Vacation rentals in Aurdal

This place is a warm, cozy and stylish gem, in the middle of nature. We had a lovely personal welcome by the hosts, plenty of fire wood, never ending views and lots of peace and quiet. For two weeks we enjoyed the snow, ski tracks, winter nights and northern lights! Our three kids spent hours building snow castles and we spent hours reading near the windows. The place has all the amenities you need and good quality furniture, kitchen, beds etc. The nearby mountain school has a friendly owner and rents out various ski equipment and the cabin has some different sleds too. A proper car(winter tires, preferably 4x4) is advised as the road up to the cabin can be tricky in certain weather conditions, but the owners are very proactive in weather and driving advice! All in all a place we love to visit again.

Lovely stay in a cozy, well-functioning and clean cabin. Great views and close to Hafjell ski area. Birgitte was very helpful and responded quickly to messages with questions.

We had an amazing 3 months, we would definitely rent this flat again and will recommend it to friends! The location is great: it is super easy to get to the airport, to reach public transport and city bikes, the city center is 20-25 min wlaking, there is something interesting to see in every walking direction, Gruneloka/Vulkan are nearby, the river is 5min walking (great running route!). All essential shops are <2-5min walking. The flat is fully furnished. The kitchen is particularly well furnished, enough to cook everything we wanted and invite friends over. We used the coffee machine extensively :) The flat is big but easy to keep cleaned, the robot cleaner was a nice help. The flat is on the 5th floor without lift, so we got in shape ;) The balcony is great (we enjoyed it even in the fall). The bedroom on the courtside has a nice sunrise view. A desk was available which was great for home office and the wifi was good! The host left us an additional foldable bed which was a nice touch. The mattresses were a bit soft to our taste at first but easily adaptable. The host was nice to chat with, very responsive, and very quick to take action for anything mentionned in the period we were there (for example replacing the washing machine which broke down unexpectedly). Great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalies place! Everything was clean and comfortable, the cabin had everything we needed and it was just a 10 min drive to the alpine resort. Charlie was a great host and answered any questions quickly. Would definitely recommend!

Alex replies really soon, the location is perfect. It’s a tiny room but it’s got everything you need. Although, the neighbor downstairs plays bad music really really lodlud, but it’s not like all day long, sometimes it lasts like 2 hours, so it’s acceptable. Overall, I still think it’s a good place to stay.

Håvard is an excellent host. His place is so nice & he has such good instructions in booklet, plus he is always available to ask questions. The location is the best in Oslo, as everything is available to you here, restaurants, groceries, wine bar, etc. I like k forward to returning!

The apartment is close to the city centre (20 min walking or 10 min by tram). Grunneløkka is a lively area with parks and hips of shops bars and restaurants. The flat was clean and the bed comfortable and the WiFi worked great. The only negative point: during the national day we had to sleep earplugs on because the room window leads to the Main Street. Yet, we had a lovely time and we will stay here again when we come back to Oslo. Also, Anna was very accommodating and responsive. Self-check in was easy and smoothly.
