What an absolutely beautiful home! We recently stayed at David’s home for our wedding in the Yarra Valley. The pictures honestly did not do the home or the view justice. It’s absolutely incredible and was perfect for our group to stay the night before the wedding and then get ready on the day. David made it easy to check-in on the day of arrival and very generously provided us with bacon and eggs as well as some things for a cheeseboard which we absolutely loved. Very thoughtful. The home itself was just amazing, the pool is incredible and the view is stunning. We wished we could have stayed longer. We had a very minor problem with the front gate but we messaged David and he responded immediately and arrived within 10 minutes. Very responsive and very helpful. Thanks so much David!

Ten adults in their 50’s go away every year for the Labour Day weekend it’s close to pubs, restaurants and bars, a wonderful period home. Pool was great as it was hot, but would also love a stay in winter with the wood fire heating. All in all, we had a fantastic time! Beds comfortable, place clean, plenty of kitchen and dining amenities. Finally, the place is big but still cozy. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

The bestest place to stay . Plenty of space for all 6 people including pool , undercover outdoor area , on the gorgeous verandah as well as inside . So happy !!😃❤️

Lovely home in a beautiful location. Endless added touches like fresh bread, milk, eggs and bacon, butter and jam for a delicious country breakfast. Amazingly well appointed. This is such a beautiful spot with a really calming energy. Spent two nights here and really felt the “bush getaway” energy we were after. Even though it’s close proximity to the main house you can’t tell and it is extremely clean and well styled, top quality sheets with comfortable beds. Highly recommend and the breakfast bundle was a beautiful touch. Great tea selection too! Loved it!

The property was stunning, a beautiful home on a beautiful farm with cows and free range chickens. Kids and I loved hunting for the chicken eggs each day and the swimming pool was amazing in the dry country heat! Sue provided detailed instructions to find the property which I was grateful for Google maps would’ve added 20 mins onto the already long trip if I didn’t have Sue’s directions guiding me!

Lovely stay in serene surroundings with a great deck for bbqs and games. Family loved the play area and football table, and feeding the beautiful birds out of our hands was a highlight. Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely private retreat with nice views. We travelled with an accredited assistance dog, Jonathan was very accepting and kind. The house was beautiful and clean with a relaxing vibe. Beds were comfortable with a variety of pillows. The bathroom was clean and modern. Cocktails on the porch laying in the hammock is a must. There is no TV in the communal areas only 1 in one of the bedrooms however being surrounded by nature there was no need for one. I would recommend for a quiet retreat. Thank you for having us.

What a wonderful, peaceful location overlooking the stunning Yarra Valley; whilst being so close to all that you needed. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely accommodation with breakfast supplies provided for which we enjoyed out on the deck. Highly recommend

What a wonderful place to stay! The house was absolutely spotless, the linen provided was excellent quality. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want, lots of space in bedrooms and living areas. Everything is in walking distance, the house is very private and quiet. Exceeded our expectations in every way, thank you so much for an effortless weekend away. The personal touch of having some food and wine to enjoy was an unexpected surprise.

We loved staying at Mel’s Castle house. Being fans of The Castle it was a must we stayed here. The house had all things Castle related and didn’t disappoint. From booking to checking in Mel made it all easy with prompt communication and clear instructions. The house was clean, comfy and had a great view of the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great family stay at Michael’s house. The pool was a great feature which we all loved in the heat. The house is really well appointed and comfortably suited our needs. It’s not located close to shops or amenities but a short drive will get you into town. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Super clean with everything you need and walking distance from town and main attractions. As a family of 5 we had plenty of room to spread out. Lovely touches like fresh milk in the fridge, personal welcoming note and a surprise bottle of delicious local bubbles. (Thank you !) We enjoyed the al fresco area for a quiet drink in the evenings. Highly recommend if you're looking for a family friendly home away from home in Bright. Kim and Jacqui were amazing to deal with also.

Michael was very helpful in organising us to check in earlier as we were attending a wedding. The house was lovely and cool when we arrived which we appreciated being a very hot day. Great to find a place that you can book for one night. Wonderful kitchen facilities which we didn't get to use but looked well equipped. Slight noise through the walls from next door but nothing too disturbing. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Nice view from the deck. Thank you.

A group of girlfriends & myself stayed in Fleur & Simon’s place for a wedding. Their home exceeded our expectations. It was cosy & peaceful. We all agreed that the photos just don’t do the home’s beauty justice. Thanks for having us all 👼🏼

A lovely property and easy distance to town provided you were happy with a bit of a hill on the way back. The balcony was excellent, with great views. Lots of birdlife to watch from there too. The interior was really well laid out for two couples, and the lounge/dining space was very spacious. We would highly recommend the property to others.
