Vacation rentals with an EV charger in Texas

First stay at an A-Frame style rental and it was fantastic. This rental was clean and well located. Perfect for visiting Big Bend NP. If ever in the area would definitely stay here again and plan to recommend to any friends coming out this way.

We had an amazing stay! This spot is the perfect home base if you’re looking to explore Big Bend National park. We loved being so close to hikes & having a comfy place to relax at night. Close to lots of restaurants which we walked to every night. The space had warm showers, comfy bed, amazing views, and was very quiet. We loved feeling secluded but still having resources of an upscale place. We had storms one night & the power went out, the generator immediately kicked on. We almost wouldn’t even have noticed. The space has a water filter, fridge, and coffee maker, which is perfect for preparing for a day of hiking. We are so happy we chose this location for our stay! We’ll definitely be back.

Great place to stay in Big Bend. The cabin is beautiful, extremely comfortable and has a great outdoor space to relax after a long day at Big Bend. If you have kids, it’s also a great place for them to relax/play/explore when they’re back. Our son made friends with kids from the other cabins and had a great time while we enjoyed the sunsets.

Do yourself a favor and book this place. This property is simply beautiful and what a treat is out there at night. The stars were beautiful out there. Would definitely recommend and would book again in the area!

I highly recommend this home! ⭐The cleaning staff are superstars! The hot tub is so relaxing after a day of hiking. The home and garden decor are beautiful. The entrance to BBNP is only a few minutes away. There are four wonderful patio areas (east sunrise, south courtyard/garden, west sunset, south hot tub). The carport makes unloading/loading your vehicle easier in any kind of weather. Kitchen is fully stocked. Home is very comfortable. Fantastic attention to detail. Our family of 4 from Ky rented the Stargazer when visiting Big Bend NP. We have stayed at national park base camps all over the US, and this definitely ranks as a favorite. It’s just so different from anything we’ve ever experienced. The mountain views, the amazing sunrises and the big, dark night sky were enjoyed beyond words by each of us. The accommodations took a little getting used to, but that should be expected when staying in airstreams in the middle of the desert. Come with an open mind! We also fell in love with Terlingua and met such nice people there. We really enjoyed the history and ambiance of the Starlight Theatre and Venga was so close for coffee and breakfast. It was a super quirky, quaint little spot full of local flair. Long Draw pizza was also a hit! We totally recommend this spot and would return again and again if it wasn’t so hard for us to get to ;-)

Thank you so much! It was a lovely Airstream, amazing location, walking distance to restaurant and town bar. Amenities were more than sufficient, everything was perfect to make us feel comfortable and good night's sleep to hit the trails early in the morning.

Penni’s place is heaven on earth to me! This was my second visit to the Desert Cabin. I was there 5 years ago, and couldn’t wait to one day return, and I finally got the opportunity. It was just as majestic as my first visit. The views are unbelievable, and the cabin is perfect for 2 people. Extremely clean. Since we had everything we needed, we didn’t leave the property at all for our 3 day visit. We enjoyed exploring the property, watching the wildlife, and relaxing. Any questions we had, Penni was quick to respond. I hope we get the chance to enjoy the peace and views this special place has to offer again someday. Thank You Penni for allowing folks like us to enjoy your unique and beautiful piece of Texas!

What a relief to be indoors after a long night camping in lightning and thunderstorms! Everything was great--perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Bed was very comfortable! Thank you, Brian and Sue!
