalarna farmstead, quietly situated near Lake Siljan. A comfortable combination of modern facilities with many original details, including fully functional tiled stoves. Newly built timber cottage with view location over Hovran. Patio with barbecue grill, access to jetty and rowboat during summer. One bedroom with 4 beds in the form of 2 bunk beds, a bedroom with 2 beds. The living room has a fireplace and on the property there is a wood stove sauna. The accommodation is suitable for those who want to enjoy the peace and nature, parties are not allowed.

Lake cabin with all the amenities by the fishing lake.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. See also my guidebook The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.

Rikkenstorp - swedish countryside!

Come and stay at our small organic farm. You have your own nice house by the lake with access to a sauna. Take a walk in the forest or on the paths around the farm and say hi to the animals. This is an active small scale farm with a genuine feeling! Experience real countryside with nature, silence and a sky full of stars :-)
