Guesthouse vacation rentals in Berkeley County

We had a great stay on Daniel Island. The neighborhood is quiet and attractive with miles of walking or biking paths. Beautiful pond 1 block away. The apartment is clean and bright, bed was super comfortable. Be prepared for a fairly long flight of stairs going up. The Charleston area has many great historical attractions plus many nice restaurants. We would recommend David and Shirlie’s place to anyone!

I travel a lot for work. I always look for peaceful places that feel safe and have beautiful surroundings (in the event that I get to enjoy them on a work trip). Mo was a clear and responsive host. Parking is so easy in this neighborhood. The space is even more spacious in person than I expected. Thanks, Mo!

This was a great spot. It was very comfortable in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We were welcomed with snacks and chilled water with plenty of coffee, teas, sugar and creamers. Plenty of soaps, lotions, towels, tissues, etc as well. Bed was comfortable as was the sofa. Lovely little sitting area out the front door. We were made to feel welcome and wanted. Info for future guests - We opted to use the bus system to get to downtown Charleston. It is a pleasant 15 minute (ish) walk to the bus stop - the number 10 bus. The Bus ride ($2 adults, $1 seniors) takes about an hour to the Meeting St./Mary St. bus stop which is a block away from the Visitors Center and the CARTA DASH bus - free - with many stops throughout Charleston. We did a Harbor Cruise and a Walking Tour in Charleston - both wonderful. Used Uber, about a $30 fare, to visit Boone Plantation another wonderful attraction. Thank you to Christopher & Vickie Marie for all the extra touches to make this a super stay!

I would definitely come back to this air bnb!! It was my first time booking one myself and it was so much easier than i imagined! Dave was very helpful and checked in to make sure everything was good. Sent me detailed instructions on how to get in. I felt safe because there were codes to get into the yard and to the guest house also. The actual guest house we stayed in was SOO nice! It was beautifully done. The attention to detail was great. I could tell they really spent time with the details that catered to guests. It was also unique - even the floor was cool! The double shower head was great and made showering easier! The place was very clean!! They had games you could play and a tv. The fridge was so nice and i love that it had a water/ ice machine. The furniture was so nice too! The location was great. We checked out North Charleston a couple times(3-5mins away) and downtown. Only 15-25 mins away from downtown Charleston which was cool! Also make sure to check out the beaches!

Jackie was so sweet and very responsive. I loved being here. It's so cute,clean and quiet. I felt better here than at home lol. The bed is so soft, the complimentary razors and benadryl saved my life and again Happy Birthday Jackie!!!!!

We had a great weekend stay! Highway is very close and easy access. It's 15-20 minutes to downtown Charleston, South to johns Island or North to mount pleasant. There are a handful of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes so you don't have to always deal with the traffic of going to the busier areas.

This was one of (if not the), cutest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at! Karyn and Russ are so kind, and the eggs and fresh baked bread were delicious. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and so well thought out. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and our pup did too! If we find ourselves in Charleston again, we would love to be back!

Roomy clean and comfortable studio in a location that made it easy to get to all of the attractions surrounding Charleston. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely perfect! Great location. Great host, responds immediately. Beautiful property close to everything but not on the main drag. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Great space, everything is new! I will be staying here again in the future.

We had an amazing time in Summerville, and staying at Joe’s place made us feel we were on vacation even while we were on vacation. The house itself is beautifully decorated with all the little touches which made it even more special. The house was very well stocked with items in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. The outdoor area was fantastic to sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. We were walking distance to town, and many great restaurants. Joe’s place is at the very top of our list!!

Welcoming, spacious, comfortable and everything you need. Enjoyed the natural, peaceful surroundings only a few minutes from historic Summerville. Perfect for our family of four with everyone having his/her own space. Easy drive to Charleston if timing is right. Holly is very responsive and helpful - much appreciated. :) Thank you for everything!!

Darlene’s place was cozy and comfortable in a private yet convenient location. She communicated well. The place is a terrific value. We would recommend Darlene as a host and her place with zero hesitation.

The carriage house was perfect for our short stay, and worked out perfectly for our family and our dog Blue. The space was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location was also central to all our destinations from beach to downtown. Jessie and Robin were great hosts with clear instructions for check in and out, and suggestions for dining out, as well as, activities in the area. Hope to return to Charleston and would book this property again!

My family and I enjoyed staying here. Candice and her husband were great, checked in on us to make sure all needs were met. My daughters enjoyed feeding the chickens and playing with the goats and cats. Property peaceful and relaxing. We would totally stay here again.

We booked this for a quick getaway to celebrate my birthday! The pool house is so cute and is the perfect size for 2 people. It takes about 20 min to get downtown and there are some great restaurants that are within walking distance. Kimberly is a great host and thought of all of the small things that made our stay even better. We can’t wait to stay again!

Jeremiah is an excellent host and the place was perfect for the two of us. We were visiting under rather stressful circumstances and this was a perfect calming place to recoup our energy in the am and pm. We were also pleasantly surprised with the beautiful view of the sunset from inside the apartment.

KC’s place was super homey and had all the amenities and household items we could’ve needed! The neighborhood is super cute and feels safe to walk & park in. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Charleston!! Thank you KC!

This is a great place to stay, clean and comfortable. New appliances and very well kept. High speed internet could work remotely and great TV. Location was nice, had a country feeling with woods in the back- saw deer at night. Highly recommend for a getaway for 1-2 people. Host was great, this was my first time using the app and I wasn’t familiar with all the functions, and they were helpful with check in process (I didn’t realize it was all well explained in the bottom tabs in the app). Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful 7 day stay At Susan’s cottage while we were waiting to close on our home. In Summerville. The cottage was in a great location and was charming, comfortable, and peaceful. We had our dog Beau with us and all felt right at home. The cottage was nicely equipped with everything we needed including many special touches. We highly recommend Susan’s cottage for anyone who is looking for a memorable stay in Summerville.

We were really happy with Michelle's and Jim's place. It was perfect for our time at the Charleston Open on Daniel Island: very private & quiet, really comfortable and it had absolutely everything we'd want for a comfortable few days. The location was convenient to everything we planned on doing and we'd definitely stay there again.

We arrived as a tropical storm was affecting the local area with unusual flooding. We were offered an alternative cottage which was an up grade. that had less puddles to transverse without additional charges. Classic southern hospitality and kindness. Very lovely and welcoming stay.

I love the area of this cottage. The historic homes are such a treat to see. Access to the downtown square is convenient and getting to the major roadways was easy as well.

When we first walked in, it was exactly what I expected from the description and pictures. It was everything we needed for a working weekend. The parking was well lit and very convenient literally right at the door. Very quiet and safe. Robyn and Dewayne were attentive host and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed.
