Cabin vacation rentals in Barbeau

Charming and Cozy in an amazing location! I plan to return in the summer and enjoy the beach, fire pit, rockhounding, watching the freighters and exploring. The location is a great launching point for many day trips within an hour or two of the cabin. And the beach access really is steps away from the door! We played outside all day and then played Catan and Uno at night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is an entertainment center set up with Roku and a dvd player with movies and some games. The beds were both very comfortable with quality linens and blankets and great pillows. The porch is darling, birdfeeders all around and lanterns and lights for night. Kelly was the perfect host, very quick to respond, knowledgeable of the area, and a pleasure to communicate with! I highly recommend this cabin for one or two people. Perfect for a cozy getaway, beach fun and day trips. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Great little cabin on Basswood Lake. Have been to this location before and loved it everytime; has an awesome view of the stars at night. Place was tidy and clean upon arrival. Christina was a great host who checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed!

You cannot go wrong with Limber Lost Lodge. Easy access, very clean and organized cabin and surroundings, hiking trails, free access to their kayaks, water bikes, paddle boards, etc. Whether for a weekend or longer, I would definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay on the lake. Had a bonfire and saw the northern lights from the backyard.! Ran in to an issue but the answering service and host were very friendly and responsive, got it solved quickly. Would recommend

Had a wonderful stay. Susan was very helpful with local recommendations and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Great location for snowmobiling. Very central location to head in all directions. We rode right from there and put on about 500 miles in 3 days. Very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided.

Our stay was perfect! Michelle was very responsive to any questions and the house was comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay there again!

This is my second stay at Don's family camp, and I'll continue to book here when it's available. Don is one of the most responsive hosts I've know, and I've stayed in over 30 Airbnb's. If you're looking for something remote, but still have basic amenities plus a couple extra perks like a sauna and outdoor fire pit ... this is the place. If phone and internet service are critical, you might want to look south of the Mackinac Bridge. For my needs, I hope Don and his family continue to share their camp.

Don and Jackie were amazing!! always available and willing to help with any questions I had. this was my second stay in their gorgeous cabin with the most amazing view of the lake from the top floor. Bed was extremely comfortable and it was perfect for my husband and to stay for our 2 week visit. highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Went to snowmobile, great house, easy to get to trails, great drive way to pull a trailer into and turn around at the house, made things very easy...will stay there again, thank you...

Rae’s place was one of a kind. Perfect to enjoy quality time with the family. We loved the private beach area. And certainly had a lot of fun in the water with the canoe and kayaks. Rae was very attentive and went out of her way to help us find a vet in the area to see our puppy. Everyone in the island was super friendly. I recommend Ends Trail if you are looking for a place to relax and truly disconnect from everything.

The property was ideal for our group of 15 for our family reunion. Lots of property to play outdoor games and although we had our own water toys, they had plenty to rent if needed. The waterfront was ok but because the water levels were low, it tended to be a bit weedy but we did swim and kayak- the lake is nice. There were only a few small items that came up but Kate was responsive and handled them right away. Would recommend this place! Nice spot.

We had a lovely stay at Cody and Jenny’s place. The view was amazing, the sound of the waves were very soothing. It was nice to be able to sit back, relax and enjoy the view of the lake. The house looked just like the pictures and the view was spectacular. With the cooler temperatures outside the house stayed nice and warm inside. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook our meals and of course, morning coffee. The fire pit and the deck by the shoreline was a nice addition to the property. We spent time visiting different places in town and one of the local sandy beaches. Walking the shore line can be a little tricky with the big rocks but we were able to find some nice rocks to bring home. We will definitely be back again.

If you are planning a visit to Whitefish Point area, I strongly suggest staying at "The Bear Den". Amanda and Jason have put a lot of time into the place and it shows. They are A+ host IMO. Both of them are easy too communicate with, check in / check out was a breeze. The online concierge is very useful tool with loads of valuable information. The home and location made for a perfect Base Glamp with my group of outdoor adventurers. Hardest part of the experience was convincing myself it was time to leave. One Destination I definitely plan on returning too.

The place was private and quiet. The bedrooms were spacious with private bathrooms. It was spacious for a large family gathering. Perfect place for our yearly family gathering.

What a great house along with fantastic hosts. Everything you need is provided for your stay. The location is perfect for seeing the wonderful sights in Northern Michigan., We loved every minute at the house and were sad to leave. You will not find a better home base with all the beauty that surrounds this Paradise Lake home. We will return. Thanks Stacy for the great communication and your lovely home.
