Waterfront vacation rentals in Baião

We rented the entire floor for 5 people: 3 double rooms, one kitchen with a closed terrace, and two bathrooms. The apartment is very functional, well kept and well located. We recommend it!

This is a lovely apartment with parking and elevator. The view from the balcony is stunning! Maria was very sweet and helpful. We had difficulty finding the location and Maria and I did not speak the same language so she had someone call me back that spoke English to help me find the location and answer any questions. Great location, great apartment. highly recommend :)

Fernando was a welcoming host, and even shared a 50 year old Porto with us. The house is a true gem, filled with antiques, and everything modern that subtly goes along with that. It was comfortable, the beds had the best linens, it was clean, and bright. The view and surroundings of the duoro Valley and the towns could not have been better. I wish to return if we ever come back to this beautiful area.

A wonderful and tasteful apartment in the middle of Amarante. The view and the architecture is stunning. The kitchen has everything that you need for a couple of days. I felt very comfortable and would love to be back. Obrigada!

We truly enjoyed our time relaxing at this scenic and historic place. Right along the river, attached to walking trails in a little park. Plenty of space and all the comforts of home. We spent a cool December evening here cozying up next to the fire and reading about the history of the region. The bridge/entrance dates back to roughly 1660-1740, incredible!

Second stay here and just as good as the first magnificent views of the river valley and wonderful full moon.

The house is very nice, with all the amenities that you would need for short or long stays.

Paulo and Isabel are the sweetest couple. So welcoming. You stay in a separate building on their property that has a killer view of the Douro Valley. Walking distance to the nearest town. Close to most of the major vineyards but it is so beautiful you will not want to leave! Very comfortable bed. Great inside and outside sitting areas to watch the boats go by and admire the mountains and vineyards. Paulo gives you lots of food for breakfast, more than we could eat so we had lunch as well. We both felt that this was one of the best places we stayed while in Portugal.

My husband and I had an absolutely lovely stay at Casa da Torre. This family-run Quinta is nothing short of stunning, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. We stayed during New Year’s Eve, and it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight was the breathtaking fireworks display over the river, which we enjoyed directly from the house. The house itself is quaint with spectacular river views and hosts a cozy fireplace that made our evenings warm and special. The family thoughtfully provided firewood, adding an extra touch of care that we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Casa da Torre to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. It’s a perfect blend of charm, comfort, and hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

Paradisiacal and very peaceful place, with beautiful views of the valley. Everything was impeccable, ideal for relaxing and relaxing. the house is nicely decorated with great taste, the kitchen is well equipped . Tania is very responsive and was able to facilitate our stay. Flexible check-in and checkout, our host was very accommodating. this is a great place!

Marvelous home in beautiful surroundings. Lots of hiking areas as well as local restaurants and cafes. The train station to Porto is just two mins drive from the house. The kitchen was well stocked for home cooked meals. Afonso, the host/property manager went above and beyond and was so helpful prior arrival and even more so during our stay. Any concerns or questions we had were resolved quickly. Cannot wait to return!
