House vacation rentals in Bedford

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, spacious lakefront home! The lake was perfect for swimming, and we spent hours each day enjoying the water. The well-appointed kitchen made it easy to cook meals for our group of 9, and the location was ideal—just 10 minutes from grocery stores. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We are so grateful to Katelyn & Lee for helping us pull off a magical experience for our family (17 total) who spent 6 days at this gorgeous property. The Anchorage House has plenty of space to gather & lots of nooks for small groups or privacy. There are amble bathrooms, which is essential for a big group. The hot tub was delightful-hosts even stopped by to freshen it mid-stay. They recommended a local caterer, the Savary Plate, who provided incredible meals, but the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for a large group (which we did one night) and even has a commercial dishwasher! The location is perfect-we made day trips to Lunenburg, Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and Digby for whale watching—not to mention local beaches minutes away. But we were just as enchanted sitting on the porch or down on the dock (evening kayaking). If characters were unlimited, I could go on and on about this wonderful property, but I also must mention the thoughtfulness of our hosts who felt like friends.

WFP &J.P were amazing. We were delighted with our stay and fell in love with Nova Scotia. The animals were an extra unexpected. Gustave will be very bored of Maple. Small review THAT IS NOT A REVIEW. The fridge isn't very big so don't do too big a grocery every time. We arrived with too many things and didn't get in. But again, it's no big deal. There's a grocery store nearby. Sounds good. Just don't have to plan too far in advance if you have a big family like mine. The pool is extraordinary!!!!! Close to lots of beautiful beaches . We had a great time with the family!!!

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden! Helen’s was a great host. Her air bnb was beautiful and cozy. We enjoyed our stay in Halifax. The home is located in a nice quiet neighbourhood and it was easy to access shopping, dinning and site seeing in down town Halifax. We will definitely stay here again! Nothing but 5 🌟.

Our family had a very positive experience staying over the Christmas holidays in Alexander’s Airbnb. We found it to be very spacious and in a quiet and walkable area of Wolfville. It was a great place to spend our week and I would recommend it to others who are visiting the Valley.

I would definitely 💯 recommend this beautiful property and his owner Justin!! Fully equipped kitchen for cooking! Bbq outside as well as a fantastic 6 man hot tub which we throughly used and enjoyed. Fire pit was an added bonus. One of the absolute best air bnbs we’ve stayed at and we travel extensively for work all across Canada. Cheers

It's exactly what we expected based on pics and reviews. We traveled during winter so many ammenities were not available, but price was adjusted to reflect that. Gorgeous design, textures, and attention to detail. Felt a lot like home to us. The driveway is steep, but doable. The only notes I have.....a garment rack in the master bedroom would have been helpful as most closet doors are locked. Looking forward to coming back in the summer!

My sister and I treated each other to a holiday sleepover in the woods and it was perfect. The sauna was the best part, but everything was lovely. Will absolutely come back.

I can't say enough about the house. Better than we expected. Lovely bed linens, great pillows, fluffy towels. kitchen equipped with basic needs. Location was great and having a parking spot was awesome. Matthew was a fab host and very responsive. We are moving home to NS in the next while and will be here more often so plan to stay with Matthew again.

We had such a wonderful time at Anni’s. She made us feel so welcome and even left out some snacks and drinks which was a great touch. We communicated throughout the trip for various reasons and she was always extremely accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Great space. A little smelly/stuffy when I first got in but they provided an air wick which helped. You can hear footsteps upstairs but they are quiet and the place feels about as private as a basement suite without private access can feel. Hosts were great and very helpful. I'd stay again. Not much to do in the area and no restaurants/cafes nearby so make sure you have a means of transportation!

The accommodation was value for money. Very warm and comfortable. It was clean and well maintained. Would recommend whole heartedly.

A decent overall. Priced well and is as advertised. Had a problem figuring out the TV but Yosra sorted it out for us immediately. The location is convenient and has parking.

This place exceeds all expectations, it has all you need and more. My family and I felt so comfortable and cozy. Courtney was extremely kind and always willing to help. A big thank you, we were really spoiled by them. Definitely we'll be back soon!

Had a wonderful stay! Courtney’s place was perfect for what we needed. In the city for a hockey tournament so the location was handy to the rink! Appreciate the kitchen was well stocked with essentials and there were tons of towels! Courtney was very responsive and accommodating Will definitely be back!

Alex and his house are amazing. I would give Alex 10 Stars out of 5 if I could. He was very accommodating and very responsive to us before, and during our stay. The house is well equipped throughout, including the kitchen to do everything you need. The view is out of this world and is like something from a movie. The rooms are spacious, the living areas are perfect to relax and look at the Atlantic Ocean whilst ships cruise past. Access to the beach was easy and the little peninsula has a fireplace that just completes the whole package. It is private and just what we needed. I highly recommend Alex and his spectacular house for anyone and everyone!

My family had the coziest few days here. Incredible location, almost unbelievable honestly. We hope to come back next year :)
