Joe’s house was perfect for our sibling weekend trip! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived! The home was comfortable and tastefully decorated. We were very impressed by the kitchen which had everything you could possibly need, including spices, plastic wrap, storage containers, etc., plenty of dishes, silverware and glassware. Lots of little touches such as a coffee and tea station w/creamer and sugar, S'more gift bag. We loved the big island which was great for gathering around, w ample seating. The large dining table sat eight and was perfect for playing games. We really enjoyed using the vinyl record player and the fun selection of albums. The beds were comfortable w USB ports on nightstands. Showers were great. We didn't use the fire pit or outdoor-spaces because it was too chilly for us, but the space appeared nice. Joe and Nadine have provided everything you'd possibly need throughout the entire house, plus lots of special touches. We highly recommend staying here!!

We absolutely loved this Willow Lake oasis! Perfect for a few middle aged moms to have a weekend away. Bright, spacious, peaceful, well stocked amenities, things labeled and easy to find, comfy beds and chill spaces, literally everything we needed and a great collection of funny mugs and community pantry cabinet to top it off. We would love to return here for another weekend of R&R, or with our families. Any time of year, this place is a gem. Host Roger was always so responsive - answered questions before the trip, checked in via message to make sure all ok during. We will be back!

What a great little cottage! Cozy living area with little fireplace and comfortable seating. Perfectly appointed kitchen area stocked with coffee and tea selection. Ample closet space. Large bedroom with king bed and good mattress! Huge bathroom with heated floor, soaking jetted tub and separate walk-in shower plus towel warming rack! Each day finds a breakfast basket containing assortment of cereal, juices, yogurt, milk, and sweet bread. Upon arrival I found a bottle of wine and an assortment of cheese and crackers and fruit!! Add the responsive staff and you have the perfect place to relax and enjoy Lake Geneva. I'll definitely be back. I know a treasure when I find it.

My son turned 11 and we took the family up for a weekend to ski. It was too cold to enjoy more than 1 day outside so we were able to enjoy the games that were provided. Such a great time. Would love to come back when the weather isn’t -17 windchill. Would love to enjoy the hot tub and hammocks and fire pit. But Jenni is helpful and responsive.

Beautiful home with ample space for our group of 10! It was our first Christmas without my mother and we decided as a family to spend our holiday somewhere new. The owner of the house made sure we had everything we needed and went over and beyond to make the house look festive! Despite it being winter, there were a lot of things to do. We made use of the beautiful game room, played cards, board games, shot pool and had our daily movie night in one of the two large family rooms. We had such a great experience despite my family’s loss that we are thinking of returning next year!

Great family home for 3 couples and 2 children. Beds were very comfortable and the house was well supplied. The bins of toys were a big hit with our toddlers. Would stay again when we come to visit family in Rockford.

Beautiful house and so comfortable inside and out. My bestie and my dog were in Lake Geneva for the weekend and very much enjoyed The Clean Slate. The weather was perfect! The house was just as described. Highly recommended!!!!

The stay was amazing! The house was super clean, a lot of space, & had so many useful amenities. There were 9 of us who stayed & felt like there was enough space for us all very comfortably. The location was nice due to being super close to restaurants & stores. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone!

We had a fantastic stay! The location was incredibly convenient, just a short distance from great restaurants and our ski/snowboarding resort, which made everything so easy. The place was very well kept, cozy, and had plenty of space—perfect for our small family staying for two nights. The host was wonderful—attentive, helpful, and quick to communicate, which we really appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!
