Lovely house, great location. Perfect for a short getaway. Hot tub was a nice extra, although at this time of year it takes a while to heat up. Also ate at Mhor84 which was close by - great food. In all a fab break. Thanks.

Just spent the weekend at this quaint and pristine cottage! It exceeded expectations. It had all the amenities that were listed including fresh cleaning supplies, smart TV, hairdryer, kitchen supplies, etc. Fresh and clean towels and linen provided. Hot tub was set up for us on arrival with a beautiful view over the loch and plenty of wood for both the hot tub and wood stove. Easy to follow directions for lighting both wood stoves. Would highly recommend to this beautiful location, will definitely be visiting again!

Our stay at the cottage was fabulous. Gorgeous location with lots of lovely walks. The cottage was immaculate, impeccably designed with all of your home comforts. A really perfect, cosy space. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely adored our stay here. It was very comfortable and cozy, felt like home instantly. Walking distance to a wonderful restaurant that had been recommended. Altquhur Byre was a perfectly charming little cottage. The kitchen was modern, spacious and well equipped. The living area was warm and cosy, especially with the fire going. My daughters slept on the sofa bed and found it very comfy. Bedroom was warm with a comfy bed. The bathroom had a powerful shower. The location was very peaceful and there are plenty of walks in the area. I would recommend a stay here and may even be back myself.

Lovely cosy cottage in beautiful surroundings . So peaceful and quiet . We had everything we needed. Beds were really comfortable. Log burner was an added bonus. Fenced and secure garden was great for the dog . Nicola was very helpful and easy to reach as she lives next door, but we still felt we had privacy and were left to our own devices . Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to relax . Great walks from the door and nearby by car .

Had a fantastic short break while away for work. We were travelling with our elderly dog who loved the secure decking / small garden area. The cottage was very private and peaceful with wildlife right outside the door. Will hope to visit again in fairer weather to enjoy the outdoors more and see more of the countryside. A bonus for us was the cafe (The But and Ben) a very short walk away. Vicki was an excellent host allowing us to settle in and to be on hand to answer any questions if required.

Lovely cottage in a spectacularly beautiful area. We felt a very warmhearted welcome at An Sean Tigh Cottage next to the village of Strontian on Loch Sunart and felt very much at home here during our four nights' stay, exploring the wonderfully scenic area. Though everything about Laura and Grant's place quite matched both photos and description, the warmth and coziness of the cottage even exceeded our expectations, the underfloor heating and the wonderfully spacious bubble bathtub being lovely extras adding to the comfy feel. A fantastic stay in a beautifully presented and well equipped cottage. Highly recommended.

A stunning location for this cottage. It was peaceful and has incredible views over the waters to the mountains. It was wonderful to see the tide come and go, we felt close to nature. The cottage was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. There are games and books and enough for wood for your first night there. Underfloor heating was lovely and the fire heated the house really well to the point I needed to open the door to cool down - which is great to know you won’t be cold when you’re up there at the end of Autumn! Having a bath while looking out in the views to the mountains felt like a luxury.

A real gem of a cottage, spacious and cosy at the same time. Fabulous river at bottom of garden which kids can paddle/swim in. Great location in middle of island so everything accessible. Super comfortable beds and great tips in visitor book! Book this if your dates are available!!!

My husband and I stayed at lovely Arrivain Cottage for our first wedding anniversary and couldn’t have chosen a more peaceful and beautiful place! We have stayed in many Airbnb’s in many places but this was simply perfect. I am a clean-freak and the cottage was just spotless throughout. Jacqui and Jeff have put so much effort and attention into this beautiful place; all the thoughtful details make a world of difference: fresh flowers, the clear notes, all the staples stocked, breakfast and fresh eggs upon arrival - it was just above and beyond, thank you! Loved seeing the birds from their feeder each morning and the sun shining from the snow-capped mountain; the cosy fire at night. I don’t think we have had a better sleep anywhere! Thank you for making our stay so memorable - we will definitely be back ❤️

1st time staying at Islay Cottage, the cottage is very quaint set in beautiful surroundings with a waterfall not 1 minute down the road. The cottage was immaculate and well presented, our favourite bit was the log burner. We shall definitely be back again in the next couple of months. Welcoming, warm & great location. Very close to Cameron House where we attended a wedding. Host was super responsive & flexible check in.

What a beautiful place and a lovely comfortable cottage. We stayed a week at the Garden Cottage. A great place to make all kind of day trips in the area. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The 2 bedrooms each had a bathroom, perfect. Carola and James were incredibly friendly and super hosts. Information on nearby points of interest available and also books & DVDs. Definitely a place to recommend and go back to for another visit.
