We stayed here during the first week in September. We loved the place it was spotless had a great view of the sunrise each morning and very good location. It is close to the Hulls Cove visitor center in Acadia national park and to downtown Bar Harbor. The place is located in a quiet and peaceful area and has a great deck where we enjoyed a glass of wine after a entire day of hiking or sightseeing.

We loved staying at Colie's apartment. The location was perfect! The fact that it was comfortable and clean made a big difference to us - we stayed inside quite a bit since the weather was bitter cold. Communicating with Colie was easy. I highly recommend Colie's place!

This was our third stay at Pam’s place. Her place is clean, private and quiet. The bed is super comfortable and the apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Pam is always responsive and available for questions.

What a cozy, beautifully furnished and decorated space. A lot of thought went into making guests feel they’re staying somewhere very special. We certainly did. The second floor apartment with its spacious deck had a view of the ocean and some spectacular sunrises. This was our first visit to Maine and we wanted somewhere central on the coast, like Owl’s Head. It was a good base to explore from. And there was lots to do close by. We were especially pleased to discover the Bernard Langlais art preserve only a few miles away. Rockland is ten minutes away and has a lot of great places to eat.

Very responsive and helpful host. Cozy and clean place, with plenty of room for four. Had everything we needed, especially with last minute work plans. Close enough to everything in Bangor, yet away from the traffic for quiet nights. Will come again if plans and dates align.

This is a great property! It's centrally located, clean, spacious, and everything we needed was on hand. The parking is convenient and free. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. Being from Texas, we thought we might be cold at night, but the apartment is very well insulated and we never felt a chill anywhere. And Rich is a great host! He always friendly, and responded quickly to questions and requests. The next time we're in Bangor visiting family, we'll try to stay here!

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

Perfect place for a couple. Small and cozy. Near downtown with cafes, stores, restaurants and close drive to many other towns with walking, hikes, nature, beaches. Host is friendly and responsive.

Nancy's place was perfect for our trip to Maine! We drove to Acadia from here and it was about an hour drive. The apartment was cozy and had a great view, she had everything well stocked and even provided coffee which I appreciated since I forgot to bring some!! Highly recommend for a nice Maine getaway.

This was such a sweet place to stay! Four of us (two couples) were in town for a wedding, and we so appreciated the cozy, roomy living room; the proximity to downtown Rockland; and the warmth of MaryBeth and her husband's hospitality. We slept like babies and adored the perfect New England vibes all around us!

Ivey's place is fantastic! It is truly my favorite stay. her home is cozy and inviting. Ivey goes above and beyond to make your stay special. beautiful, fresh flowers adorn every little space, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, the bed and bedding are delicious and her yard and privacy are amazing! We arrived to a homemade blueberry pie and a supply of staples in the refrigerator. Ivey is warm and friendly, but not intrusive. The location is great- not too far from all that you want to do in Acadia, but away from the fray. The town is adorable with things to do and so e great restaurants. I would recrecommend this stay to anyone! We love Ivey, and her precious home that she so generously offers.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and Ann was super easy to communicate with before and during our stay. As others have noted, while the distance to the Bar Harbor business district is technically walkable, the roads have no shoulders, sidewalks, or street lights so walking after dark would not be a good idea. That said, we had no problem with finding parking (in mid/late October).

Such a great location and very private! Walkable to downtown and super close to the park. Love the tv in the bedroom to relax after long hiking days :) kind & responsive host. Such a cute space and the spacious king bed was dreamy.

we were very happy with kitchen supplies. Everything was totally comfortable and we loved the view.

Super cute and cozy, hot tub was amazing, and the location was super close to Volta Climbing and Fitness where we were attending a competition, so it was perfect! Nice short drive into Bar Harbor too.

Perfect studio. Used the jetted tub, nice and relaxing. Lots of extras (new toiletries, coffee, filters, sugar, etc.) much appreciated and used. The view, esp at sunrise, was stunning. Quiet neighbors. The beach store (pizza, sandwiches, salads, coffee and more) was very good. Just down stairs and one building over. (get there early for their muffins) I would certainly stay here again.

Robin's place was perfect for relaxing at the end of my work day. The hot tub was clean and refreshing under the night sky. The space was super cozy and the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware.

Donna’s place was even better than expected. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Donna was up front about there being no kitchen right away which allowed us to plan ahead and be prepared. The area was beautiful and so peaceful and the huge windows facing the lake were a delight to wake up to each morning. During the days we explored Acadia National Park, just an hour drive away on 1 or 2 roads (always felt shorter) and in the evenings we enjoyed a campfire, stargazing at the end of the dock, and always looked forward to warming up in the hot tub that was always hot and ready for us. This place was perfect for our beautifully cold Acadia winter vacation and felt like a great deal for what we got. I would definitely recommend.

Bohni was an amazing host! Her place was so comfortable and a nice break from the city. She was very responsive via text, and had a lovely list of recommendations for her visitors. Will definitely return!
