Beautiful place. Will definitely visit again in the summer so we can utilize more! It was the perfect quite get away me and my husband needed!

staying in this house felt like a privilege. The location is terrific, the host professional, but the house is simultaneously completely beautiful and feels real, like there's a very happy history here. The house lost power for several hours due to a storm, and I just put on a sweater and watched the lake. That's how good the location is, and how beautifully the house frames the scenery. I always appreciate when reviewers mention the bed. The bed is great. No notes. I hope I will be lucky someday to bring my family here in the summer. It's kind of the platonic ideal of a small lake house.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and nicely decorated. Susan was great and made sure we were prepared for our stay. She went above and beyond by sending us videos on how to navigate to the cottage and responded quickly to any questions I had. It was a very peaceful stay. 10/10 recommend!

We were looking for a quick, long weekend get away over Martin Luther King holiday not too far from home and by the beach for our dogs. This red house on Mutiny Bay was the ticket to a nice, relaxing four day weekend. Our dogs could be with us on all the balconies and the fenced in backyard without being on leashes. Hearing the coyotes at night was scary but we kept a close watch on our dogs with flashlights. We enjoyed the warmth and tending the wood stove to keep the house nice and toasty. We went to Double Bluff Beach every day for our dogs to enjoy off leash socializing. We had very hopes of frequenting Mutiny Bay Beach with our dogs but they don’t allow dogs off leash so we never went there. We really had a good time! Our breakfasts with fresh eggs from Susan’s chickens were a wonderful treat. We would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

This location was above expectation. It was quiet and beautiful. There were great amenities with the club house as well. My kids enjoyed the pool. My husband and I enjoyed the games and hot tub. It was easy to walk everywhere. The accessible beaches and walking trails made this place one of a kind.

This was our second stay at the Heron Haus and it was just as great this time as the last. We love it so much and will definitely revisit this place as often as we can. It’s so peaceful and quiet there. The view is amazing and peaceful. The sunrise is absolutely spectacular. And the constant sea life swimming by throughout the day we just love. I leave there so relaxed and at ease. Wish they offered a point system. I’d stay there every other month. LOL

What a neat place. A bit chilly (we stayed in Jan.) so you'll want to bring some firewood. Very cool Decor and the private beach was amazing. Super close to Dash Pointe State Park and other beachy type places. I would come back in a heartbeat. Vince was really great and allowed us to extend our trip multiple times. Can't recommend this place enough!

Lovely cottage! This was a great stay and we will definitely book again! The cottage is close to the ferry, in a nice, quiet neighborhood, clean, cozy and welcoming. The host was communicative and left very detailed instructions/directions. They even left delicious cookies! I loved everything about this place :)

Cassandra’s place was perfect for our small family. The house is located on a quiet street, just a minute from Highway 101 and right on the water. The view of the water was so nice and peaceful right from the living room and large deck. I wish we could’ve used the deck more, but it was winter time. They had lovely looking furniture and a gas fireplace and grill that would be perfect for warmer weather. The fireplace inside the house was awesome, and so was the kitchen. They had everything you can think of to cook just about anything. Lots of counter space, and coffee for us too. The place was very clean, had comfortable beds and furniture, and a decent shower. I loved the location in Brinnon, the Geoduck restaurant and bar nearby is awesome. Dosewallips State Park is within a few miles, Hama Hama Oysters is about 15 minutes away. Also there are kayaks and life jackets available and a nice fire pit on the dock at Cassandra’s place. Highly recommended.

fully equipped kitchen, surround sound media, I felt I was at home as I didn't miss anything except my king bed...but then again my husband and I loved the bed and pillows. plenty of outlets. love the shower and fresh towels and the shower soaps! love to know where james found all the nice things for his home. everything was coordinated and organized. wish we spent more time, but the cottage had another booking. my daughter loved her personal space in the loft with a beautiful chandelier!!!! we did a trail in south whidgby, visited Langly for dinner at Seabolt seafood restaurant in Whidgby(highly recomend)The Star Store had rare spices i was looking for and Spanish Cava Champagne. it was a relaxing family time! We had our own board games to play and preferred to stay in the cottage because it was so cozy. we will be back!!!

After 15 years of visiting the same place on Whidbey Island, we found a new spot! This is a magical little place just a few minutes north of Langley, where we saw an abundance of wildlife, had relaxing mornings and restful sleep! Ashlyn's place was perfect for our family of three. The cute little cottage was full of books and wonderful art. Ashlyn was so accommodating about our arrival and provided us with wonderful recommendations. We will definitely be back! If you do book, make sure you ask about the breakfast - ours was spectacular!!

Wow!!! This place is amazing!!! Clean, well appointed cottage, comfortable bed, and an easy walk down to a heated gazebo overlooking Puget Sound (with a gorgeous view of Mt Ranier and the cascades when the sun was out). Owners were welcoming and kind. Beautiful!! Peaceful!! Easy and cozy comfortable!!! Perfect!

Cottage is very well updated, but keeps charm of an 1930 era bungalow. The backyard is perfect for a dog, and for humans too, though I visited in January so sitting on the back porch was not realistic. It is close to downtown Sequim, so you could easily walk to restaurants or coffee shop.. I would stay there again

Wonderful place. Peaceful and quiet retreat. Great bird watching and morning sunrise from the deck. Comfortable bed. Perfect for a couple. We stayed in the winter over New Years and the temperature was nice and warm inside the home and easily adjustable. There were great restaurants, bars and other stores in the town nearby and whale watching spots within a 10 minute drive. Great window exposure of the beautiful scenery. I would certainly go back. Stayed 2 days/nights and wish I stayed longer. Barron was friendly during the entire process.

Fabulous place to stay with a beautiful lagoon view. The residence is extremely well maintained and appointed and would absolutely book this again.

This is the best air bnb in the northwest if not further. It is so comfortable and welcoming. Ot has great complimentary items the unit is cozy. It is a great value. This unit and the host reminded me of why we love air bnbs. It offered more comfort and better feel than a hotel and felt like we were right at home. Especially traveling with a new born and a dog. Its pet friendly with plenty of space and grass to walk you dog. As far as newborn goes they pre warmed the unit up and set up a pack and play for the baby to sleep in. I’m telling you if you are traveling to this area you need to stay at this air bnb.

We had some issues out of our control on our trip and Gayle was great throughout all of it! 10 out of 10 would recommend her place to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable place to stay!

Very tranquil and private setting. Trail right out back with miles of exploring. Very close to Port Ludlow Marina and a short drive to numerous parks and Port Townsend for shopping and dining. Home was very cozy and clean. Larry is very responsive and helpful! Thank you Larry! Enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the warmer months ahead.

Great hosts! My stay was over Thanksgiving holiday. Renee was nice enough to provide me with additional cooking pans so I could make my family dishes. It was a clean and quite place to relax after a day with my family. Amazing views! Close to a walking beach!

The pride in ownership of this place was exceptional. There were 2 big storms while we were there this weekend and we were forced to wait out these storms before getting the boats off the dock and onto the trailers. We had checked out already and had nowhere to stay dry. They accommodated us by letting us all go back into our cabin until the storm passed and it was safe. They even offered us to stay an extra night and wait until morning. This is a 10/10 place. EVERYONE and EVERYTHING was wonderful... we can't wait to schedule our next get away!
