This place is gorgeous and a perfect location, easy walk to town and wharf. The place has a beautiful large deck that was excellent for relaxing with wonderful views. But Mary went above and beyond by leaving us some light groceries and even a bottle of wine which was such a wonderful welcome gift! Beautiful stay, definitely recommend it! Susan, Dallas Tx

This is by far the best place my husband and I have stayed ! Anneke has an amazing eye for style the studio is designed to perfection ! It is beautiful - peaceful and comfortable ! From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and calm, it was exactly what we needed ! The view is 'out of this world' to watch and hear the waves crashing is sooo nourishing for the soul - everyday is soo different - different colours and sounds - we loved making a cup of tea and sitting and making the most of the environment ! Some days we didn't leave the studio as it's so restful ! Anneke is very a kind considerate host and i would highly recommend this accommodation - my husband and I are hoping to come back soon ! We absolutely loved our stay - it was super clean and the hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The little details made all the difference - we were left free range eggs, bread, spreads and milk/juice. Would definitely stay again!

Hayley had great communication and was pleasant to deal with. I loved the location and how peaceful it was and to top it off I did not have to leave for food as Hayley had already provided a selection of snacks with great selection of drinks suffice enough (sweets, savoury, biscuits, breakfast, juice) and would be one of the best stocled pantrys ive seen in all of the accommodation I have stayed. Simple and elegant.

Really great place to stay for Bay of Islands. Nice small town feel but close to everything. Spacious and very comfortable flat with welcoming touches even warm homemade rye bread. Kerry very kind, informative and flexible. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay when visiting Russell, close to gas station, town centre. The views are phenomenal to sit and have breakfast.

Linda is a very sincere host, and the location of the property was in a fabulous spot - really scenic. A very comfortable bed too for a weary traveller!! Linda's accommodation is a lovely, peaceful haven.

Jennie’s place is set in a beautiful garden with a rural feel yet you are able to walk into town in a few minutes. Both Jennie and her husband are very friendly and responsive to any need you might have. The place is comfortable and has its own entrance. We felt very welcomed there and the provided breakfast was above all our expectations! And, they gave us a ride to the airport, too! Would not hesitate to stay there again!

Very special place in the middle of the forest. Exhuberant vegetation, vegetables and fruits ready to harvest. Kind company always ready to help. Authentic vintage atmosphere. Three hens, one ruster and five friendly dogs (usually only two small ones). Don't miss it !

Worth spending three nights here. Very welcoming and helpful. Gave me very good tips for the daily activities and what to see. But mostly important I felt like at home. I hope to come back one day. I huge recommend it❤️

Gill was a lovely host who was very helpful with any queries and information. The suite was comfortable, quiet, clean, the breakfast offerings were good, and it was a short, easy walk into the centre of town. The beach was less than a block away and there is a great trail to Opua from the end of the beach. As a solo traveler it was also nice that Gill accompanied me on a few outings in the area. I highly recommend Gill and her BnB!

Rosemary and Don are very nice hosts , easy to get along with. the house is cozy and well decorated, I had a lovely stay and unforgettable experience here 🥰
