It was quite good. Interested host, responded right away. Check in and check out was very easy.

I think the best Airbnb we stay in it in Turkey he made sure every item that people need. It’s there in their friendly.

We stayed at this property for eight days. From start to finish it was a positive experience, with great support from Chris including answering questions, transport suggestions, help with left luggage, etc. Chris was also quick to respond and always looking to swiftly answer questions or provide information. We've found that responsive and helpful host to be super-important with Airbnb. The wifi was not as we expected but we understand this is just about to change (Jan 2025). Local transport links were great with Ayvansaray tram stop and bus both a minute or two away. The local area is full of character, hugely historical, and also very walkable. No problems also getting taxis from this location. Supermarket and bread shop also a couple of minutes up the street. If you're considering an authentic yet safe area to stay this could be the option for you. We have three kids and never felt anything but safe. When we return to Istanbul we know where we'll be heading. Thank you!

I would be happy to come back. I like the area in Balat. It's not as original as it is, tourism arrives there as well. But Kevin can't help it. I can only recommend the place. Keep it up. 👍

We had a great stay at this place, we rented the whole place so it felt extremely private and comfortable. The place looks exactly like in the pictures and everything fits the description. Denis was extremely helpful with all the questions and quick to respond. Even allowed us to stay a bit longer to check out due to later fly times so we can walk around the neighborhood and grab some food before the flight. Location was amazing in comparison to how big Istanbul is. There is a local street market and food and coffee places 10min walk away as well as small supermarket just around the corner. But if you just want to relax, the terrace with a dome is the spot with a great view. All in all, for the price we paid, this was an amazing place to stay and would recommend it to anyone going to Istanbul.

Perfect! Usually we only stay overnight in Airbnb suite. But this time our kids med their grandparents, so we spent a lot of time in the apt. There are many bedrooms, many bathrooms, a separate dining room, a separate living room with a smartTV where kids found cartoons in their native language, and a lovely cozy lounge with a reading chair. Everything is clean, well-equipped (air AirConds, friges, hotel-grade hairdryers, etc.) and stylishly decorated. Really! So much farfor and paintings, chosen with pretty good taste. I'm impressed. And then there's the private patio. We didn't use it properly, but our smoking grandfather really appreciated it: it's not like you're in the house, but not outside - there are comfortable chairs and a canopy. As for location: 2min to store, 5 - to bus stop, but we used T5 tram - 7min, to the Chora - 15. The owners are super: always on call and ready to offer help. E.g. for the parents they called a cab, which was a quarter cheaper than thru App. Tnx))
