Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Birdham

Perfect for a one night stay for a birthday celebration with friends. The property was spotless and lovely that bedrooms were all en-suite. Can’t comment much on the area as we were only staying one night and didn’t explore but property itself very private.

We stayed here for a weekend away in February and it was absolutely perfect! A lovely, homely countryside cottage with some great walks nearby. About a 10min walk from the centre of East Meon where there are 2 pubs (Ye olde George inn was our favourite) which are ideal for meals. Rachel/Michael’s communication ahead of our stay was brilliant and they provided a lot of helpful information. Would certainly recommend!

We had a great stay! The cottage is lovely and so cozy - everything was just perfect. My sons enjoyed themselves strolling through Arundel while my husband and I could go on a hike (great Pub in Burpham!). We will definitely come back!

We spent our family Christmas here for a treat and thoroughly loved it! Everything you need for making meals, including a festive one, and perfect arrangement of rooms for being social if you fancy or some quiet sitting-space. Lovely that bowls, treats and a towel were provided for the dog (the latter is often overlooked and makes it hard to keep your host’s home nice and clean, so I always take one). Thoroughly recommend!

One of the best AirB&Bs we have been to. Walking in, on a cold day, to a lovely warm house, with a fresh smelling candle, and flowers. What more could you want. There were so many lovely treats left at the property together with essentials, like milk and breakfast goodies. Good quality toiletry items also available to use. Lovely location near to canal path. Easy walk both into Chichester and along to Marina. Would certainly book again.

So cosy and comfortable, everything one needs in the kitchen area. Beds and bedding meant we all slept extremely well. Loved the natural light and the green outlook plus the joy of seeing the buzzard. Will definitely come again.

We absolutely loved our stay in Seaview, having visited Seaview many times in the past, this was definitely the best place we have stayed. Across the road from the beach with a sea view from the balcony, we couldn't have asked for more. The house is the best equipped of any Airbnb we have stayed at in the past which helps so much when you're only away from home for a week. The kitchen had all of the equipment we needed and a cupboard full of herbs, spices etc. The house is beautifully decorated, with a lovely garden. Seaview is quiet, its not got any of the hustle and bustle of some other seaside towns, so is perfect for a quiet stay on a lovely beach, great for exploring rock pools and fishing, or a walk to Priory bay! The house has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, it's comfortable, relaxing and well equipped for the kids with enough TV stations and board games to keep them entertained when we got them in from the beach! We loved our stay, thanks Crispin!

Immaculate, characterful and comfortable house and a beautiful and wild location. Host made us feel very welcome. Excellent dinner at The Lamb Inn 5 minutes drive away and great day on the beach at Wittering 30 minutes away. Can also recommend the Beach Cafe in Pagham itself. Five stars all round.

We had a wonderful weekend stay on Hayling Island in Hampshire. The house's location right on the water was perfect, and Kate, the hosts' early check-in option was a thoughtful touch that made our weekend feel even longer. We spent lots of time enjoying coastal walks along the sea, taking in the fresh air and beautiful views. A highlight of our trip was taking the ferry to Portsmouth - a really fun day out exploring the area. A really lovely stay - thank you for having us.

This was a trip down memory lane for my 92yr old mother. she has mobility issues but managed the few steps upto the hallway. The accomodation was lovely clean and warm. we enjoyed the onside parking and also enjoyed the walks down to South Parade pier as my mum reminisced about her early years. A great time was had by all of us. The apartment felt homely my mum was well impressed. Thank you Jane for a lovely time. Pete and family.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Keely's. The apartment is just beautiful, with an amazing view to the sea. Keely and Julie were great hosts, very accommodating and understanding. Everything was very clean. Location was great for strolling along the beach and accessing downtown Ryde.

Only stayed one night, but lovely, clean and modern apartment. Quiet road and a beach a 2minute walk away

Had a great week's stay. Harry met me on arrival and showed me around the flat and quickly arranged for a not quite hot radiator to be looked at first thing the next morning. Apartment is well equipped with all the kitchen utensils you could wish for, the living room is cosy and the bedroom very comfortable. Although just back from the seafront esplanade, it was very quiet whilst just a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre and a 5 minute walk from the Hover terminal.

Stayed at Poppys place for 3 nights. The apartment is a good size and had everything needed to be self catering. We didn’t use any of these facilities as we were using it as a base whilst visiting our new born grandchild. The location is fabulous and although it was cold we managed a couple of lovely walks along the prom. Lots of regeneration taking place, it’s going to be very popular when it’s all finished. Tim was a fantastic host, very quick to respond to any queries we had. The house itself was beautiful and just what was needed after a long day, the private parking was a big bonus for us. All together we had a brilliant stay here and we will definitely be back again. Thank you for hosting us Tim.

Kevin has been a five star host!. His gorgeous place is in the most perfect of coastal locations, in which to spend quality time with my dear family. The house is stunning, equipped with all the quality essentials necessary and additional small touches, to ensure our stay was so comfortable. Everyone commented on how good the beds were ! The numerous people we met on our coastal walk were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for an amazing time, memories and prosecco! Thank you, we had a blast !!! x

We stayed for three nights over half term. The photos don’t quite do this place justice - I’m not exactly an architectural connoisseur but the place is stunningly designed with bifold doors straight onto the beach and a fire with ‘floating chimney’ visible from 360 degrees in the living area. Jo was an amazing host and showed us around personally, as well as supplying a very nice welcome pack and ample firewood! Whilst being right on the beach, this always felt like a very peaceful location. We enjoyed being able to do a bit of beach combing from the door as well as walk to the nearby nature reserve. Also had a very nice day out at West Wittering which is a relatively short drive. The weather was mixed during our stay (it was February!), but this the place is equally well equipped for a bracing walk followed by time by the log fire and more sunny days. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a short break by the sea.

The folly is a beautiful and magical place with great character. We spent a couple nights there over New Year’s Eve and it was perfect. Check in was flexible and very easy. The location is very peaceful and the garden and surroundings beautiful. Great pub with excellent food a few minutes drive down the road. We hope to be back in the summer.

Had a lovely stay with family. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the property and surrounds. The living area was inviting and convivial with a cosy log fire. The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive, going out of her way to accommodate and make our stay memorable. Definitely recommend.
