Gaby is a phenomenal hostess. She lives close by and made sure that we were comfortable. She noticed that there was no steam from our outside exhaust vent and contacted us that the heat may be out. It was and our hot water was also affected. She fixed the problem before there was any discomfort and we didn’t even realize that there was an issue. She was also nice enough to bring her dogs by so we could visit with them and love on them. The home is charming and quiet. We visited in the winter so we didn’t use the pool but my wife and I loved the jacuzzi tub and used it nightly! There were many board games to choose from and a smart TV if we just wanted to relax at night. We didn’t see a bahnhof (train stop) in town and the nearest grocery store is in Rothenburg, about 5KM away. So you’ll need a car. I think there is a guesthaus down the road with a restaurant but your choices are very limited in the village. There are also many stairs so the house is not ADA compliant.

Lovely airbnb in a nice quiet side street. Located close to a Lidl and a great beer garden with accompanying German restaurant. We loved the hot tub and amazing decoration and had a really pleasant stay!

My boys and I really enjoyed the stay. It was all there what you needed. The location, the beautiful large garden including terrace, sauna, hot tub was a sheltered place to relax. We will be super happy to come back!

Excellent! We enjoyed our stay in Sabrine's home. She has a beautiful home that had all we needed plus a sauna as a bonus! On the cold days we happily sat in there and warmed up! The location is great - right next to a tram line and the main station. Great cafes, bakeries and restaurants in walking distance. Regina is very pleasant and showed us how things worked in the home. Highly recommend!!

we were very satisfied. I booked the space for a family weekend We have a one-year-old with us. There were a lot of toys in the apartment, behind the house a large garden with a fleet for the little ones, slide, balls, gates, shovels - everything a child's heart desires. The apartment is large, the bedrooms are upstairs. Everything is fine. Kitchen is nice and large, a nice fireplace is also available, which provides cozy warmth. The owners live downstairs and are very helpful. We enjoyed it very much, we felt very much at home. It's very quiet. Parking right outside the door. 25 km to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and 16 km to the outdoor museum Bad Windsheim. Highly recommend accommodation for families.

It was an excellent accommodation experience. Whether you drive or use the public transportation system, it's very convenient. There are also exclusive parking spaces right at the entrance. The interior is comfortable and spacious, and there is a wonderful garden outside. I believe it will be even more beautiful in spring. The facilities are also very complete. If I have the chance, I will definitely stay here again. It's highly recommended.

Quaint, old half-timbered house with character. There were five of us and the house is perfectly suited for this number of people, enough space and enough bedrooms for everyone. The house is cozy and has style, but of course does not have the comfort of a modern apartment (low passages, we have hit our heads several times; no sinks in the toilets, no modern shower). The location is quite romantic with the neighboring water castle, it was also very quiet when we were there and you are right outside in nature, there are also a few hiking trails right on site. In the nearby village shop you get everything you need, even fresh rolls in the morning.

I can recommend the brick mill 100 percent. The arrival was very pleasant, friendly welcome, parking right outside the door, play barn directly opposite, so you have a nice view of the children when unloading. Great activities: we enjoyed the barbecue and campfire with the hosts very much, just like our trip to the Ansbach adventure pool and the children's hiking trail Rüdisbronn. The brick mill is very quiet. Really great if you want to unplug for a few days. No negative aspects.

We had a good time in the apartment! Everything was as stated and we particularly liked the quiet location. With several people, you should pay attention to the open bedroom in the gallery (is the way to the bathroom), which is probably not for everyone. In addition, a car is already necessary, but the public transport connection in Steinach (about 3.5 km away) is unexpectedly good. Communication with Sabine went great, she was always very friendly and gave us important information in advance. Thanks for that!

Super nice house. Great location close to forest. We had an extended weekend with the family and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Communication was great. We will be happy to come back.

A Home Away from Home – 10 Stars If We Could! Our stay at Mrs. Heidi and Mr. Herbert’s home in Nuremberg this January was beyond exceptional. As first-time exhibitors at the trade fair, we were new to the city, but their warmth, kindness, and incredible hospitality made all the difference. The home itself was impeccably maintained, and to our surprise, the kitchen was fully stocked —making us feel even more at home. they personally ensured that our entire floor was cleaned daily with the utmost care. Such dedication and generosity are truly rare! Me and my two sons are deeply touched by their thoughtfulness and the genuine care they extended to us. Their home exudes warmth, comfort, an experience we will cherish forever. We cannot thank them enough for support. If we could, we would give them 10 stars! We stayed as a family of 4 (children 7 and 1 year old) for a weekend Marco and Steffi. We used the apartment as a base for a weekend in Bamberg. We had everything we needed, felt very comfortable and welcome, the apartment was very clean and with our own access perfect for us. The children could play in the morning and evening in the sight of the living area in the garden. That's definitely a huge advantage with the kids. Thank you!

From arrival to departure, everything is just perfect. (also that we didn't arrive until around 10 pm was no problem) You could always get in touch and they were always quick to respond. We will come back 100%. Super nice people and especially for children just a great place.

Very nice place to stay, I would definitely come again. Hopefully the COVID restrictions will be lifted soon and the swim area can be used by multiple families again, it would be a great place to hang out in the evenings for some social gatherings.

Melanie was a great host! She was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and other requests. Her response time was very quick. She is wonderful!

We felt very comfortable with our children in the earth house and on the farm. The apartment is modernly designed and very well equipped. In the farm there are many games (play equipment, trampoline, pool, go-karts, table tennis, volleyball, badminton and much more) and animals. The Bartel family was always friendly and created spontaneous horseback riding for our children. Thank you for the great time!

Very great and lovingly managed and thoughtful complex: four of us had the AC apartment ( enough space with a balcony, everything you need and very clean). The outdoor area is great for children and adults: natural pool ( nice and big) , playground and possibility to grill and the location on the small lake is really nice.
