Vacation rentals in Bamford

The Rose cottage was really my first experience with an Air B&B anywhere let alone Ireland, so I was guarded in my expectations. The cottage was superlative in almost every regard. Great kitchen, bedrooms are private and well-appointed and separate baths for myself and my son. And as I am finding in my travels through Ireland, the internet service was reliable and robust. Richard is an amiable and gregarious host that provided me with invaluable guidance and insights to the local area as I am looking for a house to buy here. He is the Sherpa guide to that area of the country. Staying here gave me a sense of the deep history associated with the location from the 600 year old castle to which the cottage attached even to the Game of Throne decorative swords on the walls. The neighbors that also reside there are friendly and outgoing and will engage in spirited conversations over a cup of tea. The only downside comment I could offer is that the sheep seemed a little nervous

This Airbnb&B was a treasure trove of lovelyness!! There were toys for our 6 year old to play with, space for our three month old and a great selection of TV services to watch. There was also lots of added extras from boardgames to coffee pods! Neal and Ann were fabulous hosts and always quick with a response! We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in St Helens and would most definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!

A great place to stay in Cobh!

This is a very special place. Mairéad could not have been more accommodating and kind. From the fresh eggs, sausage and rashers to the sweet baby lambs and donkeys on the property, this place had it all and then some. Including an amazing walkable beach. Just stunning all around. Such a beautiful place and such beautiful hosts. Highly highly recommend The Cottage. Thank you very much Mairéad and John for making the last leg of our trip so wonderful. We shall return. Very easy to get in and out of. Marian was very good with a couple of little things that needed attention like getting new light bulbs out straight away. Great little playground for the little one and very peaceful.

Everything was perfect. The welcome gift was such a nice surprise. The cabin had everything we needed. It was absolutely spotless and so private and comfortable. We parked the car and didn’t leave until we checked out. Highly recommend Caroline’s cabin!!

This was my absolute favourite place of our trip to Ireland. It was spotless, spacious, beautiful, and everything worked perfectly! The kitchen is large and well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the host even left us some chocolate cake! It's in a beautiful area, we drove 5 minutes down the road and had a walk on a gorgeous little beach. Would stay again, highly recommended!

Beautiful cabin in a lovely quiet spot in the countryside. Accommodation is stunning … inside and out .. well worth a visit .
