Vacation rentals with a sauna in Avery County

We had the best time and loved our view of the slopes from the porch! The pool and hot tub area was so nice and everyone was so friendly. Our son had a great time. It was a very kid friendly environment. Sherrie was an awesome communicator and very sweet. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay. It was close to Beech Mountain Resort and convenient to restaurants and other things to do in the area.

Jenny and Ania were very responsive hosts. Their place was perfect for a family of three. It was clean, fully stocked and in a great location (near snow tubing). There was also lots to do at the place itself, like playing pool or going to the hot tub. We definitely plan on coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The boys were out skiing almost every moment, and I was able to ski for a few hours and then come back and work in peace and quiet with a n ice view of the mountains. The place was comfortable and cozy and it was easy to get to both Beech Mt and Sugar Mt ski resorts.

We were very comfortable during our stay in Beech Mountain. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well supplied. We stayed warm while it was super cold outside. Would love to come back when we can stay longer and enjoy more of the amenities.

Great location for our quick stay to ski at beech mountain.

The condo was the perfect base for our family's weekend in the mountains. It's is walking distance to the sledding hill, in the next building to the pool/hot tub, and there's a smaller hill for sledding right outside. Do take the instructions about snow chains seriously; the last half mile of the drive was very icy when we were there.

Jim’s place was the perfect place to stay for a ski weekend at Beech Mountain. The condo was super cozy and comfortable for our family of 3. We also loved being so close to the pool area. Jim was super responsive when we checked in and had some last minute questions. We loved our stay!

Stacia’s space was lovely and just what my partner and I were looking for during our weekend snowboarding getaway. I’ve stayed in a few different units at this particular complex, and Stacia’s is easily my favorite so far. The place is stocked with just about anything you could need, and the outdoor porch has a perfect view of the Beech Mountain slopes. Stacia was very kind and communicative, and I’m so grateful that she shared her home with us. Will definitely be on the lookout for this spot when planning future snowboarding trips!

Great place! Very clean and as described. 2 things wish I knew when booking: Tire chains and/or All Wheel Drive are a requirement. Sugar Top Resort was windy during our stay, which means you can hear all sorts of air vents banging from the fireplace. This was incredibly annoying at night, and would keep a light sleeper awake. We talked to other guests in the elevator about this and it seems an issue for the whole resort.

Francine’s place was exactly as described and right next to the clubhouse with pool/hot tub/sauna. We could go from the snow to our room to the hot tub in moments! Perfect for a delightful winter weekend!

This place was amazing and beautiful. Right outside the balcony is the top of one of the ski lifts making access to the slopes a very short and easy walk. Access to the hot tub and gym was also a huge plus. Definitely the best place on Sugar Mountain that we have stayed. Highly recommend for ski vacations.

the place was convenient to skiing and snow boarding. our family went for four days and were able to ski and snowboard without fighting the crowds. excellent location and space.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo, it was exactly what was shown in the photos. The view was beautiful and there was easy access to the ski slope. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed using the hot tub in the clubhouse!

When we walked into the condo, l said “this place is better than I expected”. Jody’s place is very clean and cozy with breathtaking view of the slopes and mountains. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Kitchen is fully stocked (has olive oil, salt, and paper). Showers do not have toiletries. Please pack your own.

This was the first time we have stayed at this Sugar Top location and with Michelle as host and i sincerely hope to stay again! Michelle was a great communicator and very patient with all my questions. The unit was lovey, updated, comfortable, and welcoming. The beds were COMFY! There were lots of extra blankets and pillows, which was so nice to have. The space was perfect for our little family! The staff at the property were all so friendly and helpful. We genuinely felt welcomed from beginning of our stay until we checked out. 10 out of 10 recommend Michelle and her property!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay near the slopes!! This was the perfect house for us and our 4 legged friend, we will absolutely be looking to stay here again!

Crystal and Aimee where absolutely wonderfully to work with, extremely responsive and informative. The condo is perfectly decorated and furnished. Everyone at the building was very helpful and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook this Airbnb. There are so many things to do close, even in the off season, the town and surroundings are amazing!!!

Amazing and stunning view! Place was pristine, exactly like the pictures! We had the pleasure to see, besides lots of deer, a beautiful family of bears! This is one of the best AirBnbs that we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. It has EVERYTHING you could need in the kitchen, and I appreciate the little things like dishwasher and laundry pods. The beds were so comfortable and there were tons of extra blankets, sheets, pillow, etc. The condo is spacious and was very clean. I also genuinely appreciate a simple checkout procedure. The host was exactly as communicative as you’d want, and always available when I had a question. On top of that the staff from the guys at the gatehouse, to the shuttle driver, and front desk staff could not have been more amazing - just kind, thorough, genuine southern hospitality. We would highly recommend!

Enjoyed the location of the condo. Great amenities (unexpected sleds and gear for the snow)! Will definitely stay again when we head back to Beech Mtn!

John’s place on Sugar Mountain was wonderful and exceeded expectations! It’s very easy to get to and there was easy access to the condo itself. John also was nice enough to let us know the condo was ready earlier than expected for our stay. The long range mountain views and proximity to Oma Meadow slope and lift (literally right outside your balcony of the condo) was amazing. We have skiers and non-skiers in our family of 5 and it was so nice for the skiers to be able to go out and ski while the rest of us hung back. Another perk of staying in the Sugar Ski & Country club was the free Village Shuttle bus that runs up and down the mountain to Sugar Ski Resort. The non-skiers were able to take the shuttle to go tubing and not have to worry about parking etc. The condo was spacious, clean and had cable TVs in every room and a well equipped kitchen. We are planning to book John’s place again next ski season!

An absolutely incredible stay! We came to Sara’s listing for a birthday celebration, looking for a peaceful and wholesome weekend. I could not have been more pleased with the house, everything was beautiful, clean, private. The view is incredible and the house gets beautiful light through the day as the sun travels across the big open windows. The exposed wood is so beautiful and there are plants and modern art around the house that add to the luxury feel. The sauna and hot tub are great, with easy instructions and Everything was well kept. I’d definitely suggest this Airbnb to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain weekend.
