Doug's place is absolutely wonderful! You have to stay here! Check-in was a breeze, basically you just show up and come inside. Doug is accessible if needed. This house is even better in person than in the photos -- it's super cozy and comfy, especially the beds. Everything is clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked, I cannot think of a thing we need that wasn't there. We will definitely come back in the future.

The posted description accurately describes the Carrage House Cottage (CHC). The first thing we experienced was the spaciouness of the cottage and uncluttered furnishings. The kitchen has everything one needs to prepare full and light meals. The CHC is located high on a hill between downtown and the college. There is ample off-street parking and the neighborhood seems secure and is quiet for peaceful sleep. We recommend taking a flashlight with you if you walk downtown (about 0.3 miles) at night. Being on a hill the walk downtown includes sidewalk steps that are sometimes not uniform and difficult to see. Outstanding hiking trails are nearby and the CHC provides a comfortable place to rest after exploring the Gila Forest. Dogs are welcome! We will ask to return later this year to continue our exploration of the area. Thank you.

I absolutely loved my stay at Sandra's cottage - so peaceful and restorative. It's a nature lover's dream with bird-watching, private hot-tub, clear skies and stars so bright and beautiful. The cottage itself has heated floors, it's warm and relaxing with comfortable furniture and beds. The extra touches made this place 5-stars - Sandra's friendliness, fresh baked bread, fresh eggs and fruit. I felt right at home and had everything I could want for my 2-day stay.

I like airbnb because it sometimes allows me to stay somewhere I would otherwise never get to know. Cheryl's place is in an unusual location and staying in her place gives a very small sense of what it would be like to live on the outskirts of Silver City. The starry sky was beautiful and I really appreciated the wood stove (but only succeeded one night in getting it going). I also really liked the sense of an older (adobe?) home, it's more curved lines. The Mimbres Cultural Heritage site was closed when I visited but I still enjoyed my time there alone, and crept down to the river, which was special. Very memorable experience. Thank you.

This place was great- quiet spot but very close to town. Alex was super responsive with communications and suggestions. I would absolutely recommend this place to others and would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights. We were in Silver City to visit friends. The cottage was very comfortable and warm. All instructions were clear and accurate. The hosts were responsive and helpful.

We felt at home, not stressed about “being in someone else’s home” & had all my questions answered when asked. Definitely coming back.

Absolutely fabulous! Beautiful environment, gorgeous views, a peaceful place for recharging! Delightful and welcoming, not to mention a great book collection in the Raven Suite.
