We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Terje and Hanne are great hosts. Clear, proactive and responsive while making you feel welcome. The house is very well located and fully aligned with descriptions/photos. We had a very pleasant stay and recommend this place.

Incredibly nice home, with beautiful details. It's shown that this home belongs to a family with a sense of aesthetics. Well decorated with everything one might desire. Comfortable heated pool, with beautiful outdoor area. Nice and welcoming host. Large rich center nearby. The only thing we missed was the possibility of cooling off bedrooms. Highly recommended.

Kjetil’s was an absolutely wonderful host. He really did go above and beyond when it come to ensuring we had all we had for our stay. Local recommendations a plenty, we hiked the kings view, experienced the local Glassworks factory (way more there than you think!) and spend a lovely morning on the island across the bridge where we swam and bathed in a beautiful secluded spot followed by lunch at the golf course. The home itself is spacious and the views are incredible. The pool is heated and the morning and evening calm on the rooftop patio were wonderful. Our kids played for hours and you really do have to pinch yourself at the views. As with the previous review, perhaps a little storage space for unpacking would be nice, but it didn’t bother us too much. The locals are so kind, genuine and just have a calming presence about them and we (4 adults and 6 kids) all had the most wonderful time. Thank you Kjetil!

A beautiful house which worked perfectly for our family of 7. Freshly renovated to a high standard. Kids loved the pool and it was great to have the ability to have a boat docked at the house. Amazing view. All in all a great experience.

We had a great time in Øistein's apartment. Comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you could need. It is located in a beautiful residential area, just a few minutes' walk from the metro. Øistein is an extremely kind and helpful host. If we go back to Oslo, we'll definitely contact him.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

We had a wonderful stay. Our host Erik was extremely responsive and generous and the stayt was fully worth the money. The place was super nice and cozy and clean. We hope to be able to return again and can warmly recommend not just Erik but beautiful Oslo also.

Great house and great location. We arrived early and were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling water while sitting in the garden. The welcome bottle of sparkling wine was also very much appreciated. We recommend this lovely house.

A lovely house with everything you need. Marie was very welcoming and incredibly helpful. We had many nice bike rides in Oslomarka, and for that, the house is perfectly located.

We had an absolutely fantastic 3-night stay at Mitra’s place, and what’s even more impressive is that we booked it with less than a day’s short notice! Mitra was incredibly accommodating, even offering us an early check-in to match our early flight, which made everything so much easier. From the moment we arrived, Mitra was warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house was perfect — cozy, clean, and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and spent hours soaking up the sun on the dock while admiring the stunning Oslofjord. It was an absolute highlight of our trip. One of the unique touches that made our stay extra special was the instruments and JBL stereo in the living room. We had such a great time playing music by the water, creating memories that we’ll cherish for a long time. Thank you, Mitra, for your amazing hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. Thomas made sure everything needed in the house is available. He respond effectively in a short time. The place is very nice for families. The location of the house is excellent and close to Oslo and many other places. The neighborhood is clean and quit with easy access to the highways.

For our short stay, a very nice house! Since it is a private house, there is hardly any space for your own things. For 5 people, I thought it was fine for a few days but not longer. It is a very nice residential area and you have good bus connections to the city! Christine provided a detailed description of the area, public transport, recommendations and much more. I always received timely and very friendly feedback.

Worth it for the stunning view. As others have said its like staying in your grandparents house but that is part of its charm. The drive is steep but not that bad. Per responded well to enquiries.
