This was our second time staying and we came back for a reason! The cottage is well-taken care of, comfortable, and has everything we need. The area is in a beautiful part of Oregon and within easy reach of all the outdoor fun we love. We can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay! 3 couples and our babies. The house was very kid friendly. Also, the host was very responsive. Couldn’t find the salt and pepper or olive oil, but otherwise had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

His was our 3rd or 4th time staying here for presidents weekend skiing at Anthony Lakes. The house is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It accommodates our three families with teenagers well. The hot tub is top notch!! And kitchen has most everything you’ll need. Many high quality towels. The massage chair competed with the hot tub as the most popular accessory. Now in a better location as well.

Love love love this cabin. We had such a great stay. It was so peaceful. The beds were so comfortable, with clean, fresh smelling linens! We loved the property and access to the river. This was an amazing place for a short getaway for our family to gather. We highly recommend this cabin. We will return! Thank you Joe for your hospitality!

Enchanting A-Frame

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the Enchanting A-Frame (both in winter season) and it was even better this time - it's wonderful going back to a familiar place. The a-frame is perfect for our needs with 2 teens and a dog who's most at home in the mountains. In the winter it's more on the rustic side, with the limited plumbing, but we found it no trouble at all and the creek is a gem. Everything you need is there and we cooked dinner almost every night. We skied at Anthony Lakes and it was a brief 40 minutes to the lot from the cabin, so well-positioned if skiing is your plan. Betty is a gracious and responsive host and we are grateful she shares this wonderful spot with people like us who just love the beautiful Elkhorn Mountains!

Charming 1882 Cottage in Baker City

Mellisa did a great job describing that it is an old house. It is perfect for a single or couple. The furnishings are well chosen and in a nice condition. The vinyl collection is a fun addition that we enjoyed very much. The cooking pots and pans are a quality much better than I usually find in an AirBnB. The house is a short walk to the theater, many good restaurants, coffee, a park, a river walk, the library, and much more. The parking spot behind the house is very convenient and helps loading and unloading from further adventures. Also, my plans changed and I needed to arrive a few days early. Mellisa was quick, clear, and allowed me to edit my reservation to create a longer stay. Huge thank you! We look forward to staying at the house again.

Absolutely charming, cozy and super clean cabin with many cool details and big upgrades! Kim went out of her way to make our experience much better than expected, a perfect, quiet place to relax after Anthony Lakes skiing and checking out nearby restaurants. Spent the holiday skiing at Anthony Lakes - stayed in Baker City and enjoyed our place. Short drive (45 min) to the ski hill and easy walk (1 mile) to downtown for dinner. The place was spacious and we especially enjoyed the back living room area where we lounged to watch college playoffs.

Our stay here in Baker City was wonderful. the house was amazing, it comfortably fit our party and was warm and inviting. I appreciate the thought that went into the little things such as the amenities being ready, fresh bread, mattress protectors that double as heating pads you could pre-warm the beds with. great appliances and cookware, thoughtfully laid out and easily accessed. Fantastic communication, thank you again for hosting us for Veterans Appreciation Day at Anthony Lakes:)

We loved our stay at the school house. Having so many bathrooms was really nice, as we stayed here with several families. There was plenty of space for people to spread out. We were ~35 minutes from Anthony Lakes, so it was a close drive to the mountain. Beautiful surroundings and mountain views too! Thanks for a great stay!

Everything was great, well stocked kitchen, towels etc. easy walk to down town and shopping/food. My only complaint was the shower was nearly impossible to adjust to a usable temperature. If the shower controls were fix I would have 0 issues.
