Dawn made us feel right at home. Very nice place, comfortable beds which is just what we were looking for.

Our little family of 3 and 2 dogs stayed here for several days. This cozy home looks exactly like the photos, but the view from the back porch was more stunning in person. Check in was seamless. The beds were clean and comfortable. The home smelled good and the central air and upstairs wall AC worked great. The home includes all the listed amenities. The coffee and tea bar were fully stocked, but we preferred daily visits to the coffee and pastry shop just a couple blocks South of the home. The pastries are excellent. The local grocery store, park and boat landing are also in close walking proximity. We enjoyed fishing and boating on Big Stone Lake so the private dock was perfect. We'd happily stay here again. Tip: do not lock the bottom door knob on the back porch or you'll get locked out. The host was responsive and the issue was resolved quickly. Also, you may want to bring house shoes because the original hardwood floors are dusty.

Although we are familiar with the area and steep slope on this side of the lake, there weren't specific details about the parking/steps to the house. I inquired to Evolve about this question & got a vague answer. Parking is off street, & then 30+ stairs down to the home. Other homes on this side of the lake have similar layouts, so we anticipated some of the steepness/steps. This home has stable stairs & a very stable handrail to the home. The stairs are rock/concrete, large & flat. But there are 30 to go up and down, so if you have any struggles with going up and down stairs, this will really give you a workout to the quads. The homeowner were great to communicate with and in fact, I would have preferred to just communicate with them as Evolve seemed difficult to get answers from. The home is open/spacious and has everything you would need to spend time here. Large bedrooms upstairs, new mattresses/bedding. Only one bathroom on main level, but again it is very spacious & large.

Our family of nine (with 7 of our children joining us) enjoyed our stay very much! The layout of the cabin made it feel very spacious and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The property had great amenities, and was super clean. My husband met Lisa the owner of this cabin who was nice and friendly. Our kids enjoyed playing with the neighbor kids at the cabin next door too. Property is right on the lake, like 10 feet from the back door, which we loved. Very quiet and peaceful lake, greatly enjoyed the two kayaks. Kids fished on one of the docks and had some fun catches. Definitely would return to this nice escape from big city life!

The place was clean, comfortable and in a quiet location. Worked out well and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Karen and her husband were so sweet and hospitable. The space was super comfortable and Karen made sure we had everything we could need right in our room! We’re already planning to come back next year 😊

Good place to stay in Milbank. Quiet area. Close to most things in milbank. Nice place.

Beautiful place!! We spent Thanksgiving with family here as it was closer for my grandmother to travel to. It was perfect! We brought extra pans and utensils but realized we did not need them as they were fully stocked with everything and the extras we would need for a nice holiday meal! We will be back for family gathering in the future.

I loved my stay at the castle,especially the deck ov erlooking the lake,,very peaceful and the bed was like sleeping on a huge marshmallow,, 😴 I would definitely stay again and again..

had a wonderful experience during our stay! the sunsets and sunrises were to die for! very spacious and had a great homey feel to our suite! bed's were incredibly comfortable and was stocked with everything needed for our longer stay! Suzie was nothing shy of an incredible host! always made sure we were taken care of and was readily available to answer questions and to be of help. would love to visit again and highly recommend.
