The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

There were three of us on vacation with a dog in this beautiful apartment and we couldn't have met it better. The apartment has a magnificent view and is in the sunshine from morning to evening. A cozy place with soul. Simply fantastically beautiful. Elisabetta & Mattia were great hosts, with great tips on the surroundings. We recovered superbly and had feelings of spring over New Year's Eve thanks to the great location & pure sun. Clear recommendation!

Very nice home with amazing views.

The stay was very pleasant, Enrico is very kind and helpful, we arranged easily for check-in/out and technical things. In winter, there's little chance to eat out; the place has everything you need so we were able to cook nudely at home. The accommodation is slightly cold (January) but with a stove and heaters that have made the house warm and comfortable. The house is very close to the dam, within walking distance with a very nice path. Lots of walking and on-time bus service. The house is on the side of the mountain that has sunshine even in winter. Absolutely recommended!

Zeno is very helpful, and responds quickly. the property was as described. In a lovely location, it's about a 5 minute walk from the parking, there are steep stairs on the walk. The house itself was specious and comfortable.

A very nice accommodation with very well-kept outdoor facilities for a perfect quiet stay on Lake Como! Great for a stay with young children. We will be happy to come back once :)

since we were already here last year, of course we already knew everything. For us, the few days were very relaxing again and we would come back anytime. the apartment is spread over 3 floors but that did not bother us. also that no TV is available, we can only see as an advantage. Sometimes away from everyday life and all the luxury stuff. There are plenty of other possibilities in Ticino. That's luxury enough. Thank you, gladly again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The pool was great, and not shared with too many people. The views were lovely. The location is a ten minute drive from Luino, but there are a couple of good restuarants and a small supermarket within a short walk. It's very quiet and peaceful. The only slight issue is that we were expecting fans in all the bedrooms, but they had only provided one. However this was rectified the same day we reported it. It certainly needs fans when it's hot!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We spent 3 days on New Year's Eve 2025. Three families with kids. We had a great time. Lara welcomed us warmly at check-in and gave us all the directions to better manage the house, including a stove, jacuzzi and Finnish tub. Clean and complete environments. Super equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Spotless and comfortable rooms. Various children's games and books for moments of relaxation; availability of Sky, Netflix and Disney+. Wood and barbecue available. Priceless view of Lake Como from one side and the mountain on the other side. Great location: quite isolated to be quiet and not to bother anyone but still 5 minutes from the center of the village; less than 10 minutes away we found a very well-stocked shopping center. Really great and recommended experience, to try again in summer with the possibility of also using the outdoor pool. GREAT

Apartment was very good,very clean and warm like at home. The ownes very friendly,they give as something from the farm for free and they respond you for everything. I have it a bad luck because was raining every day but still the place was beautiful. I recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at Maria Luisa's place. The apartment had everything we needed, and the setting was absolutely stunning. The open kitchen was perfect for rustling up a quick dinner while staying part of the conversation. Although the view was hidden by fog at first, it cleared to reveal the full beauty of Lago Maggiore - an unforgettable sight! Maria Luisa was very helpful and responsive, making our family break even more enjoyable. Thank you for a great stay!

We spent three wonderful nights at this chalet nestled in the heights of Lake Como, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. It was a haven of peace, surrounded by nature and animals, away from any urban noise or traffic. Absolute calm allowed us to really recharge our batteries. The cottage was warm and very nice, a real cocoon that my mother and I loved. Only small downside: the bed a little noisy when we moved, but nothing that spoiled our stay. The hosts were adorable, very welcoming and thoughtful, even going so far as helping us unload the car. We would definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway in an idyllic setting!

Maya's house is quaint, very quiet and well equipped. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped, large shower with neat water pressure. The beds are large and comfortable. The house sits on the edge of a mountain village and - which is pleasant especially in nice weather - a lot of sunlight throughout the day! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We spent the year 2024/2025 in the picturesque, snowy village of Elm – a true winter dream! Less than a year in advance, we had booked the apartment and everything went smoothly, from the reservation to arrival. The spacious apartment was excellently equipped. In addition to the usual furnishings such as a coffee machine and all the necessary kitchen utensils, we also found extras that made the stay extra cozy: a raclette oven and a fondue chaud were available – perfect for social evenings after a long day in the snow. The location of the apartment was ideal: quiet location, with a breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains yet close enough to easily reach the ski slopes as well as the retailers. Everything was clean and lovingly maintained. Our stay was completely successful, many thanks to Andrea.

Large, very functional and perfectly clean accommodation. Many hikes in the immediate vicinity, lakes can be reached in 10 min by car. Decoration that gives a soul to the home. We had a great stay at Marco's.

We felt at home at Reinhard and Elisangela's place, they were very friendly while respecting our privacy and the house was, as described, low-key but had all the necessary amenities and above all in a great location, close to the lake in a quiet and relaxing area while still well connected by public transport to larger cities such as Zurich. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place for families with young children.

The house sleeps 4 people and is very well located as you can easily walk to the nearest grocery store as well as the beach. The car can always be easily parked in the 2 private parking spaces of which one is covered. The beach has plenty of trees and therefore enough shade. The beachfront restaurant sells delicious pizza and other food. The place is very nice for walking and we were even lucky enough to have a city festival.
