I cannot recommend Laura’s Airbnb highly enough! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Laura is a genuinely kind host who truly cares about her guests. Her communication is excellent, and she’s always quick to follow up if there’s an issue. For example, when my car unfortunately leaked oil onto the driveway, Laura handled the situation with incredible professionalism and kindness, ensuring everything was resolved without any stress. The space itself is immaculate—spotless, fully stocked with high-quality amenities, and exactly as described in the Airbnb listing. The price is beyond reasonable for what you get, and it’s worth every penny. The location is supreme! Whether you’re on foot or driving, everything you need is within easy reach. It’s also kid-friendly, with parks and a golf course nearby, and dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus. The neighborhood is super quiet and feels incredibly safe—I’ve enjoyed peaceful night strolls and even found the neighbors to be kind.

Gated, private, and clean place to stay. Was exactly what we needed. The airbnb has all that you need. The place is near a busy street (Gosford) so be prepared for fast driving cars at night which can be a little noisy. Area is very well lit especially at night so be prepared for some of the light to stream into the room at night as well. Bring an eye mask if you need a darker room to sleep in.

Great home and great location! I would stay here again as it's in one of the nicer areas in Bakersfield

First, the good: The condo is nicely decorated and was clean. Tracy was responsive, helpful, and understanding. The price is decent for what you’re getting. The not so good: It wasn’t clear to me from the listing that this is an attached condo and is part of a multiplex. This makes it feel dramatically different than staying in a standalone home. Combined with missing blinds from some windows, I didn’t feel comfortable and it wasn’t what I was looking for.

We encountered a few minor issues, but he responded promptly when we reached out he even took the initiative to visit the Airbnb personally to inspect the concerns, ensuring they were resolved right away. Easy to find after a long day’s travel, arriving after dark. The unit worked perfectly for my two week work assignment, located close main roads but also walkable to downtown and nearby cute neighborhoods for walking. The bed was comfortable and there are two AC units for hot weather and ceiling fans. Lots of old cute built/in cabinetry. Easy parking out front. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and comfortable space, with 2 separate large desks which make for a great workspace if working from home. Andrew was a very responsive and helpful host. He got back to us quickly with any questions or issues that arose. Kitchen was mostly stocked but could use a few more of the basics (tongs, mixing/serving bowls for example). It can get a bit loud from the street noise from nearby Gosford Road. Overall very pleased with stay and host

I booked this property for my employee Adam, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The host’s communication was above and beyond, ensuring everything went smoothly throughout the stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it the perfect home away from home for the 45 days he was there. I truly appreciate the host’s attention to detail and responsiveness, which made this an exceptionally pleasant experience. Highly recommend!
