Our group enjoyed staying in the Taksim neighborhood! The apartments were clean and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay in Istanbul. The host helped with private transport and was always friendly.

Cute house in colourful neighbourhood, walking distance to tram. Our family of four enjoyed 3 nights here. House was clean and warm with easy check in. Host even had bread, milk and eggs in store for us on arrival which was appreciated after our long overnight journey. (Supermarket only 5 mins walk thereafter). 15 minute walk (steep hill) to tram then easy access within city. We loved the neighbourhood of Balat, the colourful houses give the area real character. Wish we had a longer stay, lots to see and do in city. If we return we would definitely book same property and would recommend to others. Thanks Ozkan!

My partner and I came to Istanbul for a short break between Christmas and New Year's. Filliz and Ali were extremely welcoming and helpful in their recommendations including great restaurants and places to get our favourite baclava! The place couldn't be more central being 10 minutes walk or less from sultanahamet square (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi etc.) and the Grand Bazaar. Could not recommend enough for anyone looking for a well priced and centrally located place to stay in Istanbul.

Book this if available. This is an incredible location -walking distance to the main historic attractions in Istanbul! Traveling with our 2 teens so setup was perfect. There are 3 floors of living space - so stairs need to be ok. Great bathrooms and comfortable beds. Go to Seven Hills restaurant around the corner for incredible views/photos and a good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!!

We stayed for 15 days in this place we loved it…It is in a very good spot has a wonderful welcoming neighborhood,everything is close to you from a bakery,supermarket,butcher,shops,restaurants,barber shops. It was a very beautiful stay and the only thing for sure is that we will come back. The owner always responded and at any time.This house hosted 9 people.We loved it and today our last day was sad.Wedidn't want to leave.I recommend100%.Thanks for everything!

I want to thank Asli for her hospitality and recommendations! She made our stay easier by organizing shuttles making it easy for us to get around at 8! She was always very responsive despite our many requests! And what to say about the building which is simply amazing so beautiful and well located! The view of Istanbul from the last floor is breathtaking! There were 8 of us and we all felt really good there! Another big thank you to our host! I would highly recommend this place!

The house shows up to I love the spaces. The furniture is great. I recommend the area, although initially we were a little skeptical, you are two minutes from the Balat neighborhood and the train is practically in front

We had a wonderful stay at this stylish and chic accommodation! The place was beautifully designed, and every corner had a touch of elegance. The only minor downside was that the shower head on the first floor was a bit loose, but it didn't impact our overall experience. The location was perfect, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, making it so convenient for us to explore. As cat lovers, we especially enjoyed being surrounded by friendly stray cats — a delightful bonus! Merve was an exceptional host, always helpful and attentive. We'd definitely stay here again. We spent 4 nights staying in Aleyna’s flat whilst visiting Istanbul. We loved the area of Balat with its colourful houses and choice of cafes. The flat is a 10 minute walk from the Fener tram stop on the T5 line and the same distance from the ferry stop and bus stop. It was really worth buying an Istanbulkarte to travel on the excellent public transport. The flat has 3 large bedrooms so we had plenty of space as a group of 3 friends. The shower is warm and powerful and the WiFi is good. We were walking distance from several restaurants. The flat is near the top of the hill in Balat so it has great views over the city. The house is on a quiet residential street and it was easy to find on Google Maps. Aleyna was quick to reply to all queries and always helpful.

The neighbourhood is super convenient to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Lots to do in the area. The apartment is clean and newly rennovated as described in the ad. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Excellent family stay. We had the entire place and no one was bothered. Emre's hospitality is much appreciated. Trust is mutual. All rooms are air-conditioned (which is a real plus) and thoughtfully appointed. The kitchen is well equipped. We highly recommend Tilas House!

Let’s start with Feyhan’s house . It was wonderful. Very well equipped with lovely bed linen and towels . The view from the terrace was spectacular . I could say lots of positives and more but our host Feyhan was the best . Very helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we appreciated her checking up on us in the early hours when we managed to set off the house alarm….sorry for that . I wouldn’t look anywhere else if visiting Istanbul. The location is perfect , not touristy but 10 mins on the tram and you are in the old part of the city . Very easy to get around if sightseeing Thank you Feyhan

Our family of 5 with 3 young adults stayed in this beautiful place and we enjoyed the close sights, public transport possibilities, cafes, restaurants and despite the central location, the quiet stay.

Beautiful, spacious house in a nice area of Istanbul. The ferry gets you to the center easily. We had an excellent stay!
