Vacation rentals with a patio in Backbarrow

A very enjoyable stay within very easy reach of towns, mountains, lakes and hills of The Lake District with our car. The accommodation is extremely comfortable, well maintained and equipped with adjustable heating controls, all of which were very much appreciated. The balcony is delightful to sit or stand on and enjoy sunrise and sunset even on a frosty morning, which was glorious! Jen was a helpful and communicative host, who even checked in via a message during our stay to see that everything was going well. The bed and bedding is pristine and the towels are luxuriously thick and spa like! We had a perfect stay and highly recommend this accommodation to others. We didn’t use the sports facilities as the weather was wonderful and we spent so much time outdoors, but they looked great and had the weather been less pleasant we would certainly have done so. We visited over the Christmas / New Year period and the tasteful Christmas decorations added to the overall experience. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay, it was a shame we couldn't stay longer this time! Lovely apartment, very clean and quiet and ideally located for walking into Bowness on Windermere and for visiting surrounding area. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great spot for our family’s two week winter stay in Ulverston. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants, off street parking, warm, and felt at home. Highly recommend for a short or long stay. Friendly and responsive hosts. Thanks John.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights stay here at Brow Top. Very warmth and cozy place. Instructions from direction to the place to how to use the appliances/tools were meticulously well written and arranged. Lovely well equipped kitchen with complimentary drink; milk and biscuits. Even provide ingredients for bread making. Walkable distance to Windermere town and other amenities. Great cafes and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house & grounds in a peaceful setting. The house interior was delightful, the rooms are all finished to a high standard & there is everything you could need & more. Hot tub & the garden hut are both fabulous extras. Great location, Lovely walk to Bowness took approx 20mins. Fabulous place to stay, will definitely be back ⭐️

A perfect getaway in the heart of Bowness! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the centre of Bowness. It was peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of space and a really cozy atmosphere. The cottage was clean and had all the facilities we could need. Alison was an exceptional host, and we couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend this place!

This place was perfect for our family weekend to Blackpool with our two dogs. The location was ideal as close to the beach and the tram stop, with plenty of shops nearby. The house was a good size and was lovely and clean and there was even a Christmas tree up. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The enclosed garden was also handy for the dogs. Really good value for money.

Great stay. Clean, tidy, well presented and well represented by the photographs. Kim was easy and pleasant to deal with, instructions were always very clear. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay at Declan’s cosy Cottage in Scorton. The cottage was very easy to find, very clean on arrival and in a great location. Lots of walks on the doorstep and a great restaurant across the road called the Barn. I would highly recommend staying here.

Apartment was incredible! Looks great on pictures, but even better in person. Very private and peaceful with a luxury feel and hot tub was very nice in the cold weather. Owen was responsive and friendly, giving clear instructions to make the experience seamless for us. Definitely recommend this place, had an amazing time!

Amazing stay - home was spotless and everything you wanted and needed was there. The booklet with guidence on accommodation and what’s around went above and beyond with every detail covered. Beds was so Comfy with pillows soft and luxurious feel. Kitchen had all that you needed including a cool coffee machine. Can’t give anything other than 5 stars and will I’m sure return on next visits to the gorgeous Lake District

Great stay, Kevin was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. The only downside is that the kitchen has no heating and therefore it got very cold. Kevin brought a portable heater to help. To get to the bathroom you have to walk through the kitchen, so make sure to bring your cosy slippers!
